Sophia Meyer Family Medicine

I have been a patient of Sophia Meyer Family Medicine for almost five years! I had my annual wellness appointment with Allison Linn, PA-C. She is always friendly and professional. When I decided to undergo genetic testing to identify potential hereditary cancer risk, she was supportive and helped to assist me in the process. When I tested positive for the BRCA1 mutation, she was very proactive about connecting me with subject matter experts in Northwest Arkansas. She has been a great support to me throughout the last two years. Yesterday she asked how things were going with my other doctors on my care team, and asked how my Mom’s health was. I thought that was intentional and kind. I highly recommend Sophia Meyer Family Medicine, especially if you are looking for a local, primary care physician. Love this office. Great place to use as our primary care doctor, also a great place to work.

Dr. Frisbee and Blake are all wonderful there now. Some of the front office staff. They're not so friendly but you don't have to worry about them except checking in and checking out, But everyone else in the back are really nice and helpful

My family and I have used Sophia Meyer for years. Always quick and efficient. We have seen Dr. Frisbie , Allison and Tracy for annual checkups, school physicals, immunizations and as walk-ins. My youngest son was premature and Dr. Frisbie has always addressed our concerns regarding his heart and lung health, and his growth. I recommend them to any of my friends who are seeking new doctors.

This office is very quick to get my kids in if there is a problem. They will do work in's in necessary to make sure my kids get the medical attention they need. Staff is always friendly and remembers little details that let us know they know who we are.

If Dr Meyer can put up with a German mom then 4 stars.

Ok for a check up, but if something is wrong just go to the ER because you won't get help here.

Poor service & communication with patients and themselves.

I went here several years ago when Dr. Floyd was still here and had an awful experience. My mom recommended I go here because she sees Dr. Frisbee. Dr. Floyd acted like she didn't believe any of my symptoms and brushed me off. I went to a different doctor and finally received the tests and care I deserve.

Fast forward to the present - Dr. Frisbee has been pawning my mom off on the nurse practitioners and not even seeing my mom, even though she is my mom's primary care provider. She has taken her off of certain medications abruptly and I have never seen my mom in such pain or so depressed. She calls and calls, but nobody will return her phone calls. The physicians and nurses, as well as the front desk, are so selfish and have no time for anyone but themselves.

Love Dr Frisbee and love Blake, but the entire process of trying to get refills every month is a NIGHTMARE. You can't call in refills before the day they're due, and then they won't approve it for at least two days. When you have your pharmacy send a refill in, they will always say "they didn't get it". Then you spend days trying to get someone to send it. They refuse. The clinic always reverts to "your pharmacy faxed it, and we don't accept that". Our pharmacy "e-sends" it. Whomever is in charge of prescriptions just doesn't want to do their job. I've been complaining about this for a year now, with no resolution, so now I am leaving this review, and will be looking for a new primary care physician. I've tired of wasting hours a month, dealing with this issue.

If I could give no stars I DEFINITELY would!!! Dr. Frisbee is the worst Dr me and my daughter has ever had!! My daughter has been going here for 5 years now (maybe more) and has never once met Dr Frisbee. Everytime I try to get her an appointment they just want to refer me to another clinic!?! Like what!?!? My daughter has been sick for awhile now and we have got no answers! I will definitely not be back here!!!!!!! 😡🤬😤

I am a veteran that just moved to Van Buren last year. I was sent to this doctor by the VA for medical care. I arrived an half an hour early for my appointment and the front desk staff acted like they didn’t know way I was there. They didn’t have any paperwork that the VA had sent them. I had to call the VA and gave the staff the phone. The staff asked the VA if they could resend the paperwork because they could not find it. After receiving the paperwork and discussing it for 45 minutes the office manager decided they didn’t want to work with the VA and said they could not see me. They were aware of this appointment since November 20 and even sent confirmation back to the VA. I have never felt so unwelcome as a veteran then at the office.

Very rude. I have a major medical issue going on right now and I have not spoken to my Doctor not once. And when the nurse calls she talks so fast and rushes me off of the phone. Had to go see a specialist that they referred me to and they did not send over my records. I called a day ago and asked my Doctor to please call me because of complications from this medical issue and never got a call back, when I called them again the extremely rude receptionist said we have 24-48 hours for those! Also the receptionists are all very rude when you call. I will definitely be finding another PCP as soon as possible. No compassion does not care they seem to take on more patients than they can handle for the money of course and forget that people use this service when they are sick!
