Saline Memorial Hospital

We’ve lived in Saline County for 30+ years and in that time we’ve been to this ER many times. anywhere from a chainsaw accident to a stint in the heart to as recent as pneumonia and Covid today. Given that my husband has one functioning lung this is no small diagnosis. Every single time we’ve been treated with the upmost respect and concern. The quality of care is thorough and precise. Saline County peeps who have a good review please start putting them out there for others to see. I for one would like to see this hospital stay around!

The labor and delivery team here has been absolutely nothing less than AMAZING to me. I will never forget this experience that I had. It was so life changing. The nurses , the staff , my OB , everyone has been so kind to me and made me feel like I was family. They danced with me , sang with me , laughed with me , comforted me (especially because I had a c section and was so scared going into it). I will never forget Haley , CoCo , Taylor , Dr. Robb , Billy & so many others. You guys have impacted my life beyond measures and made my stay at the hospital feel like a vacation! I feel like every hospital should be this way , nobody treated us bad in any way. I have nothing negative to say. I know moms are always so ready to get discharged and go home with their baby & I 100% am but I swear it was tear jerking leaving. Thank you times a million , you guys have been the absolute BEST to me and my family and have completely impacted my life.

I had very attentive care after an admission due to allergic reaction. And staff was just as accommodating to my husband. We appreciate the teams that served us during a scary time.

Rebecca, Candi, and Dr Wagenhauser were all phenomenal in taking care of my little boy when he broke his leg. We had a short wait and great professional care.

I have had a lot of surgeries at Saline hospital and have always had good care. The nurses and CNAs are very friendly and even the lady that brings food trays. Most of my surgeries have been outpatient, but this week on 6-13-23 I had to spend a night after surgery. I actually enjoyed my room. It was peaceful and comfortable, like my own private hotel room. Like every hospital, there are people coming in to check on patients all night long. Breathing treatments, blood samples drawn, vitals taken, IV bags changed, etc. No worries, I still slept well. A shout out to Dr. Kristin Patton who does excellent work, and to Dr. Stephen Speck an anesthesiologist who I have had in the past, but not this week. Thank you to everyone for your care during my stay :)

Saline Memorial Hospital Labor and Delivery is hands 🙌🏼 down the best!!! There are no words to describe the peace and love I felt the entire time during my stay. Dr. Christina Green and the team of nurses that participated in my labor and delivery were phenomenal!!!! For a doctor 👩‍⚕ and the same nurses to be able to deliver 4 babies at one ☝🏽 time and not break is absolutely amazing!!!! My husband nor I could not have asked for anything more. Even the nurses and doctors on call before and after were extremely nice and thorough with their observations. March 31st @5:25 my child was brought into this world 🌎 safely due to the care of Saline Memorial Hospital Labor and Delivery, THANK YOU 🙏!!!!

I had an out patient procedure this morning at saline. The entire staff from check in to check out were outstanding ! Treva was amazing at starting an i.v. on my small veins. Great experience for an uncomfortable procedure.

Dr. O'Connell could have sent him home. His EKG was normal and his first blood work was ok. But she listened to him and heard his pain. She and Dr. Pafford decided to keep him. Dr. Stewart did a heart Cath on a Sunday and it was the worst outcomes you could have. 99% blockage and upcoming open heart surgery. They could have sent him home. He could have died. We received excellent care at this hospital. He is still with me because of their care.

I had the BEST labor and delivery experience here!! I had my first 2 children at other hospitals and just had my 3rd one here yesterday. the nurses were AMAZING. I mean every single one of them were so friendly, hard working, attentive, and supportive! they answered all of my 600 questions, helped me so much after and during delivery, and were happy to help anytime I needed anything! My OB Dr Robb is amazing as well! He is so friendly and understanding, I am so incredibly greatful to have had this amazing experience with this hospital. I left the hospital with new friends in the nurses.

Great experience, Amy deserves a raise. Can’t say enough about her ability, professionalism, and attitude. Received the report in a very timely manner. Overall, very impressed! I will be sending all of my patients to Saline Memorial Hospital for MRI procedures in the future!

Went too the ER for staph infection. The ER physician took control of my situation with great care and awesome competence. Ive had bad experiences with this hospital but Dr O’Connel in the ER keep up the great work. Need more caring people in this hospital like you! Thank you!

