J's Place Sports Grill

This was our first time to visit, and since they already had some pretty good Google reviews, we decided to try it. We were not disappointed! The service was very friendly, the food was great and reasonably priced, and the atmosphere (even the bathrooms) was very clean and interesting.

Only a couple of mild annoyances: the fries were hot and delicious but oversalted, and the very small bowl of queso was $8.99! (Say what?!?)

Other than just those minor things, I HIGHLY recommend this place for good food at reasonable prices, and if we're ever back in Cabot, we would choose to dine here again.

Great people with a matching environment!!! Brittany is the manager/bar tender and does a great job and has no problem remembering what you ordered!!! Chips and salsa with your drink!!! Absolutely!!!

Had wings and Chipotle ranch tacos. Wings were large and well prepared. Ordered a mixed chicken and steak on the tacos. Both were cooked well and tasted great. Steak and chicken were both cubed instead of shredded which I like better. Prices were very reasonable. Inside could use a little love but visit was overall enjoyable and would return.

This is my second visit. My first was on a day they closed early, and I didn't get to try it. Today, I stopped in and practically had to roll out the door to leave. This burrito was huge! And reasonably priced to boot. Most places say they put guacamole on something. These guys actually do. My server was running nearly everywhere. Actually running. They were on top of it.

Great little place to go. The food was great & it came out fast. The service was friendly & helpful; always checking in even after check was given. The prices wasn't that bad either. I highly recommend giving them a chance.

the creamy baked potato was absolutely amazing! the best potato i have ever had in my entire life!! the chicken, cheese, and potatoes goes PERFECT together.

Definitely a great menu for everyone! I've had almost everything on the menu and literally it all was great. This place makes it hard to drive by without stopping in. The Chef is so nice and his food is excellent. Very great staff & the atmosphere is fantastic.

This was my second time here and it was amazing again! We had the same great server Britney and she remembered us too! The food is amazing, service amazing and I love the atmosphere! Definitely my new spot!

Update*** This place was juat a hole in the wall the last time I tried it. I was told that I needed to give them another shot so I did and I am happy to say I was very satisfied this go around. The tacos were good, the beer was cold, looks like they finally pulled it all together. I will certainly be back again.

This is just a bar with bar food.... Its fills the spot when everything else is busy but it still has a long way to go if they are even trying to take this serious.

We were in the area around early lunch on a Tuesday, so I found them on Google. Nice rustic feel. We got burgers, they were delicious and use high quality buns. The price wasn't bad either.

Jay's make a great cheeseburger and I love their fries. They have some GREAT ribs and their nachos are pretty solid. We love eating at Jay's and hope they are here for the long haul! Updating this review as we eat here frequently. Jay's has an AWESOME burrito, good salsa and their queso is delicious! If you haven't eaten here yet...you're missing out! Updating again, food is still delicious and never disappoints. They went through a rough patch with being open/closed at odd times, but that seems to be lined out now. Overall, J's always nails it with the food and atmosphere!

Google keeps asking me to update, so I'll update again. I believe they have gotten passed their short staff woes and they are hitting on all cylinders. Wait staff is awesome and food is still fantastic!

Very friendly staff and excellent food.

The food was great! Server’s were friendly and attentive. The manager cares about staff and works with them when having personal issues. Although when I was there the other night there was a woman upset the refused to serve her more beer and said she was going to ruin them on fb or TikTok. She was obviously not needing more alcohol and yelling she wasn’t going to pay for her beers she’d already consumed. This is not the norm here tho. Definitely coming back!

Very nice place. I had the cheeseburger and fries and it was good so I will return. They need to serve root beer though. Waitress was friendly and checked on me a few times to make sure all was good.
