Benson's Grill

I grew up in the area, and visited Benson’s MANY times. Especially during my college years. I’ve always loved their breakfast foods, and their club sandwich.
I moved away six years ago…and my husband, daughter, and I try to visit my family back in that area once a year. Four years ago - I introduced my husband and daughter to Benson’s. Ever since then - they insist on us going when we are in the area. We visited this past week, and were reminded why we always work it into our trips back home. My husband ordered his absolute favorite - the Gotcha breakfast. It was around 11:30 AM when we went - so I branched out and ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich. My daughter went with their chicken tender combo. My husband’s GOTCHA breakfast was, as usual, phenomenal. If you’ve never gotten this…& you’re a breakfast food fan - GET IT. It’s got EVERYTHING.
My chicken sandwich was mediocre. I’ve always LOVED everything I’ve ever gotten from here, so I won’t base my review off this particular sandwich. Like I said - I love ALL their breakfast foods…& the club sandwich is my fave. I should’ve gone that route. However - I got curly fries with my chicken sandwich…& they were some of the best curly fries I’ve ever gotten. And I’m not even a huge French fry fan, typically. SO YUMMY.
My daughter’s chicken strip meal was SO YUMMY. The chicken strips were a perfect balance of breading and meat…& had a delicious flavor. Her fries were also phenomenal. Both her and my meals came with a side salad…& it was really yummy.
Our waitress, and everyone else we encountered at Benson’s (as usual) was so incredibly sweet, helpful, and friendly. Everyone there always seems so cheerful…& it’s so nice. We will definitely be back next time when we’re in the area. Even in all of our travels - we have yet to find a place that comes close to Benson’s.♥

Waitress was really nice, friendly and great at her job! Even the cook brought us our food and checked on us. We brought out son, daughter-in-law & grandson to eat before we headed out on vacation and they were not disappointed! We had told them about the singing Cook and they absolutely loved it! I also love that there is a top jar for both the waitress and the cook because they were both amazing! Thank you for a great & filling start to our adventure vacation full of quality time with the family!! Anytime is a great time to eat at Benson's! BTW, Thank you for the very clean and well decorated restroom! It was much appreciated!!

First time ever but we WILL be coming more often the food was AMAZING the coffee was GOOD best we have had the amount of food WOW it covers the WHOLE plate

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I had an exceptional experience at Benson's Grill in Fort Smith, Arkansas! The moment I stepped in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming ambiance. The food was absolutely delightful; everything tasted fresh and delicious. The eggs and steak were cooked to perfection, leaving me wanting more. And oh, those fluffy pancakes were a true delight that made my breakfast memorable!

The staff at Benson's Grill were not only courteous but also lightning-fast in their service. Despite a reasonable crowd, the wait time was surprisingly short, allowing me to enjoy my meal without any hassle.

I can't recommend this restaurant enough for breakfast lovers. If you're in Fort Smith, do yourself a favor and visit Benson's Grill. You'll be treated to a fantastic dining experience that will leave you craving for more. Kudos to the team for creating such an amazing spot! 👏🍳🥞🥩🍽

If you like great food you need to stop here! We had lunch and it was so good. My husband had "the cyclops " and they cooked it perfectly to the way he wanted. I had the " Patty melt" and it was so good. Yummy! Fast service, good food and a good price! A must go to!

Classic old time roadhouse style burgers. My server, Kindy & grillmaster Ed were fantastic!

I got a cheeseburger with fries since this was my first time here. The burger was exactly as I expected it to be. No frills, perfectly cooked & juicy! The fries; crinkle cut & perfectly crispy on the outside with a soft warm center.
Upon entry, you immediately notice the history this place holds for the locals in town. The old time regulars sitting at the bar drinking decaf, the old wall paneling, & the smell of delicious burgers in the air. Bathroom was clean & service was quick & efficient. Would definitely recommend coming here anytime. & they are open 24hrs!

