Balboa Marina

Lake Balboa is absolutely gorgeous and fun! The Balboa Marina was recently rebuilt due to a fire and everything is brand new. The marina provides excellent docks, boat rentals, a store, and great food. The owner and the staff are very nice and gracious people. They are also building two large rooms to rent above the marina. We can't wait to visit here again!! Highly recommended place to visit!

Great place. PONTOON IS powerful enough to tube on! Nice equipment. Go value. They DONT gouge you on price for gas or food!

Great place within a unique town, Hot Springs Village, technically the biggest gated community in the country..this surprised me, being Arkansas..I would expect AR to perhaps have the largest trailorpark in the country😅..largest gated community in the country, surprised me greatly. I digress, this Marina and Balboa Lake, are great. The restaurant has above average food, and a beautiful 2 story outside dining deck gives a great view of the lake. The restaurant is staffed by amiable and good workers, and the prices are reasonable. The docks at the Marina are clean and well cared for, and most have a place for a table and/or a few lounge chairs. I believe the Marina, which does not have that many docs, currently has quite long waiting list to get a doc. I think some members get their doc either passed down or by purchasing the boat occupying a doc. The Marina also has a large area for group meetings, get togethers, and such. The Marina is laid out in a non claustrophobic fashion, while making navigation of the various parts of the Marina an unconnfusing undertaking. Another thing I really like about this place is the friendly more easy going atmosphere, pervasive at this Marina and lacking at most Marinas. A lot of the people visiting along with the residents are not from Arkansas so it's easy to meet interesting but laid back people. Absolutely love this place and the community in which it resides.

For a lake it's a really nice beach! Lol. Has nice sand. Plenty of parking. Shelter tents. Party or shelter area for something. Kayaking and boats.

I can't say enough good about this not only is the atmosphere unbelievably beautiful and awesome the people are extremely gracious and helpful

What an awesome night! Great fireworks and it looked like there were thousands of people on the beach and at the pavilion and there must have been 50+ boats out on the water with different colored lights on them.

You meet the most delightful people here! As an added bonus, the hamburger combo is delicious! Plus, its in the neighborhood, not exactly "fine dining" but the views are better than most fine dining establishments!

The family and I love this place. We've got some friends that live in the area and whenever we stay with them we always have to make it out to the lake! Good fishing, it's clean, small beach/swimming area and there's food available as well. oh yea, and they've got kayak rentals for I think it was $15 an hour

Rainbow Grill. Saturday night. Vew. Well good food, well go again probably during the week not so crowded.

This place made my sons first trip on a boat amazing!!!! My son is on the spectrum and they allowed us to take a test drive and make sure he would be comfortable!!!! Wish I could up load a picture because they would be nothing but smiling faces!!! Thank you guys so very much! We will be back! See y’all soon!!

Great place for grab a bite for lunch or breakfast and rent a boat for a day out on the lake.

Balboa is a beautiful place and very clean! The breakfast and the service is amazing! Y’all be sure y’all stop by and get some food.

Balboa Marina is awesome! There are boat rentals and coming soon, July hopefully, there will be a new Marina store with a cafe that will offer good food, the menu is not set yet but burgers are on the menu, coffee, soft drinks, outdoor seating, 2 BNB units, fuel and many other things.

The atmosphere is wonderful. Whether you are fishing, renting a pontoon boat, having a beer and a sandwich on the deck, or building a campfire on the point, there is plenty to do. We love this place.

I had a hamburger there today before going out on the lake. Great hamburger. I have to say the best I’ve had in HSV.

A whole new life brings us a well-appointed marina and boat launch. Snack bar rounds out the offering to boaters, fisher persons, and curious Lake Balboa lovers.

Our family was enjoying a family reunion at the marina and it was a wonderful place beautiful scenery just perfect for a day with your family and friends and a good place to barbecue and relax and just catch up on old times.

This location is completely remodeled and has a nice open atmosphere. The the burgers were wonderful and very tasty.
