The "old guy" is called Hugh.
Hugh is an interesting, intelligent man. He spends the majority of his life in Hello Market, working to take care of his family.
Many nights Hugh stayed open late so I could stop in and grab some cigarettes and Gatorade. He's a nice guy....unless you think you're going to misbehave in his establishment. You'd have an easier time across the street at the police station, trying to play the crying game with unsuspecting officers.
My hope is that Hello Market and Forest Grove never change.

Not sure why other people are so mad at Hugh, he's a nice guy. (At least to me?) I usually drop off my amazon and UPS stuff at his store.

The owner is a nice guy. Currently you can only shop through his little window-service but if he has it he will totally cater to your needs.

Maybe after COVID this place will improve but for now it’s a little worse for wear. I’m glad it’s not a corporate chain but I hope they can compete.

Reminds me of a store from the 80s or 90s. Needs a serious make over and less signs and stickers in the windows. Cleaner is more. Less is more. Tidy is better.

Owner seems nice. But the food products are extremely low like pretty much out of every item. The Owner said cuz it's winter time so not much things on the shelves but I think this market place is closing up soon.

ALL items are covered in dust, dirty floors, musty smell, cluttered. UPS drop NOT secure. He won't scan items in that he takes so you have no proof you dropped items off. I had dropped a return worth over $100 and asked for a scan, he said "no it messes up my phone". (I shouldn't have left it but I did, package never showed up to the store it was to be sent to) DID get refund from company after I called and told them I did return it. THANKFULLY! I wouldn't buy any food there...ever. just ewe.

Had to come twice to this location for UPS pick up but, the owner is very rude and unwilling to help or ever get off the phone.

The old man at the counter was extremely rude. I won't be coming back.