I recently had a major surgery at Saline Memorial and had a great experience. The surgery registration staff and pre-admission nurse were both so great to answer all of my questions and make me feel comfortable. I was VERY anxious for this surgery, and my pre op nurse Lisa made me feel so much better! Drs. Robb and Green went above and beyond to make sure that my surgery was as minimally invasive as possible and I don't think I could have gotten that level of quality care ANYWHERE else. Finally, my nurses on the women and infants floor, Tiffany and Courtney, were so very personable and I felt very well cared for. A huge thank you to everyone at Saline Memorial for the excellent care...keep up the great work!

I read some of the other reviews before starting mine. Of course, its the ER so you're going to be waiting a long time so I don't think those complaints should matter. The bathrooms and the xroom that i was in were both clean. Anyway, I went in thinking I was having an early miscarriage. I got to the back very quickly. They took my vitals and everything had went well. Everytime they came in to check on me, they always apologized for the wait, and asked if i needed anything. Eventually, we realized that I had a ruptured ectopic pregnancy. I was very scared and in a lot of pain and the nurses and doctors immediately gave me everything I needed to feel comfortable. They explained exactly what was happening to me and what was going to happen in surgery. Everybody made me feel cared for and I am so grateful for everyone that helped me.

Was in ER with kidney infection and stone. The Doctor and Nurses were the best. By the time I had changed into a gown the nurse was ready to insert IV and pain medicine. Ended up being transferred to Baptist Hospital Er. Baptist Hospital ER was a horrible experience. Will always use Saline Memorial if possible.

Recently had a test in the GI department with Dr. Porter. The GI nursing team was amazing! I highly recommend!

All the staff is absolutely perfect to me. They are nice and listen when I have an issue. Some of the staff and I have becom friends right out of classes. My stay this time and last made me excited to be here. Only thing i could say back is housekeeping. They only spot sweep and take the trash out and that's about all he does. My stay was very awesome. Thank you to the staff at saline memorial for taking more time!

I came to the ER in the early morning hours of December 26th due to severe pain from diverticulitis. I had to come in alone, which I hated, but understood. I was taken back almost immediately and was treated with excellent care the entire time in the ER. I ended up being admitted and spent 5 days due to severe infection and perforation. The care I received was excellent. Everyone was attentive and nice.
Fast forward to June 29th when I had an open sigmoidectomy. Dr. Patton performed my surgery and she was absolutely amazing! Her bedside manner is incredible. She listens and truly cares about the well being of her patients. The nurses and staff were wonderful and took excellent care of me during my time there.

While in past years
Saline Memorial Hospital has gained a reputation for being not quite the best place to go. But after my first overnight stay there and just going home today I would like to say that the staff as far as the nurses anyway actually the nurses the doctors everybody really except maybe the ER checkin people I wouldn’t give them five stars but they weren’t terrible I guess maybe three... Okay 3 5. But the emergency room nurses were very good I’m not complaints.
Ended up having to have an emergency gallbladder removal. The first time of ever had surgery. I wish I would’ve gotten names of all the wonderful people who helped me I was there but I didn’t. One name I did get was one of the nurses in the surgery which was Peyton. She was very very good at her job and very helpful.

I would appreciate it if hospital administration would lookup all of the nurses and assistants who helped me while I was there and thank them for me. Expecially the assistant who ended up being the in one who wheeled me out the the car when I was discharged.

They all deserve praise for doing such an excellent job

Including my Surgeon and Anesthesiologist. Both super professional and without a doubt at the top of their game.

I wouldn't hesitate going back to Saline Memorial again in the future. Honestly I think it would be my first choice

My mom came in to the ER. Staff was so nice they went above and beyond to make her comfortable. Karley RN is a super nurse and so understanding of an elderly patient which they can be handful at times. Gave her pain medication and antibiotics. Dr Schmidt was polite great bedside manners came in and explained everything to us several times as they figured out what was going on with her. I’m pleased with the service we got. Tyler hospital PA came in wanted to know if needed anything double checked all medications she was on he was knowledgeable of everything that was going on. Great staff tonight!! Thank y’all!!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place. My mom Margaret was a patient here in November & she was treated by some on the nicest people I have ever met. I stayed with my mom day & night for almost three weeks & was treated with such kindness. All you nurses have a special place in my heart & in my prayers for the job you do. I pray BLESSINGS for each of you on a daily basis. My mama went to be with the Lord in December, but her last weeks were filled with kindness & I am very grateful to ALL who served & encouraged her.
