Retro Roasts

I am one of those people who used to visit Higher Grounds every time I came to Russellville. I was so glad to find Retro Roasts, truly reminiscent of a golden oldie. The odd part is I am not a fan of coffee. Please don't discredit my review if you are or avoid visiting if you aren't. They had a nice selection of hot teas available. Seasonally they also offered hot chocolate. It was hard to believe all the options for hot chocolate. I went with dark chocolate with half and half and whip cream. Guess I was feeling decadent. It was a hard decision when one of the other choices was white chocolate with cinnamon and almond milk. What a pleasure to find a hot chocolate superior to Starbucks at a lower price. OH, the scones and other dessert choices to have with it.
You might want to get their for some Christmas shopping. They have a coffee candle all the time but for now they have a vanilla mint with a little coffee on the top. In fact with the variety of small gifts they offer you might need to pick up an anytime, anyone gift.. certificate.
If you have time, check out the upstairs.

Very cool and eclectic coffee spot in growing downtown area. Great service and coffee. Right night door to a book store, perfect pair for a great afternoon.

Lovely staff and excellent coffee. Just dropped in randomly as the sign caught my eye. Nice decor and chilled atmosphere. I imagine it would be a great place to meet friends and chat.

This is my first visit to Retro Roasts and it did not disappoint! Retro Roasts was recommended to me by a family member, an absolute coffee aficionado, so I had to visit. The staff was extremely helpful in guiding my purchase of ground coffee and was an absolute pleasure to talk to. Of course as a result of my pleasant conversation and the atmosphere I had to purchase myself espresso, and it was amazing! I hope to revisit soon when the coffee roaster is in operation to admire the electronic sensor setup and speak with the coffee nut roasting the sweet beans that makes an even better brew; you cannot bring someone who loves vintage, coffee, and electronics in to Retro Roasts without them falling in love. I absolutely recommend Retro Roasts for the coffee and the bakery nearby (B Street Bakery) for the desert... Match made in heaven!

Love this place!!! Stop through often traveling between Little Rock and Fort Smith. Staff is best in class and so is their coffee (and so is the indie bookstore next-door!).

Excellent coffee, delightful staff, great space & ambience. Perfect for grabbing a treat while you shop downtown, or if you need a place to read or work. Plenty of outlets, nice seating, great book selection. Great music mix at a good volume. All in all, great to see a place like this in Russ.

Had a giftcard here so we gave it a try and it was well worth it. Great coffee for sure and they were so wonderful in customer service as my 5 year old ordered a hot chcolate and every parent's worry is it is going to burn their mouths, but the lady who made it made it a warm temp perfect for him to drink without any complications.

Met a friend at Retro Roasts for a visit, and was very pleased with the quallity of the drinks and the atmosphere. Had a delicious Prairie while we visited, and came back later for a seasonal Italian Eggnog Macchiato for the road. I also bought a variety pack of their whole bean roasts to bring home. So far have tried the Nuclear medium roast, and it was fantastic! Definitely looking forward to trying more from this shop.

The quality is fantastic! My friends and I always love to sit upstairs, it's a great study spot for us college kids. Staff is very friendly, place is very clean, and the quality is great. I wish they quoted their prices on the menu.

Retro Roasts keeps me going. I'm a Nurse at Saint Mary's and I love the little shop in the cafeteria, fantastic hours so us night shift people can enjoy delish coffee. I order ahead on the app and it's always ready and waiting for me. My go-to fave is the iced White chocolate mocha.

Awesome place, coffee is great, staff is really kind and they sell books! I like my coffee simple, but I bet that their specialities have to be amazing. Live in RUS or just passing by, you should stop for a cup!

Passing through town and found this coffee shop tucked away. Really friendly and helpful staff. Coffee is really great as well! Had the cold brew and was delicious.

The vibes are exquisite the coffee is really good for the price they have multiple options for lactose intolerant folks and I would sell my kidneys for the pumpkin spice latte l.
