Goat Rock Trail

Cool little trail for a short hike with young kids. Awesome photo spots and views along the trail. Highly recommend

One of my favorite hikes, great views and out crops to chill at and just take in the scenery.

Very nice trail with amazing rocks along the trail. This one was hard for an old guy like me. The trail is nicely maintained but in some area is steep. Scenic views can be seen along the way. It is recommended to take proper hiking shoes and plenty of water. This hike was a challenge for me but very rewarding.

I only hike down to goat rock, but it's beautiful the entire way.

The hike was perfect for anyone with little to no trail experience. I hiked with my 68yr old dad and 7 week old baby. Easy elevation and beautiful scenery along the way. Yes, it is a bunch of trees, boulders and more trees but definitely worth it if you are into those things and appreciate what nature has to offer. There is a cool crooked pine tree along the hike worth a look too.

Good view point. U can drive all the way up here and walk around. Easy parking considering we went on a Saturday afternoon

Beautiful summit trail to an outstanding overlook, branching off of gulpha gorge trail.

Relatively easy gravel trail. Significant elevation change, but switchbacks make the grade easy to handle. Well maintained. Beautiful views. Keep in mind, when you enter Goat Rock trail at the top, you actually end up on Gulpha Gorge trail, which brings you out to the park road to walk back up to the parking area. The trail is not a loop that we could find. Also, be prepared to run into horseback riders on the trail.

Great experience. If you like burning calories this is it. Challenging!!!

Was a nice trail fairly well maintained, some people don't know how to not throw trash on the ground but it was clean for the most part. We saw deer, squirrels, doves, and an indigo bunting. Very nice.

Great trail for an early morning hike or run, before the crowds show up. Late October when it's cool is nice, but lots of leaves on the trees still somewhat block the views.

Great hike! Beautiful views. You can get to the trail by driving to the top or starting at the base of mountain if you want a longer hike.
