Burgers, Pies, & Fries

Traveling through the area when we decided to eat at this little gem off of highway 40. The service was excellent they were all nice and attentive. The food was really good, ordered brisket burgers. They grind their meat daily as well as fresh cut fries. The real gem of the establishment was the fried pies. Made fresh when you order. There are many different choices to fill them with as well. You can even mix flavors. I had a lemon cherry pie. This place is worth the hop off the highway. The prices are more than affordable. I mean, less than 10 bucks for a burger, fries, and a drink.

Their name says it all. They do it all, very well. Great food. Attentive and polite staff. Definitely will return on a future trip. Wife and I both had the ¼lb burger with only bacon, bbq sauce and Cheddar. They were delicious with good flavor and texture. The peanut butter pie was great(recommend making it a chocolate peanut butter), but the blueberry cheesecake pie was AMAZING!! Did I mention that the pies are HUGE?!?

The food was very good. It was made fresh to order. The downside was the extended amount of time to get it. By the time I got my food, I had forgotten about pictures. 😅 My apologies! Most people do say good food is worth the wait. There was no question, it was definitely good food. 🍔 I would keep in mind there is a possibility of a bit of a wait though.

A place so nice I ate it twice! Big burgers made with fresh meat loaded with all the toppings seasoned to perfection. Now the pies…they hold their own at this place. Most of them made fresh right in front of you. Quality is not skimped here. A generous heaping of filling folded over and fried right in front of you. Affordable too, better quality than you get at a fast casual restaurant, if they had these near my home in Alabama, I’d be obese. Don’t sleep on this chain, hit the exit and grab a burger and pie

Great service and even better food! Was too full to try the fried pies but they looked great. Highly recommend if you’re in the mood for a great burger with no frills.

A great alternative to fast food. If you’re looking for burgers or chicken, and don’t want the same old chains, this is the place.

Set was super friendly, prices are very fair, and the burger I had was way better than a typical Wendy’s, BK, or McDonalds.

I did not try the pies but they seem very intriguing. Do yourself a favor and skip the big chains for a quick bite here.

Delicious, large burgers. Plentiful fry servings. Very polite, patient, & helpful workers. Large selection of fried pies & shakes. The atmosphere is so interesting! The music is from the 50s & it looks like some of the kitchen equipment is, too.
So glad we finally stopped here!

Good greasy burger joint, AND they have a gluten free bun! 😎 Fair prices, great fries, and the one who's not allergic to life told me that their fried pies and patty melts are excellent as well. It's not gourmet, but it hits the spot. We've been a couple of times now, and will return.

I absolutely love the 50s background music and vibe🤩 Awesome seasoned fries with honey sauce, may I suggest the Oreo cheesecake pie🥧, my daughter loved it...they also have coke and root beer floats and patio seating as well

Oustanding Brisket Burgers and Fried Pies! Not only is the food awesome, but they let you customize your fried pie, regardless of your odd combination. The eating area is big and allows for large groups easily. Try it out, as you won't be disappointed.

OMG the food is fabulous! The Patty Melt is the best I have ever had. The fried pies are so yummy

Had someone at the drive-thru window double bag my pies as a joke. 8/10. Simple, but effective. I shall return for more pie.

Incredibly impressed with our quick stop by for burgers and chicken strips! The service was fantastic and the food HOT and FAST! Disappointed they didn’t have the ability to do ice cream, shakes, malts but we loved the chocolate cheesecake fried pie! Delicious all around!

I am truly aggravated I have not tried this place before today. The fried pies sounded odd. They are essentially delicious hot pockets made fresh. We had a BBQ, Chicken Veggie, and Pepperoni Pizza Fried pie, and we were very pleased.

We live 45 minutes away, but will happily return.

Listening to 50s/60s hits was a nice touch, and very refreshing.

Best burger I've had in a very long time! Super hot and juicy with that melted cheddar cheese. Great family atmosphere. Whomever came up with the fried peanut butter pie should be the President!

Awesome place. The fried pies speak for themselves but the entire restaurant restaurant is best defined by the connotation of words in your mind when you hear the phrase "fried pies".

This place has great food! The service is fast and the restaurant is clean. The servers were friendly and we are taking home frozen fried pies because we ate too much.

Great service! Great food! The burgers tasted like homemade! Fries and pies were great! Has indoor and outdoor seating. And a drive thru. I will be going back!

I was little apprehensive about going here because I’m from out of town and hadn’t heard of this place. So glad I decided to go! The staff is really friendly and the food was sooo good! The only issues I had were because of google maps. No reservations required and the sign is different on the business but don’t let that deter you!

Burgers were delicious. Not dried out or over cooked. Pies were amazing warm and cold!
