Logan and Trey went above and beyond. I was nervous to let somebody else drive my truck for the shuttle service. On our way down to get into get our canoe my truck got stuck in the rocks, Logan and Trey said don’t worry about it. You guys can go float we will tow it out and have it ready for you at the pick up location. They didn’t know I was watching them. The hitch they brought wouldn’t work so they left to get a hitch that would. They were very professional they didn’t damage my truck. I didn’t have to pay for a tow service company nor did they charge extra. I was extremely impressed and will be back again because of Logan and Trey. They improved the total experience. Hope they get a shout out for this review or a raise they deserve it!

Did a 5.5 mile kayak trip with my boyfriend. Loved the location and scenery the Buffalo River had to offer. Staff was nice and fast getting us checked in and offered a service to move our vehicle to our pull out point. Water was really low when we went unfortunately, but it was still a great time! I was surprised at how many people were kayaking, canoeing, or camped up along the river banks. Really cool activity!

I called Buffalo River Outfitters for information about river levels and shuttle service, not realizing they were not in the area where my family will be kayaking. Not only did they answer my questions, they recommended a different outfitter in the area I will be. They helped when they didn't have to and I think that deserves recognition. Thank you!

My friends and I traveled up to the Buffalo for a Saturday float trip. The weather & water levels were perfect, so of course they were very busy, but everything went super smooth. We waited and booked the Wednesday before (so we could get a good sense of the weather) & they still had a lot of availability for that Saturday. We floated from Bakers Ford to Grinder’s Ferry (about a 4-hour float that took us 5 hours with very minimal effort and a couple stops to eat and relax). We rented the 5-7 person raft with 5 people & there was plenty of room for us & all of our stuff. We did the vehicle shuttle and it was so nice to have our car there and ready to go once we were done. This is the perfect place to go, especially coming from Little Rock, where the drive is < 2 hours. Will definitely be returning!

This outfitter has an amazing staff that took the time to tell us about all the great places to eat in the area, all the beautiful hikes, and were extremely pet friendly. Our canoe experience was amazing. We went from Tyler’s Bend to Gilbert. Even though we went in March, we stayed nice and warm. The water levels were perfect. I cannot express in a review how amazing the cabin was. Hideaway Hollow was beautiful, well stocked with necessities. Also, pet friendly and surrounded by woods for a nice walk when the weather allowed. Will definitely be coming back!

Great floating service with cabins too. We floated with BRO from Tyler Bend to Gilbert. The staff was very friendly, informative and knowledgeable. Eager to help. Our float in late July was so awesome, the river was was low but still floatable. I will only float with BRO!!!

Five stars all the way! My friends and I were not sure what to expect because we had not rented a cabin before, but we were blown away by our cozy cabin! Arrowhead Hollow has high vaulted ceilings with air and heat as well as a fire place. There is a fridge, coffee pot, pots pans, spatulas and silverware were provided. Only thing we forgot were coffee filters! There was a full size bed tucked in an alcove by the bathroom (with a lovely shower, soap, shampoo, towels and cloths!), up the stairs there is a cozy loft with two more full size beds. The service provided went above and beyond what we expected and the whole experience combined the best of both camping and renting a cabin-all the luxuries of home in a warm in a cozy nook without freezing your buns off in a tent! Plus, you are right by the beautiful aqua blue waters of the Buffalo River and all its sites and trails. I would definitely recommend and we are planning renting again soon!

Floated with them last weekend. Ice available on site. Clean canoes. Very polite & helpful staff. You drive yourself to the start point & they move your vehicles to your finish point & handle picking up & returning your canoes. ABSOLUTELY dog friendly (our favorite!) It was really great! 2. Friendly and knowledge folks operating BRO; good gift shop items in their store.
3. Cabins are nice, though they could use some TLC, especially for the nightly rates. The price is mostly based on location, location, location. Still comfortable, though.

We did the one day float where they shuttle your vehicle for you. We actually had a really great time however….If you happen to drive a diesel truck with a tuner…TURN ON VALET MODE or else these kids will turn it all the way up while having a good time at your expense. We specifically had mine turned down only to realize it had been turned ALL the way up

Durant General Manager at Buffalo River Outfitters will go over your wants or needs and custom tailor a trip plan for you. Extremely professional Outfitter they will get you in and out whether it's a afternoon trip or many days of river travel. Call or stop by you'll find prices are very reasonable for the 5 Star service.

Love this place great staff work there also. Bufflo river is an amazing spot for float trip. Nice and calm water. Had a wonderful Scenic experience on the river with! Thanks for the quick reservations and accommodations! Beautiful spots and love it!!!

We have stayed at the same cabin with Buffalo River Outfitters for five summers now and we always look forward to coming back. The cabin is not only adorable, but always clean and well-maintained. The staff is super sweet and very responsive to any questions or concerns. We had an issue connecting to WIFI during one visit and they had someone come out to fix it within 10 minutes of us letting them know. During our last visit we accidentally left a couple of personal items behind in the cabin and didn't realize until we got home. We called BRO to let them know about the issue and they kindly offered to ship the items to us. Highly recommend this company to anyone staying near this area of the Buffalo River.

I stayed a week. Moved twice because I called for a reservation last minute. I lucked out. Jennifer accommodated me. I got to experience two different cabins. Both had jacuzzi tubs big enough for two. I loved that. Very relaxing. Cabins included everything I needed. Very tranquil. Two miles to Buffalo river. I was not disappointed. Highly recommend this place.

Best place to rent canoes, the desk staff are very helpful. Quaint gift shop, and don’t even get me started on the absolute HUNKS hauling the canoes. Had a great time chatting and getting to know the gentleman that helped me. Apparently he’s “happily married” but that didn’t stop me from snapping this quick pic when he was driving us back. I’ll return for more paddling!

This has got to be the best place in AR to canoe or Kayak renting for them was so easy we were able to book over the phone in just minutes they answered all of our questions and gave us a lot of useful information about the surrounding area. They say they are pet friendly and boy are they everyone was very nice to our pup and they gave him a treat it was so sweet of them to think of him too. We went down to the water picked out our own canoe which they were all very nice and well maintained. The river had lots of neat spots to stop along the way little beaches at what not. At the end it was simple as pulling it up on the bank and locating our keys which were exactly where we asked the staff to leave them. This was a great experience and we will be so happy to go here again!

Staff is great and we always have fun. Shuttle service is great and always reliable. I made the mistake of leaving my smart watch strapped to my canoe when we left. Tracked it and it was still on the canoe! Called and they found it and shipped it back to me. Outstanding!

Friendly service, didnt stay but rented a canoe here and had a blast:) ... our 4th time there from Mississippi:)
