The ladies was pleasant, business was clean, and Tonya did an awesome job on my son's hair, I will be back for mine.
Went back for mine and haven't gotten to post yet been too busy enjoying my braids. Car photo was the day I got them done, the others are after washing and bead changings. Still working for me 3 weeks later and at least 4 washings. This took me 2 1/2 hours sitting, 2 rows of braids, one row was quoted at 80 and 20 for additional rows, my son's (a child/student one) braid was about an hour and was 60. Tip what you can and make a review. But minimally be pleasant and kind and if you can write a review I'm a go of word of mouth on the streets myself. Also for those wanting to add beads the only large hole beads wood and plastic was only found at hobby lobby I wanted wood beads thinking they would let my hair breath and wash better it was tight and frayed a braid or two so you can cover it up with more beads. The metal wraps was found at Sally's on zero last ones but I'm sure they have restocked and perhaps with colors other than gold. We did need to come washed and dried I recommended bugs cuts in greenwood it's a drive but I will be giving her a try when I'm ready for a trim as well. Fantastic sam's in greenwood recommended a good product for the braids that wasn't too sticky or oily or Tonya has some that was great for my son's hair as well. If you don't like new growth showing you can slick down with product.but mine still looks awesome without and I'm ok taking it down earlier than anticipated depending on hair growth I think braids can last up to 6 weeks some spots have grown out about an inch so it won't be much longer for me but at 4 weeks a month without having to work about which style, another 30 mins to brush it out the whatever else so worth the 100$ and 2 1/2 hours, she may can even break up the time for you an hour one day and hour the next or if just one row could probably do it in that hour depending on hair length and texture. Also when booking a deposit is given or just pay in full. Prompt response given when messaging on Facebook. Very competent, friendly, welcoming, they are 5 stars worthy. Also let Tonya know if your tender headed and plan on putting in beads, or speak with Tonya about what all she can do for you, I don't know what her longest braiding appointment can be, my hands cramp up for me to even think about doing it myself. I'm going to be trying another braids style next I'll keep y'all posted too. I may add color next, my gray is streaked in beautifully but a splash of color wouldn't hurt and if I use hair from Sally's I don't have to sit 2 days doing that, the more you fuss with them the faster they will seem unkept, I like frizzy hair though. And I'm tired of perms, wait until I take it down. I recommend washing letting it dry and form for a day naturally and see it's like the crimp wands without heat and I love it will post pictures when I take it down. I think Google's reviews add on is getting to much come see the Facebook page it's getting more post and pictures every day.
