Godfrey & Black Brick & Stone

Our experience with Godfrey and Black was a great one. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We were missing some hardware on our doors when we installed it; I called the company and without hesitation was told, "We will get this figured out!" It is so nice to know that there are still people who value their customers. Should I ever need another fireplace, I will be coming back here.

Just got a new log set with a remote, love it! Great service and professional job! Highly recommended

Very disappointed with their lack of help and customer service after spending thousand on a fireplace that didn’t work. Told not their job to insure the fireplace actually works after installing it. After help from the manufacturer our electrician went thru everything to finally find a pinched wire in the firebox wall that was done during manufacturing, causing it to short out. After voiding our warranty cause they say we were burning to wet of wood and our electrician wired wrong. They tell us, well glad it works now. Just want your money then then they are done. Thank God for our electrician who didn’t give up and did their job for them.

Beth was great, she was super helpful and responsive throughout the whole process! My issue comes with “restocking” and the extremely rude/hateful Lacey. We waited four months on brick from this company and we’re very happy when it came in. Like everyone, we ordered extra brick to be safe because they told us they would restock it no problem. Told them I had 13 bundles of brick and 25 bags of mortar to return and they said no problem. I took pictures of everything before they came and got them and I’m glad I did. They picked up ALL the brick and ALL the mortar. We went to go get our check and noticed not only was the name wrong but it was way less than it should be. When I asked why they said they only gave up credit for ONE bundle of brick and 2 bags of mortar because “they only take back full bundles.” I said that it wasn’t made clear to us and they shouldn’t have picked up brick that we weren’t getting a credit on. Lacey, hatefully, said “we do it all the time” so just beware they are liars and THIEFS. They even admit it. I told her we would definitely be telling people about our bad experience and even asked they return our brick and she refused stating “you can have it back if you come get it” knowing we don’t have a semi or forklift to unload it. Her only response was “sorry you feel that way” as she walked away. After looking at reviews it’s obvious she is a problem in the company. I would definitely not recommend using this company.

My experience with this establishment has been terrible. There was confusion about the owed amount when Returning a fireplace, the way it was calculated was very confusing. My husband was wrong in the Calculation, but when he went to explain they put him down and talked to him terrible! Saying he couldn’t do math and he clearly didn’t use a accountant. They also asked what he did for a living. Basically calling him dumb. They charged a install fee in a fireplace that wasn’t installed. When we initially ordered everything I asked if they did military discounts LACEY rolled her eyes. That’s how you treat retired military? Would not recommend!

The most god aweful company… -5/10 I’m 99 percent sure I’m about to get an attorney involved with this company.. save yourself the headache and go with literally with any other company and avoid that hateful women lacy at all cost. I don’t see how she still has a job with all of these negative reviews against her. She must be the owner.

They are dishonest and manipulative. Emma is extremely harsh. We traveled 1 1/2 hours to buy their product. Spent $706. One part that was never used was $102. Tried to return, Per their invoice, it was subject to a restocking fee. Also stated " material must be in good condition to be resold". They refused to accept the return because we did not buy a stove from them. We only bought chimney pipe. If we had spent $$thousands on a stove, there would be no issue. THIS IS WRONG!!!!!
