Called to see if they accept walk ins since I’m not from the area and the answer was yes. I get there & sign in I wanted a pedi & nail dip w/tip; they had me sit at a nail station and after 35 mins, I asked, can you give me an estimate as to how long, oh just a little while. The shop had 3 customers they were servicing. I changed my request to the nails only. About 5 mins later someone come from the back and took care of me and after the nails were done, the tech asked, you want pedicure. I said absolutely not. I paid with a tip. Once the tech started, the service was good, but they are too slow. Small town population less than 5K ppl…

The young tech that done my pedicure done an ok job…They left my hands soaking in acetone for an hour and a half…The nail tech cut one of my cuticles with something that she wasn’t even supposed to be using on my cuticles, literally until it bled… She didn’t buff my nails before she painted them…She didn’t oil my cuticles after she had the nerve to cut my cuticles to death and make my finger bleed…I had to ask her several times to use the device to remove the excess acrylic from under my nails, and she still tried doing it with her fingers instead…The way my fingers look in the photo is exactly how she was satisfied with leaving them as she got up to move on to the next person…
$100 later for nails and toes, the only good thing they done was paint them right…
I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO DISAPPOINTED IN MY LIFE WITH A NAIL SHOP OR ABOUT NAIL
TECHS…
I WONT EVER GO BACK 😡

The staff was nice! I got French tips but my thumbs were completely different and not the same size. They were already starting to fall off by Tuesday and got them done Monday. So now I’m prom with Jacked up nails.

If I could I would give 0 stars. I got there and they told me to take a picture of the specific nail polish I wanted . Why should I when they are basically there. I told them my phone didn’t take pictures and the young lady responded that it was okay when ever they start doing my nails they will look at the polish I wanted (what’s wrong with them getting up and looking at the color or us taking it to them and showing them) I have never gone to a nail salon and get asked for pictures unless you have your own idea. Then that rude young lady gets up and she gets in front of my daughter and I and ask if both of our phones don’t take pictures with an attitude like if it’s her business which was after she said that she’d get up and see the polish I wanted .. I got out after waiting for about 45 minutes there and of course I did mention I would leave a bad review,
my daughter had also been before and had a bad experience with them too, she said while the same young lady was doing her nails she aggressively snatched her hand and hurt her nail but she didn’t want to make a scene, it is unacceptable and like I said if I could leave 0 stars I would !!

I have never in my life been more disappointed with the service at city nails, to the point I walked out crying. Not only was she rough, but glued on the acrylics crooked. Left my hands purple from the gel, and after I pointed it out and asked her to fix it she told me it would just “peel off”. I am extremely disappointed, upset, and embarrassed of my nails.

Cut me multiple times and was very slow service! Doesn’t know how to work the card machine and made us pay extra. They look fine I’m just not very happy with the service they gave me!
