Doctor Slabbert and all the staff members are so helpful and considerate! I had an afternoon appointment but came in early for bloodwork. They offered me the option of doing my doctor visit while I was already there.
Doc always listens well and explains thoroughly anything I need to do to improve my life.

Great staff. Front desk, nurses, and Lab. Dr. Slabbert has been been my doctor for years. He is easy to talk to and informative. You can tell he really cares.

Visited Sparks Clinic for 2nd time today.. Will never use Dr.Dang again. it was same as 1st time. He was very rude and got angry and walked out of room to leave me waiting for 1 hour. I was about to walk out when he entered room again. He starting to tell me how in considerate of me to use my cell phone, in which I immediately ended my call when he entered the room. I tried to explain that I had an important message to relay that I had received after arriving at his office. After I explained the situation to him, he was still was very rude and abrupt. Will never use him again. His staff was very nice, friendly, and considerate. His nurse was extremely kind and helpful She should get an award for having to work with someone so rude.

This receptionist on the sick side is horrid every time I am there or even witness her interacting with other patients. Upon a trip with one of my twins, I was turned away with a condescending tone, shaming me for showing up an HOUR before they closed. “Ummmm....we’re seeing our last patient for today so, um, yeah, it’s like almost an hour before we close.

Heaven forbid we show up to a walk-in clinic well within business hours during a VERY slow afternoon, as was apparent by the single other car in the patient parking lot.

Also. I’m in absolute agreement with the above reviews of Dr. Dang.

I've been to multiple walk-in clinics due to the nature of my job and travel, and even through Sparks was the referred one in the area, I have never been to one as bad this.

I have no complaints with the staff. Most were friendly, though somewhat distracted. A couple could use some better bed-side manners, but nothing bad enough to actually note. They weren't mean. The wait time itself was relatively quick.

What was terrible was the MD on duty that I saw, Dr. Bao Dang. I don't know if this was his usual temperament, but I have never felt more rushed or disrespected. From the moment he walked in the door he gave an air of not wanting to be there, having a quickened pace and hurried speech. He asked me a few questions so quickly about my symptoms that he nearly cut off some of my answers when moving on to the next. Absolutely zero bed side manner. He had no interest in hearing what I had to say. He ran through the steps so cold and calculative it felt as if he suspected me of wanting to 'abuse the system'. Abuse how? With a sinus infection? I wasn't there asking for pain pills.

When I told him I had some antibiotics left over from last doctor about a week and a half ago, he got oddly defensive and started to question me, "How do you possibly have any left over?" Like I was 'abusing' amoxicillin. I had to explain to him that it was exactly ten days ago that I had been treated the first time, and I was given a ten day supply and I had one excess because I had forgotten to taken it on an evening when I was at a wedding. He even had to go verify my account by looking at the calendar on his computer to count the days, then seeing the truth, shrugged his shoulders and went on.

In the end, all I had done to me was a strep throat test, which came back negative. All he gave me was an allergy nose spray and some decongestant. To treat 'allergies' he said was my issue when I was suffering far worse: fevers, swollen lymph nodes, severe headaches, and unable to swallow my throat was so sore. I had to physically ask for an anti-viral for a cold sore I had gotten after the prolonged sickness, because even though he clearly saw it, he did not care enough to bother asking about it.

At the very end, he simply wrote me a script, handed it to me, and said you're finished and rushed off like he had some place to be. On my way out, I heard him sighing at one of his nurses when she asked him do to something. Note, this place wasn't busy either. There was one person waiting in that room with me. It wasn't as if he was overwhelmed with the stress of a blackflow of patients.

I'm normally not picky and am fairly laid back when it comes to bad experiences, but this was truly awful. Absolute waste of time and money. I have never been seen by a worse doctor and I've had some bad ones. I also never write reviews like this. In fact, this is my very first one. That is how bad my experience was here. I'll never be coming back to this clinic. Hell, I don't know if I'll ever go back to any sparks clinic.

In the end. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else where they'll take care of you.

I'm only giving this one star, for the ladies up front. They are very sweet. However, we will not be back to see Dr. Dang. My husband went yesterday to get tested for the flu(almost certain he has it, and we have a one year old who has yet to get his flu shot) and Dr. Dang didn't even test my husband for it, because he said "he knows he doesn't have it, he just has a bad stomach bug". I'm not even a doctor and I know that's not what it is! Wouldn't even test him for it, just to be sure, for my child's sake. We're going to another walk in today, so he can get tested. Not to mention, Dr. Dang also isn't the most pleasant person. Very disappointed with him.

I agree with the other gentleman about Dr. Dang. I felt very rushed and he did actually cut me off to answer a question for me. Other than the receptionist the staff didn’t look like they wanted to be there. The nurse that saw me in the exam room was the same as Dr. Dang. The only reason I gave this place one star is because it wouldn’t let me comment otherwise. I won’t be back and will post on other social media so people know. Hopefully Sparks will value their patients enough to address this situation but I won’t hold my breath. They probably enjoy it. More people hearded through like cattle means more money!!

The nurse, Ladonna w., screamed at me for saying hello to someone I knew for 20 plus years and when she left my room, after making me very uncomfortable with her demeanor, she slammed the door so hard I thought it might fall off the hinges. I'm scared to return for fear of what she may do.

Dr. Dang has the absolute worst bedside manner of any physician I have been in contact with, and that’s saying a lot seeings how I’m a nurse myself, so I have years of experience with physicians.. he was demeaning, condescending, arrogant, rude, and was too worried about talking over my daughter (which was the patient and she’s 8) and myself, he also decided that since my daughter had yet to receive a flu vaccination that I was not only an irresponsible nurse but also a neglectful mother, then decided to give me a lecture on being a better parent in front of my very sick child, so that’s when i took my daughter by the hand and we left in the middle of him berating me, and we will NEVER be back nor will I ever recommend friends, family, or patients to see him.. physicians like him give the medical field a bad reputation because the majority (not all) of doctors are really great, kind, and actually listen to their patients.. sad to know this is the kind of patient care Dr. Dang decides to give his patients in their time of need..
