The staff was very friendly, the wait was not long at all, the prices were reasonable and the food was different than most places and tasty! We will definitely be back, especially because of the gluten friendly choices.

Incredible local cuisine. Arkansas Possum Pie is a must try for any visitor!!! Their award-winning carrot cake taste a medley sweet gems!! The various salads are super fresh and delish! Must, must try, the Possum Pie (rich sweet silky goodness)!!

The lovely one and I stopped here on a recommendation of a friend. The food was delicious, in decent proportions, and the staff was delightful.
I had the muffaletta. While it was slightly on the smaller side, with the orzo salad it was pleasantly filling. The sweet potato fries added a nice compliment.
The lovely one had the California club. It was good if slightly challenging to consume as presented.
The sweet tea was on par with most, while the minted lemonade was like a refreshing hint of summer.
We finished our meal by sharing a slice of key lime pie. Rich, thick, and absolutely the best taste to finish off our meal.
We plan to return to try other items from the menu when we visit Hot Springs again.
An added plus was the employees. They were all welcoming, willing to answer questions, and went above and beyond to make sure orders were satisfactory.

as soon as you walk in you greeted by friendly people and a welcoming atmosphere. then the food was amazing! definitely made with love. Brisket tacos were tasty tasty and i’m from Texas haha

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The establishment is clean, well-lit, and centrally located. The atmosphere is positive and inviting. The food was surprisingly delicious and the service was extremely fast. This place is awesome!! No wonder one of the staff members has worked here since the year 2000. Parking was a little tight but manageable. They had a variety of items on the menu and fresh food made daily. I most definitely recommend Cafe 1217 to anybody that lives in or is visiting the Hot Springs area.

If you're planning to eat lunch at Cafe 1217, plan to get there early. This is a favorite of many people in Hot Springs, and the ordering line gets long around noon. I ordered the Reuben sandwich with chips, and my friend ordered the Reuben and rice. It was delicious, but next time I will ask for a little more dressing on the side. And I will be going back soon.

It was expensive and worth it. Good clean food after a deluxe treatment at Bluestaff Spa/Bath. Fish Taco Wrap with beet salad-yum. Big eno for leftovers, just as good warmed up. Carotcake was perfect top off later in the day.

After 6 years have found a place that I look forward to eating at. Interesting menu and excellent tasting entrees.
Have to wait on self but can accept that.

We really enjoyed our meals. Ordering was a little different at first, but the staff were awesome and we really enjoyed their friendliness. The angus burger was recommended to me from a friend that lives in Hot Springs and also by the staff. I can definitely say, it was great. You should get it too.
We arrived a little bit before lunch and got our food quickly. When the lunch crowd came in it was super busy. We'll go again if we're in the area.

Most definitely satisfied with everything i purchased. the food totally worth it!!
the first is a strawberry pie , the second was a half mexican chicken wrap & half southwest cob salad. last was the chicken toastada.

This place was amazing! I had the locally sourced cheeseburger with red pepper jelly which comes with potato salad and it was wonderful. My husband had the tacos which looked delicious! My daughter had a Chinese chicken salad which reminded me of the Ramen cold slaw which I loved. We topped it of with chocolate cake and strawberry pie! We will be back! Definitely a MUST in Hot Springs!!

We came in from out of town and got there within 20 minutes of closing. They prepared our food, were very hospitable, and made sure we didn't want to order dessert before they closed out the pastry case for the evening. The food was excellent and we will be back!

The food and staff at this place are incredible! Hands down the best burger I’ve eaten in Hot Springs. And the sweet potato fries are a must. The dessert selection is phenomenal and so is there daily fresh dishes. A MUST GO in this town! 10/10

One of the best places to eat in Hot Springs. Deli-style food and baked goods from scratch. I do not miss it when I come to town. It was a regular place for lunch or take-out when I lived there. The greek salad is the best I’ve had. It is one of the few places with vegetarian options if that is what you desire. My favorite staple besides the salad is their rueben sandwich. The fruit plate is always top-notch. Love their Caesar sliders! You can’t go wrong here. Lots to choose from. And don’t get me started on the awesome desserts! If you’re on the fence about eating there, don’t be. Just go. It will be better than anywhere else you may choose.

I had the combo salad plate which you can select two half portions of their entree salads. I had the Black and Blue (blackened shrimp with blueberry vinegarette) and Dirty Martini (salmon with zesty lemon dressing). They were both phenomenal and I am not a big salad fan. I even ordered a pint of the blueberry vinegarette to go. Also the gluten free carrot cookie was wonderful!

I have never had a single bad bite here. The poblano pimento cheese with tomato soup...perfection.

Great place with amazing food. Definitely a must try if you are gluten-free. My sandwich on gluten-free bread was amazing and the tomato soup is a must. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They made sure I knew the chips were fried in the same oil as some gluten items and offered me a substitute. They even have some gluten-free desserts! 😁

My wife and I had brunch here while on vacation. The food, service, and prices was fantastic. My wife asked if they could have a to-go order of the Vinegarette ready for us to take home in a few days, and she said yes. On our way out, we stopped, and they had it ready to go. We'll definitely stop again when we come back.

Cute and friendly cafe in Hot Springs. It you are a stickler for high quality food, do not hesitate. We loved everything we ordered and the vibe inside was great. If we are ever in the area again we will return!

My husband says Cafe 1217 could take shoe leather and make it palatable. We both enjoy this place. Had a wonderful ladies’ luncheon with friends today and we loved the unique flavors and combinations. So many great veggie and pasta salad options, and the desserts are extra scrumptious. Always get some of the white chocolate macadamia nut cookies to take home.
