Delicious and will hit the spot! As a soul food cooker I am extremely skeptical of other versions but this food is good! I had to try a taste box with tenders, Mac n cheese, greens, yams, and a side of black eyed peas. The tenders were soft and well seasoned they went well with the Mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese had a creamy cheesy flavor no salt was needed it had a good flavor on its own. The collard greens had a hint of vinegar which I like. The yams were modestly sweet with a little taste of water but I still enjoyed them. Black eye peas were flavorful but I like mine to have a thicker base. I also bought a large order of gumbo! The gumbo was phenomenal- I loved the big slices of sausage and shrimp and the roux has a great creole flavor. By far my favorite dish! The presentation was beautiful and just like the pictures of the website so that was nice. Cool small local restaurant vibe.

Within a couple of minutes of placing my order, I received a phone call to tell me that they were out of peach cobbler beignets, so I choose to change it to Strawberry Beignets.

I ordered the Cajun Smothered Shrimp and Grits. The shrimps were meticulously cleaned and perfectly prepared without tails to remove. The grits were creamy and delicious. But the remoulade sauce with fire roasted tomatoes completely brought this dish to life. My soul cried out in joy when I took my first bite. This here is REAL soul food! This here is straight from NOLA! This here would be what’s served in Cajun Heaven, if there were such a thing. My Cajun grandma (1899-1974) would surely approve. Cajun Smothered Shrimp and Grits. I dunno which Cajun smothered these shrimps, but they deserve all the raises and a paid vacation.

This was so much food, I barely even made a dent in it. It seems expensive at $21.00, but I will likely eat it for lunch tomorrow and Friday. This dish could have been shared with one or two other people. It’s a lot of food, y’all. Worth it.

Husband couldn’t decide on just one thing, so he ordered YGFBFKitchen's Favorite's
Tasting Box. It had Cajun Alfredo Steak Melt, Blackened Cajun Chicken Alfredo and Cajun Smothered Shrimp & Grits. His favorite thing was the steak melt. He said everything was great, though. He finished off the steak sandwich and ate half of the other two entrees and saved the rest for lunch tomorrow.

The strawberry beignets were to die for. They were so fresh and decadent. It came with four, covered in cream and powdered sugar with freshly sliced strawberries. We each ate one and I saved one for tomorrow.

Now, I’ve saved Fried Green Tomatoes to talk about last. They had good flavor, but… it was all breading and an extremely thin slice of green tomato inside. This breading would be excellent as hush puppies. I’ve been known to throw down on some fried green tomatoes, but I only had one of these. My husband ate the other three while complaining of how it was only breading. He was also ‘upset’ they didn’t come with the sauce. But he sure didn’t slow down on eating them.

They need help! If you're looking for a job, call them. We arrived there and the door was locked but we saw people inside and the sign said open. We were let in once the waitress noticed us. It took a while for us to be waited on, and some people left. The food was worth the wait. I'll maybe try them again, but earlier in the day.

Very friendly staff. Our server Jade was excellent. Restaurant was very clean & organized.

Being a vegetarian I loaded up on the side dishes and they were amazing on their own (Left the chicken strips on plate for reference).

Very much what I thought “Southern” cooking should taste like-home cooked and comforting and full of carbs. (Fellow Michigan girl here!)

Generous portions allow for a take-home container that begs to be eaten almost immediately after getting there.

MAC AND CHEESE WAS HOT AND GOOEY, peppered perfectly. Cornbread muffin was moist and sticky sweet. Fried green tomatoes worth writing home about. Never had grits before but the cheesy grits were tasty.

Will definitely return and will remember YGFBFK for any catering needs I may have in the future. 🙌🏻

The wait staff is very friendly, the menu gives lots of options, and the restaurant is clean and cutely decorated. We absolutely loved the food, chicken strawberry waffles and an order of chicken/steak Cajun Alfredo fries. Oh and the sweet tea was sweet just like granny would make it. Highly recommend.

My experience rating here is a 10/10. The food is mmm mmmm finger licking good ! Beautiful franchise & furnishing. The atmosphere was awesome & let’s not forget the staffs who made my visit worth every penny count. Without them you wouldn’t have the YGFBFK Kitchen Experience! This place is definitely a go to with a loved one, guys/girls night out, or family . One more thing if your wondering a bar is in place and it’s so freaking beautiful .

Best brunch in Conway by far! It was our first time and the waitress helped us pick by telling us some of her favorites. The berry chicken and waffles was amazing and the Cajun omelet was good as well. Love supporting local!

I got the shrimp and grits. Great flavor! Very authentic and fresh. Had a little kick. Just a little but was just right. My only complaint would be I'd like to see more shrimp and sausage for the price.

I ordered online and meal was ready as promised. Delivered to my car door with a smile.

The food was outstanding and the restaurant was very clean and welcoming. Friendly staff and decent prices for how good the food is, it was worth every penny spent.

This place is unbelievable! The menu changes everyday, so I suggest adding them on Facebook to see their daily menu. I had the chicken and red velvet waffles with a pineapple lemonade! The crispy, seasoned chicken with perfectly with the richness of the waffle and slight sweetness of the syrup and whipped cream. The pineapple lemonade is very concentrated with the perfect ratio of tangy to sweet! I can't wait to go back!

Authentic southern cuisine in the charming town of Conway Arkansas. Lots of locals and tourists alike. Excellent food and friendly service. You could never get an experience like this at any of the many franchises in this town so take the time to find this authentic and rewarding experience.

I was skeptical because of a few of the reviews . However, this was really really good. The portion sizes are large. This is my togo plate and it looks like I didn’t even eat anything. The waiter was really nice & I didn’t have to wait for my food for a long time. I will be going back to try new things. I really loved the mac and cheese and the pineapple lemonade!

Our party had the Chicken and Waffles, Catfish Nuggets, Chicken and Rice, Favorites Sampler, and Butter Pecan Beignets. Everything we had was great! We will definitely be back!

Wow. A very nice place. Just opened up this new restaurant today but been serving Conway in their food truck for years. Everyone is sooo very nice!!! I’m trying the waffle burger and loaded fries. You can order on bitesquad to get it delivered to your home!!! I recommend this fine restaurant!!!

Finally got to try! The chicken and shrimp Alfredo loaded fries🙌🏾 all combined with the pineapple lemonade...fye. There was a wait for large parties but it was worth it. The staff were very nice and accommodating. We ended up ordering to-go while we waited and they graciously let us sit in just as our table was ready! Good price for the quality of food they serve. Great vibes, music and food. Nice playlist too! I added some new songs to my playlist while there. I want to try the smothered chicken next time 😋

Good God from Zion. The food was beyond excellent. Everything was good from the appetizers to the main course. We will be back whenever we come back here to visit from Dallas

So I wanted to wait until I went back for a second time- to make sure it wasn’t a one hit wonder. They hit a home run with everything!!! Chicken and waffles- delicious; black eyed peas- so good, could be a meal alone; Cajun egg rolls- out of this world! My wife had the catfish tacos- said they were amazing. Staff were fantastic and friendly- you may have to wait - but totally worth it! This is one of our go to places now.

Our service was good and the food was GREAT! The pineapple lemonade was very tasty. We had shrimp & grits, loaded fries, fried okra and chicken and shrimp Alfredo pasta. Also Chelsea the bartender made us some great drinks too.
