February 23, 2024. I can now say positive things about my experience with Northwest ! I finally was able to schedule my CAT scan . The receptionist was very nice and helpful. The technician who did my scan was wonderful! Guess everyone just has days that are difficult, including me! Today, February 14, 2024… tried to contact the scheduling department to schedule a CT scan for shoulder surgery. 3 attempts to get to the scheduling office! Each time the call was not answered, a recording stated their hours were from 8am to 5pm. They quit early today, because my call was placed at 4:30. The only redeeming factor here is the very polite and kind hospital receptionist/operator who apologized profusely! However, according to my doctor’s office Northwest called me on February 2, 2024 to schedule a CAT Scan. Never received such call. Doesn’t say much about the competency of the facility! Other than their hospital receptionist/operator. 😡

Went in for knee surgery yesterday, Monday, and could not have had a better experience with the staff. From the friendly and courteous check-in woman, to the competent and friendly pre-op and recovery nurses, my experience was exceptional. I would comment on the operating room staff but was happily unconscious!

Was able to do my pre-admittance over the the phone which was a big help to me as we live farther out I of town. Haven’t had my surgery yet but so far everyone I’ve been in contact with are very pleasant and definitely over and above to make you feel comfortable.

I am Glenn's wife Michelle. I had replacement surgery on both knees in 2015. On Monday, February 26, 2024, I had to have a revision to my right knee. I have to sing the praises of Dr. Arnold and his staff to the highest!! Absolutely THE best knee surgeon in NWA!!! I had seen several other doctors about my right leg and they never diagnosed the real issue until Dr. Arnold. He saw me the next morning, diagnosed the real issue, and had the surgery scheduled within 30 days. By the time I saw him my leg had bowed so far to the right it made my leg 2 inches shorter and I couldn't walk without a cane or a walker. I'm to young for that!! He told me exactly what to expect and I would have pain. Now, with the help of the CPM machine, my leg is straight!! It does hurt, as he said it would, but not as much as it did before. He's called to check on me twice. Not a nurse--him!! I will never see another Dr. other than him for my legs again!!! He listened to me. My concerns, the issues, what I was feeling, and what hurt!!! He is absolutely THE BEST in his field!!! Thank you Dr. Arnold!!! I can't wait to kick some butt in soccer with my grandkids!!!

From the moment that I arrived to have my CT Scan, the ladies treated me so nicely and helped me when needed and would keep me updated when they were about to come and get me for my CT Scan. The people that did my scan were so nice and gentle. They all treated me with the most care and concern.

This hospital had a wonderful staff and team of doctors! They explained everything and they were very thorough in all they did! Also professional but friendly! I had to wait for a little longer going into surgery but feel like they will get this taken care of! They were just busy that day! Could have been an emergency or two had come in. But I would recommend this hospital to everyone!

Sherry the receptionist is awesome! I saw her use her kindness and sweetness to turn a grouchy bear into a pushy cat. The whole staff here made me feel safe and comfortable and treated me with kindness.

The care and kindness shown by Terri, the Registrar, was beyond anything we could have asked for. So attentive to each and all questions and needs! She truly is an asset that makes this place outstanding. More places need people like her!

The food was also wonderful! Chef Jon was the best and a true asset to this facility. He personally checked to see if our needs were met. This was restaurant food not hospital food. And the Sous Chef, Ryan was the nicest person. He took great care to make our meals extra special and always went the extra mile. Just can’t say enough about Chef Jon and Sous Chef Ryan!!!!

Awesome, the only word that truly describe PSH. From Dr Arnold to the intake staff to the nursing staff. Special thanks to Justin, Robin, Cindy my nurse's and Ryan the hospital Chef provided excellent care and attention to my needs. Also forgive me I don't recall the house keepers name but he was very friendly and attentive, made sure to mope and then dry mop as to prevent any slips. This is the kind of Hospital that should be a model to all others.

Everyone was so nice and helpful. The food was just amazing! Can't say as I've ever had hospital food that wasn't luke warm at best but it was fresh, hot and so good! The chef even came to make sure I liked the food and if he could do anything different. My room was clean. It was just a very pleasant stay at the hospital.

This place has the nicest nurses working in ER.. In the morning they gave me my infusion They were very friendly and answered all my questions. Could ask for nicer people. Thanks again ER Nurse Judy and the nurse on Sunday, Can't remember her name but was wonderful.

Excellent care from everyone from the front to the back! Dr. Songy is the best and his nursing staff was amazing. My son Aidan had surgery by him last week and they made it the best experience ever.

The facility was clean and everything had a place. I like this. Some patients were double booked and you could tell the nurses in the back were not used to this. I could tell they are used to efficiency and order, so I didn’t let it bother me. As a patient I was very pleased how they took care of me.

The tech who took care of me during my last appt. was informative & professional. He was also very gentle when he took my sutures out. On my previous appt. with Lane, he answered my questions & sent me across the street for an ultra- sound to rule out a blood clot due to the severe swelling of my L hand. He said the people @ the hospital knew how to place the sling on correctly, but they didn't. 2 days later, I had one of Kings River therapists put it on.

Every person on staff that I had an interaction with was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I never felt lost and alone which has become a recurring theme in other facilities. Top of the line experience.

Giving my experience with the surgeon, Dr Cox 5 stars. His skills are exceptional as well as his bedside manner.

There were issues with scheduling the surgery and getting MRI results to the dr prior that created stress for me and my wife. Having my pre-op doctor visit set for a date post the date of surgery was concerning. This was fixed and I had a phone consultation with the nurse practitioner prior to surgery. He explained the MRI findings and surgical plans. To me all patients need to know this prior
to surgery.

The prep nurse on day of surgery was technically very good. However, with her own admission she was very short and curt with both my wife and I. She told us up front she had spent most of her career in recovery. Because of that and her personality she had to go thru steps her way. She did promise
to cover all concerns in this manner. She would not let us ask questions when they came to us. Eventually when she came to a place in the process she did lighten up. This was
a tense time and unfortunately until the prep nurse lightened up she added
to our tension. She gave me the impression she would prefer being back in recovery.

I was told prior to the date of surgery recovery would be 2 hours. It was not. I was woken up, dressed very rapidly and rolled out to my car in little over 1 hour after surgery. The nurses that dressed me were very rushed. I was groggy and concerned about the process.

Both my wife and I felt that we were rushed thru the entire process way too quickly and harshly. We wonder if we were private pay or patience with a Medicare GAP policy if we would have been treated in the same manner.

I do have issues with my other shoulder and plan on going back to Dr Cox for this. My hope is that his staff and that of the hospital would vastly improve in all the areas I have described.

From the time I got checked in, had the surgery and was discharged; I received the best care! Dr. Arnold is the best and my nurse, Brittney was amazing!

Staff are always extremely helpful, kind and compassionate. Excellent care before and after procedures

I had a fantastic surgeon Dr. Cox. The staff was outstanding. I was very pleased with the care and how nice everyone was. This was my second stay in the hospital and it was as nice this time as it was the first time.

Love the staff! They took excellent care of me before and after my surgery! Dr. Kwon and all that assisted him explained everything and was very caring and compassionate! Thank you everyone!
