Cabot Physical Therapy

I had arthroscopic hip surgery at UAMS for a labral tear repair. I spent 8 weeks on crutches and spent from august to Dec in physical therapy 2-3 days a week, along with practicing my exercises at home. I went from not being able to lift my leg on my own, to mounting a horse and squatting 70 pounds by my discharge. Melissa and the team were a perfect combination of encouragement, expertise, and coaching!

I am so pleased with my experience @ Cabot Physical Therapy. I saw them due to left hip, low back and neck and shoulder pain. I had tried to walk to lose weight that I had gained but my left hip hurt so bad, I would have to stop for a few minutes before I could start back.
CPT has given me my life back. I learned exercises to help with my low back and neck and shoulder pain when they occur. I am walking again without pain.
The staff was professional, caring and knowledgeable. I will definitely see them again, if needed, in the future.

For approximately 6 months I had been struggling with debilitating shoulder pain that just kept getting worse. It had progressed to a point where it ached constantly, no matter my position or activity. I had to support my arm with several pillows at night and was getting very little sleep. I was unable to make sudden arm movements or reach across, above, or behind my body without extreme pain. I sought treatment at a chiropractor and honestly was losing hope of getting better. I attended Craig’s free shoulder workshop and learned I didn’t need a doctor referral. I scheduled an evaluation at the workshop and started therapy twice a week. The cost with my insurance was explained to me before my first appointment, and making appointments was easy. I was given numerous functional exercises I could replicate at home and have regained my active life all thanks to Jacob, Melissa, Derrick, Jack, and Craig. They work as a team and seem to enjoy working together. Sometimes things won’t get better on their own. Don’t wait to get intervention! I highly recommend this knowledgeable group at CPT. P.S. If you’re assigned the bike, ask for the one in the front room. Lol

I’ve had a wonderful experience with Cabot PT! They have helped me with a shoulder replacement, a knee replacement and with neck and shoulder pain. Everyone there is kind and caring and patient with you. Plus they care enough to stay in touch with you once your PT has been completed, making sure you are alright. They also offer various free classes regarding painful knees or shoulders or spine problems, etc. to see if they can assist in alleviating the pain. Chances are, they can!
If you need PT, you can’t go wrong in attending Cabot PT!

If you’re going to need physical therapy like I did for my total knee replacement, Cabot physical therapy is the best place to go. They treat you like family. They keep you on track to recovery. If anyone can get you back to normal it’s Cabot Physical Therapy. I believe there is no one better, Cabot Physical Therapy is the only place for me and my family. I was told after my MRI that I would need surgery on my knees. I was in pain constantly and couldn’t do a lot of activities. CPT got to work on me and within weeks I was back to normal activities and am pain free with no surgery! They are awesome!

Loved Cabot PT so much that I drove from Holland! Everyone was so knowledgeable and friendly. In six weeks my shoulder was pain free again! Highly recommend them!

I had a knee replacement and came to Cabot Physical Therapy. The staff is great and they all get along so well together. They are professional but personable. They cheer you on at every milestone you reach and & encourage you when you don’t. I would definitely recommend them if you need PT.

In January I had my right knee replaced. I needed a rehab facility that would push me so I could recover asap. I picked Cabot Physical Therapy and that was a great choice. They pushed me and even though it was hard I recovered faster than I anticipated. Everyone I had contact with at CPT was great and helpful. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs PT

I found out about Cabot PT from their Facebook post on a knee class. It was a free consultation, so why not?
I went to my first visit and was amazed at the knowledge this team had on how our knees should work.
They listened to everything I said and we started from there.
I gave them my goal to avoid knee replacement and get off pain meds. They explained to me knee surgery is some times necessary but we would give their exercises a try.
They started me out with small exercises but quickly I built up to much harder exercises.
They gave me a list of exercises to do at home in between visits and I did them.
Result: I am walking so much better!
I will never be running a marathon but that wasn’t my goal. I simply wanted to avoid knee surgery and have a better more flexible life style.
Thank you to all the team for their help in accomplishing my goal. I no longer walk with my cane and move so much better. Very rarely do I even take ibuprofen.
I plan on visiting about once a month to stay on course.

I can’t say enough good things about this group! To sum it up, I’ve never been seen by a medical professional where I truly felt like 100% of the time they actually wanted me better. Here you will get that. If physical therapy is ever needed again, this is where I will choose.

Cabot Physical Therapy has an awesome first class group of PT”s. very friendly and professional staff. I was not looking forward to rehab after surgery to replace my right shoulder, but after my first session they eased my anxiety. They got me back to tip top shape in no time without pain. Thanks to Craig, Jack, Derek , Melissa and all the front office staff for making my rehab a tolerable and fun experience for the second time!!!! The location of Cabot Physical Therapy is convenient and the appointment times worked with my schedule. The staff from the office to the therapist are fantastic, polite, caring and focused. Every visit at CPT made me feel like part of a family.
The therapists work with you to identify the issues and prescribe the best physical therapy for your needs and abilities. They give you a great explanation of treatment and help with pinpointing problem areas as well as exercise to overcome issues.
I was going to need a knee replacement. My Orthopedic Surgeon sent me to CPT for gaining strength in my knee. The therapists worked with me to my potential. I not only improved on strength in my knee but also balance. My knee improved with every visit at CPT. At this time, I am not needing knee replacement surgery. If I do need knee replacement, the physical therapy will be done at CPT. These people are wonderful! I would definitely recommend Cabot Physical Therapy.

I really enjoyed my time with CPT. I am doing 90-95% better than when I walked in.. Mainly because I need to stay on top of the home exercises and likely have arthritis in my shoulder joints. I am not in pain all the time like I was so that is A+. All the therapists are great and quite honestly I will miss seeing them each week.

Cabot Physical Therapy is the best! The staff is awesome and truly cares about getting you back to where you need to be. I have seen Cabot PT for three different medical issues and have walked each time pain free. I highly recommend Cabot PT, they are the best!!!

CPT is absolutely the BES! I had a torn rotator cuff and now it’s so much better I’m not facing surgery! I wanted to keep going, a great group to work with that make you feel like family! Love them all!🧡🧡

Thankful that the folks at Cabot Physical Therapy were able to help me get a better understanding of stretching activities and some things that I need to do regularly to gain improved strength in my knees. Had not realized just what kind of toll the last couple of years of reduced activity has had on my body...my knees in particular.

Excellent care by a caring staff to be sure that I got as good as possible. I really like the way everyone pitched in to help my progress and be sure my time was productive. If I have any more needs, I will definitely return. I recommend this clinic to anyone experiencing limitations in their physical activities.

The treatments were a huge help to me. I went with severe pain in my left foot and in my lower back. The exercises led to relief immediately and that relief increased with the additional treatment sessions. The staff members are very friendly and helpful. I would encourage anyone with pain that might be due to skeletal or muscular issues to at least consult with Cabot Physical Therapy before agreeing more invasive medical treatments.
