Had a great day out on the lake in are little boat catching lots of small bass and bream. The views are amazing, and the water is very relaxing.

My visit was for a passion of photographing night scenes around the Midwest and I had been here before I believe, but during the day. The recreation area is easy to find and fully accessable. Some areas tend to close gates and assume nobody has interests after hours but this one seems open. Parking was apparent and I saw other facilities that would make this a great place to bring a family