Quick, hot, and yummy! The pancakes were fluffy, well flavored, and as big as my head. Staff were warm and friendly, and the inside was clean with a cozy, rustic atmosphere.

We found this place by accident and we are so glad we did. This place is your real down home dinner. People are friendly and very good at what they do. We came back by on our way home and ate there again. We are go I ng back tomorrow. We live 2 hours away and will drive just to eat there.

Best place to eat at hands down. The food, service, & atmosphere is a 10/10. Its like a waffle house but wayyyy better, the waffle house needs some lessons from these guys! I definitely recommend the Philly club and add chili to your fries! This is the first time I have ever stopped here and it won't be the last!

Good food, great service. The only problem is the breakfast menu doesn't have many choices for none pork eaters. But the steak was great and perfectly cooked!

What can I not say about this little diner. It’s definitely a place for some amazing French Toast! They were not over or under cooked! Perfection at its finest! I love the fact that you can come in and be serenaded by the chef and staff as you wait for your food. Biscuits and gravy were life. I love the fact that the gravy is was thick and creamy and the biscuits were fluffy, to add I will say the grits where ok I would say maybe a min or too longer I don’t like my grits hard. The French fries were also a delightful crunch that had you going back for more. I give this place excellent customer service. The traveling truck show give you all a 5!!!

Stopped in for breakfast while we were in town visiting. I found this place on Google. The place is fairly small, but inviting. We sat ourselves and we were immediately greeted by our waitress. The food was great and the service was impeccable. Even the cooks greeted us and were super friendly as well. This is a must for breakfast if you're ever in town. The philly cheese steak omlet was GOOOOOOD!!!

G.O.T. cha breakfast, worth every penny. Great service and atmosphere as well.

Benson grill was a treat. The service was friendly and responsive. The atmosphere was fun. I loved the decor and the people. You gotta try the Gotcha plate.

Love the place, it usually super super busy and that appeals to me because I loathe crowds. But today was not a normal kinda day, we arrived while they were slammed, only thing available was at the counter in the corner...I am glad the staff knew us well, I got the feeling it maybe should taken longer to get our food. Thanks Ladies & Cooks. Keep up the good work.

Wonderful place to have a good breakfast 😋.
Service was impeccable, coffee was awsome and my cup never went dry. My veggie omelet was excellent and my has browns got covered with onions and cheese and chili. Yum yum.

Second time coming here . Fantastic customer service. We got two of the man size breakfast. The hash browns are exceptional! The food is fresh, great atmosphere. The parking lot is pretty easy to miss though, so keep and eye out.

So much food that tastes amazing. This is a layer of biscuit with a layer of hashbrowns, a layer of bacon, a layer of eggs, and then topped with the best creamy gravy. Priced right with a welcoming atmosphere. Not a lot of seating but worth the wait.

Michelle was wonderfully jovial and authentically human, as were they an excellent waitress, for us as we dined.
The Big Mamma burger was fabulously tasty. Everything was cooked and seasoned to a perfect flavor.

Great food. Amazing Mozzarella Sticks. Open 24hrs. Great service. What's not to like?
Well it isn't the most comfortable or nice eating lobby in existence & there are some characters that'll frequent something open 24hrs like this but that, in a way, adds to its charm. Benson's hits different at 3am I'm telling you.

However, you won't be getting off very cheap. You'll pay more here for 2 meals and a plate of appetizers than you will at olive garden,texas roadhouse,outback, etc. unless you get a nice employee like I did that made the meal upgrade only an extra $0.99 instead of $4.75. When you take a drink around $3 and get an entree about $10 then add fries (meal/platter upgrade) for $4.75 and get 1 appetizer at $6.99 you end up with a meal running you around $25 BEFORE Tax or tipping. And they have entrees for way more than just $10 so that price isn't even the highest you might pay.

But I LOVE Bensons. It's very good. I just wish I could justify going here more often, but it's a little out of the budget for regular eating and not "nice" enough to act like it's a fancy date night.

So I urge you to go here for some great food!! But go with full pockets if you wanna leave with a full belly.
