An excellent, upscale casual dining experience in small town Arkansas. My Wife and I enjoyed a date night dinner here on a Friday night. We arrived at 5:30pm and were promptly seated with no wait. I ordered the ribeye and my wife ordered the pork chop. We both ordered our entrees cooked medium, and they were both cooked to perfection. Both entrees were very well seasoned. Both the pork chop and ribeye was tender and flavorful. Sides were equally delicious. Dessert consisted of chocolate cake and carrot cake. Both were phenomenal. Service was prompt and professional. This was our first time at Grumpy Rabbit and will certainly not be our last. One of our best dining experiences in our 20+ years of marriage.

I was headed from New Jersey to Texas. After a very long car ride we stopped for the night. I will say you do not expect this restaurant to be where it is and quite frankly everything it is. On a street that looks like days gone by is a gem of a restaurant. Service/server was excellent. The food was fresh and you could taste every bite of flavor. A little more salmon on the salad would have made for a perfect salad but the size of the carrot cake made up for it.

What a fantastic place. Great old building architecture. Eclectic decor... Would love to sit with owner and discuss that. It is fantastic.

Food off the charts and the staff extremely helpful and friendly.

The Grumpy Rabbit? More like the Friendly & Delicious Rabbit! We were greeted warmly at the door, and I immediately loved the vibe. Their logo is so cute!

My group ordered sandwiches as it was late lunch: chicken salad, reuben, and patty melt. Everybody enjoyed their sandwiches and fries. They were so good. The meat for the patty melt was cooked perfectly; next time I’d like to try their burger. The fries definitely passed my test as I’m super picky. We couldn’t stop eating them.

The service was TOP NOTCH. Our waitress was lovely & answered any question we had. We definitely will come back to try out their dinner menu!

P.S. If you’re always grading the restaurants’ bathrooms like I do, their bathrooms get an A+.

What a great hidden gem of a restaurant.

Smashed tator tots, very good. I was overzealous with my burger choice and added an extra patty, couldn't eat it all.
Steak was cooked very well. There were a few tough spots of gristle areas.

Only kinda bummer was the side salad, just some lettuce , few halved tomatoes, fine shredded carrots in a soup bowl for $5. Seems a little steep for barely handful of lettuce and spinach, no homemade croutons, pecans,Blu cheese, etc.

I'd also call. It seems they changed the menu up a lot. Most of what is on the website/ Google wasn't on the menu. At least the most suggested.

Great place for a bite if you don't want to mess with Downtown Little Rock

Had a really great dinner Friday night at the Grumpy Rabbit. This was our first time. The atmosphere was much trendier than I was expecting. We sat upstairs in a really funky booth. Our server Nikki was really friendly and recommended the meatloaf, which I had. It was a huge portion very tender middle with that perfect outer crust. It was served with mashed which were just ok and not hot along with fried okra that were hot and delicious. I took home leftovers from both entrees. My partner had the blackened Alfredo. For a starter we had the spicy spinach cheese dip, not a fan. It was the only downside to the meal, It was think as if it was the bottom of the pot, not nuch spice abs the chips had that stale texture like they had been sitting around. We also took home carrot cake that was amazing. There is also a full bar with some fun cocktails and local beer. The owner Gigi was around and hit every table. Very pleasant and welcoming. She told us about the goldfish. Even remembered where we came from when saying good bye and drive safe home. Even if the food was no good, and it was great we would go back just for her. We also decided upstairs was the place to sit. As we left a few tables were sat downstairs and it ‘em seemed awkward as the door is right there and people coming in past you to get sat. Highly recommend.

Wow! I'm in love with this restaurant! The food and service are exceptional. The lunch menu has a wide variety of foods to choose from. Our waitress was so nice and friendly and helpful. She made sure we were taken care of. Our food also came out quick and it was super fresh and tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant to others. We will definitely be coming back for more tasty food. Thank you so very much.

Staff was absolutely amazing. From
Hostess, waitress, bartender, to manager - these people are trained well.

Atmosphere is clean, bright, and beautiful with many options for seating.

Drinks were great. I had the Bloody Mary and it was a good zing zangs mix.

Tater tot appetizer is wonderful. I ordered the blackened redfish. I will order it without salt next time as it is VERY salty. My son ordered the same dish and it was salty as well. Nothing wrong with it but I would order without salt and salt to taste next time. My daughter ordered the pickle brine chicken sandwich and it was wonderful. My wife ordered the mango pork chop and it was a little undercooked but was addressed by the manager quickly. It was still undercooked but she said she will specify well done next time.

Desserts were outstanding. Total bill for 4 alcohol drinks, 1 appetizer, 4 entrees, and 3 desserts was $250 before tip. Pricey but worth it. Again, I would order without salt as some of the other reviews have said their food was too salty as well. Still a 5 star experience and we will go back.

