I own a local business here in Hermiston and so I called High Performance to see if they could come out and do an estimate for some banners, a frames, and to replace the part of the main sign that pertains to my business. Well, the owner suggested we reface the entire sign front and back and to ask the owner of the property if he'd be willing to do that. Gary said he would send me an estimate for both the single portion of the sign and also both sides completely refaced. Well Gary only sent me the smaller estimate. When I tried to reach him I couldn't and never received a call back for 10 days. When I finally reached him he basically told me oh well when I mentioned he didn't send me the larger estimate. He also told me because I ordered some of my merchandising materials online (I was able to save nearly 40% from what he quoted me) he didn't want to do business with us. Despite the fact that I was able to secure the funds for the larger job (not inexpensive, thousands) he told me to get lost. He repeated over and over "I do 75% of the business in this town!". Well he sure doesn't hold the little guy in very high esteem. Furthermore from his first visit the owner had spoke badly of some of the other businesses here locally. I thought this was a very unprofessional experience to have with a business and wanted to let it be known.
