**UPDATED REVIEW**

The owner reached out to me and I spoke with Kyle in regards to what happened. He was very polite and completely sincere in his apology for the whole situation. He spoke with me for a bit and relayed to me that he personally reviewed what happened himself and made sure that the appropriate actions were taken (nothing harsh mind you, just a simple and clean resolution). As I stated in my original review, this is a great gas station and I can now say with confidence that the owners really take pride in making sure it stays that way.

Overall I was very impressed with how quickly and respectfully this was resolved. I will leave my original review below for context but I am glad that everything was able to be worked out by all parties involved.

**Original review below**

This used to be my go to gas station but unfortunately I will never return due to the way I was treated the last time I was in there (Friday night, Nov. 9th)

To be fair, this review is not about the gas station itself as the quality of the facility is fine and that hasn't changed as far as I am concerned. This review is in regards to management and how a situation was handled.

I had gone into the PDQ with a few friends of mine on Friday night to purchase a few drinks/snacks and we were all wearing jackets due to the cold weather (shocking I know).

We hadn't been in the store for more than five minutes or so when one of the cashiers abruptly approached me from out of nowhere and demanded that I take my hands out of my pockets. I was surprised but immediately thought that they were uncomfortable because we where wearing black jackets with our hands in our pockets so I could see where they might be coming from (I still think there was a better way to approach us if that was the case).

Not to cause any trouble I did as he asked but was met with this response, "My manager saw you pick some things up and figured you were stealing."

At this point I'm obviously furious at being accused of stealing and in such a point blank manner. Now I'm not ignorant, I know theft likely occurs often and they don't know who I am (even though I come in there regularly) but to sic your cashier "guard dog" on me was completely out of line.

Even though I was upset at being falsely accused of stealing, a simple apology would have gone a long way. Instead all of the cashiers wouldn't even look me in the face when I brought this up and the manager slinked out without acknowledging me at all.

I went up to the counter and told the cashier (respectfully) that I was not happy with how that was handled and that it was very upsetting to me since I have been a regular customer for years and didn't so much as receive an apology even though they were wrong. Again, he wouldn't even turn his head to look at me and all he mumbled was, "Just doing what my manager told me to man".

This review may come off whiny but I feel very strongly about this. I refuse to give my business to anyone who is willing to not only aggressively accuse patrons of stealing, but who also won't acknowledge and apologize when they have made a mistake.

Bottom line is that while this gas station is a fine establishment and a good place to get gas/drinks/snacks, it has a coward for a manager.
