Courseys Smoked Meats

Literally the best thick cut smoked bacon I've ever eaten. A wide variety of meats and cheeses. Snack bags of smoked cheese and turkey on the counter next to the register were fantastic. Kids loved them.

We have stopped here for many, many years as we travel 65 to my parents. It is so yum!! As of May 2022, the hours are currently 10-3:30 every day except Tuesday and Wednesday and the sandwich counter is still closed. The meat and cheese is so flavorful and fresh!

Best smoked meats around, family owned and operated doing things just like they have always creating fantastic smoked meats. The bacon is thick and delicious, we stop every time when we pass through and order for shipment at least twice per year.

Best place to grab lunch meat or just have them ship it to your place! GREAT customer service and they have a full staff behind the counter to help every customer, quickly and efficiently!

If you're wondering if this is a place to stop, wonder no more. This place has hands the best sandwiches I've ever had. You get a choice of ham or turkey, smoked cheddar or swiss, and for bread it's white or wheat. And there is nothing else. They have some mayo or mustard if you need it. If you want a fancy Nancy place with a million options and all kinds of unnecessary stuff on your sandwich, this place isn't for you. Also, you don't deserve this food.

They have canned sodas, and bags of chips. There's nowhere to sit except a few random picnic tables. But I'd rather eat this amazingness in my car than any other food in a fancy comfortable restaurant. You might also want to bring a cooler and buy some of their meat by the pound. And don't forget a pound of their bacon. It cannot be beat.

Always great to stop in and see our old friends at Coursey's!!!! One would have to search for and wide to find better smoked meats and cheeses - all sliced to YOUR specifications and wrapped "old-school" in butcher paper. If you haven't been there yet, make it a point to stop by and get your load of country smoked ham, turkey, sausage, cheese or any of the other great offerings.

I’ve eaten bacon from National Contest winners and it is pale in comparison to Coursey’s bacon. I have been buying bacon fro Coursey’s for over 50 years. When my tomatoes are ripe I head to Coursey’s and buy several pounds. It so happens my birthday is in July and it makes the perfect gift from my wife. Always worth the scenic drive. The meats and cheeses are the best. Very friendly staff who get your order ready in a snap! I do miss the on-the-spot, handmade sandwiches eaten sitting at the picnic table beneath the trees… maybe again one day.

We have stopped there every year for the last 20 years every time we go to the family reunion. Always buy extra so we can bring it home and stick it in the freezer and enjoy the smell of vacation all year round! Hehehe
They never disappoint with the smoked meats! If you want smoked cheese, get there early. They sell out of that quick and in a hurry!

My husband and I I’ve been going their 35 years while Traveling from Little Rock to Kansas City will pick up so I’m going in some coming out. My mother-in-law loved it and so did we. Pick some bacon up last October & patiently waiting on next month to get here. Lol

It always feels like Christmas or my birthday when I get to have bacon or ham. Mmmmm...baaaaaaconnnnnn...

Best bacon on the planet. I have also had the summer sausage, venison sausage and smoked cheddar. All of them were excellent. Ate lunch there a few weeks back and the sandwich was massive (and delicious). If you like smoked meats, this is the best available. The folks who served us were super friendly and welcoming. I am fortunate to only live a couple of hours away.

We stop every time we go by if they are open (sometimes we come through too late). They make the best smoked turkey or ham sandwiches and we always pick up a few pounds of the best bacon we've ever had. Of course it's a little more expensive than what you buy in the store but it is by far worth it! LOVE THEIR SMOKED MEATS

Best sandwiches I've ever had. Great bacon and jerky. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Great people and food. Truly one of those places you just have to try to understand how AMAZING it really is. I never thought I would LOVE a simple sandwich/meat shop so much.

We get some Courseys Smoked bacon every year for Christmas from my fiancé's grandmother. She ships all the way up here to us in bitter cold Minnesota. It is the best bacon we've ever had, and we look forward to it every year. This year we baked some of the best quiche ever and shared it with friends and family, who couldn't get over the smokey bits of bacon inside. Thank you, Courseys!

I’ve stopped here for about 30 years every trip I take to see my grandma. She introduced it to me way back when. I keep several packages of bacon in my freezer at all times. Their sandwiches are amazing.

I have never been, myself, so I can't comment on the store, but my mom used to bring us pounds of their bacon and smoked cheddar when she would go to visit family back in Arkansas and we savor every.last.bit of that bacon!!! I've never been so protective of meat, but we have to determine if an occasion is special enough to use some of the Coursey's bacon or if we can just make do with store-bought. Best bacon I have ever had.
