We've known John Howard for decades from back when he was a county commissioner. He is very knowledgeable and guided us through the entire process of selling the home where we raised our kids. When we were doing the remodel, he helped guide us in potential fixes. When the grandkids were playing ghosts trying to drive him off so we/they could keep the house, he very kindly told them that people needed homes to live in. It's a 100-year old house, so it needed a bunch of crawl space work. He kept us sane through the required repairs, and in the end helped us find a contractor to do the final work. John took our texts, calls, responded quickly and stayed calm and professional, which was important when we weren't. His office has been in place for years and has a stellar reputation.

John was great to work with! He was honest and upfront with me from the beginning, responsive to text/email/phone calls, and guided me through the process. In addition, after purchasing the home, he continued to be available as I had questions and didn't hesitate to offer recommendations when asked. You couldn't ask for a more experienced agent to guide you through the home-buying process!

We worked with Kristie Albrect recently on the purchase of both a house and a hotel in La Grande. She is very motivated and hard working as well as an excellent negotiator. She really helped us get the best deal possible on both properties.