I've been coming here since last year when I first started at LES. My family and I have since moved to Lonoke, and the Grumpy Rabbit is always a must-visit! The few occasions that we've met Ms. Gina, she is the sweetest woman and very caring of her community. The staff here is amazing! Everyone is so nice and welcoming like you're walking into their home. Kevin, the night manager, always has a smile on his face and is always making folks smile! The environment is awesome as well. The ambiance is welcomingly retro but modern as well. The upstairs dining area is a hidden gym.
Now...the food. The ribeye is always perfect. The burger is one of the best in the state. They have something for everyone. all around! Best hidden gym in Arkansas!

WOW!! What a gem of a place. We were traveling from Tennessee to Texas from vacation and happened to land here for lunch. I have small children and this was a very kid friendly environment, the provided coloring books and rubber duckies for the kids, so cute and sweet. Our waitress was really awesome in giving us the best service possible. I explored the whole restaurant and it was so cute and fun. Very clean place. We ordered several things of the menu to experience more food and everything was phenomenal. Highly recommend this place.

Phillip was great upstairs. Black-eyed pea hummus was very tasty with warm pita pieces. Had the impossible burger and fries and was awesome, with fries just right. My wife loves her omelette. We didn't leave room for carrot cake but will return for it soon.

I can not say enough great things about this establishment. I'm just gonna say it is a mood, especially after dark. First off, the restoration, use of space, and division of this place is very very well done. The hostess could use a little more room for people when they walk in awaiting to be seated but space restraints are what they are. The food is FANTASTIC. It is all well proportioned with high quality ingredients and well worth the larger city price. The staff are amazing and you can tell they like what they do. The decor is very pleasing and the choices for seating areas are phenomenal. The outdoor-upstairs and downstairs- balcony eating areas would be a great place for a wedding rehearsal dinner with plenty of places for some swoon worthy photography or even senior pics (check out those staircases). If you haven't checked out the Grumpy Rabbit, you are missing out. I promise if you enter feeling hangry or GRUMPY, you won't be when you leave!

We stopped here for dinner on a long trip. I had the lettuce wedge with broiled salmon. The toppings for the lettuce were unique and tasty. The salmon was very moist and equally delicious. My husband had the redfish and cheese grits. He ate every bite. They served a roasted carrot with my husband’s meal which we were very skeptical about, but it was great! The service was excellent. In fact, we were in and out in 40 minutes. Our servers were very attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend.

We stopped here again and once more, they did not disappoint. The blackened redfish and salmon were amazing. We had the black eyed pea hummus which was great with a kick.

Dropped by based on Google reviews and was not disappointed. Fairly funky place for a small town. We both had the meatloaf which was made with high quality meat, not the typical high fat hamburger. A little spicy for my taste, but still strongly recommend.

We were seated in frontroom, but would have preferred upstairs. You need to ask to be seated up there.

Worth the detour off the highway.

We were very weary from a 12 hr day of travel. We went in 5 minutes before closing and they seated us! They did not make us feel rushed at all. The front has an amazing fish aquarium. The rest of the restaurant was bright and lots of hard surfaces so it was a little noisy The meat loaf was outstanding. Tomato / ketchup cover not gravy. It was tender and moist and light. The macaroni was pretty classic and cheesy but not too rich. We really enjoyed the fried okra. We are from the Pacific NW so it was a nice change from our normal veggie choices. The staff and owner were amazing and friendly and helpful. What a great find in a town we knew nothing about!

WELL WORTH the stop, that is approximately 2.5 miles south of the interstate, the service is fast, friendly and efficient. The menu we were given, seemed a bit limited but the food was delicious! They also have a drink menu. This modern twist on history, offers an array of colors that make for a delightful meal and a hip environment in this muti-level building with dining on all three levels.

This is quite possibly one of the best little small town family based dinners I've ever been fortunate to patron. We arrived right as they were swapping over to lunch from breakfast. The server was just very nice. She was keeping up as well as could be expected for being the only server there. She explained the specials and didn't hover over there in every

Wow! Great place, would highly recommend. Jump off of I-40 and get some wonderful food at this restaurant.

Cassie was the best server, so personable and provided great service!

Had the soup and sandwich, both tasted awesome. Food came out fast and the chef did a fabulous job. Also went for the speciality carrot cake which was the bomb! Yum

This should truly become a favorite for the locals.

Thanks for a wonderful experience while traveling across the country.

Wonderful place in downtown Lonoke. Great service and an excellent chef on duty! The Oktoberfest four course meal with a flight of beer from a local Little Rock brewery was the perfect birthday present from my beautiful daughter! Excellent!!
