We stayed at the Buffalo River Ozark campground- great place to unwind and get away. No cell service out here, and it is at the end of a steep embankment, so no trailers recommended, more of a tent campground, my family really loved it!!

I floated the upper Buffalo in 2021 and the lower in 2022 and both were lovely. That said, I prefer the upper Buffalo. It’s more picturesque and takes you past the must-see Hemmed-in Hollow, which was worth the mile or so hike from the shore. I should say the hollow is only worth the hike if it’s been raining in recent days and weeks as it will become a trickle or non-existent during dry stretches.

Driving from Branson, MO to Little Rock, AR, we stopped to do a some rock hounding. Beautiful scenery and plenty of rock specimens worthy of tumbling! Buffalo National River - nature at its best!

Nice place. It was raining, so didn't get to explore outside. There was a lot of interesting exhibits to enjoy inside welcome center

Beautifully peaceful river. Calm float most of the time with some small "rapids" thrown in to keep things exciting. If you're looking for a good trip for an inexperienced group this is the one.

It's the most scenic river in NWA. The Buffalo River is gorgeous, amazing views, rock formation, crystal clear, fresh water, and beautiful places to stop along the way. If you like to kayak, canoe, hike, fish, or camp, make this the #1 on the list!

I had an incredible experience canoeing on the Buffalo River in Arkansas! The bluffs were absolutely breathtaking, and the crystal-clear water was refreshing, albeit chilly and frigid. While there were some treacherous parts of the river, the experience overall was unforgettable.

One thing to note is that it's important to check the rain level of the river, as it can impact the quality of canoeing. However, we were lucky to encounter large red-eared sliders turtles on our journey, which made the trip even more special.

The other canoers we encountered were friendly, and there were plenty of places to pull our canoe out of the water to take a break or explore the beautiful scenery around us. It was a great experience to share with my family.

We chose to take our canoes out at Kyle's Landing, which was a fantastic spot to end our journey. Overall, I highly recommend canoeing on the Buffalo River to anyone looking for an adventure in nature with stunning views.

Pulled off Hwy 65 onto GrindersFerry dirt road down to the smooth-rock beach and took the kayak for a spin around a few bends. Nice place for a picnic stop on the way to Branson.

The Buffalo River represents my whole upbringing. I've spent all of my life from camping to hiking to fishing to swimming and also spending quality time with my loved ones here...she never disappoints.

Great place to hang out with my sons. Also, great for family history! My great grandpa lived here many moons ago.

Excellent day with 4 dogs. The ladies at the visitor center helped us know which hikes to go on and also directed us to other places where the dogs could play. It was so beautiful and we had such a nice time.

After descending down a steep twisty road for a few miles, we broke out into the valley floor. Great views of the cliffs. Lots of camping places including many sites for camping with horses. Dog friendly too. Looked like lots of trails. Quiet and spectacular.
