Quality Inn Umatilla - Hermiston

I arrived at about 1030am... It is clearly posted just about everywhere online and on their doors that check-in is not until 3:00 p.m. under the circumstances I was in the front desk gave me an upgrade just so I could get into a room to get ready for my 1:00 appointment I had spent about 20 hours driving and I was looking just as miserable as I felt. Front desk was very pleasant and very kind to notice that I overlooked the 3pm rule and that it was just a bad day in general. Her kindness was so appreciated. Turned my whole mood around.
When I got to my room it was way bigger then I expected . but very clean. Had kind of a musky smell but I opened the window and all was well. I ended up leaving that night late after I had dinner and made some business calls. Greatful that they clearly didn't have to accommodate me but they still did

Very nice experience! Nice and spacious room with comfortable bed. Plus have USB charger in the rooms. Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. We got to hotel super early and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 10am. The front desk girl shared her experience from life and shared the near by visiting places. she told me about winery, state park near by area. The service was exceptional as well. Grateful that they clearly didn't have to accommodate me but they still did. Would definitely recommend to others. The room was spacious and clean. The vintage aesthetics were awesome. The breakfast was nice and hot...... not a HUGE variety but if you're not a fussy eater, you have a lot of choice and the coffee was plentiful and very tasty. Clean spacious room. Tv worked great. Appliances in the room were clean as well. Pillows were extra soft and squishy. Hotel has plenty of parking lot. After a hectic day, such a safe and quiet place to get rest. The view was amazing of golf course from my balcony as people playing golf. Columbia river is just 200steps away from hotel, I went there so pleasant view. There was a nice bar Russ's place near by hotel. We had a wonderful stay and would return to this hotel for sure......

I stay here 5 or 6 times per year. The golf course view rooms are great.

We had a great room and comfotable bed. Still in sticker shock over the prices of Hotels in the US. I usually travel in Southeast Asia and get a great room for $45 a night!

Very nice experience! Nice and spacious room with comfortable bed. All amenities, balcony and vaulted ceiling on the second floor. Had a great night, no issues. Exercise room is a big plus for me. Would definitely stay again and do recommend.

Stayed here only one night but it was a cute little retro style Quality Inn. The staff was very kind and the breakfast in the morning was minimal due to covid but still fairly good.

My only complaint is the lack of signs leading up to the property and I know they cant change it but around 10pm to around 9am it smells like rotting flesh mixed with hot diarrhea outside. It's bad enough that it almost takes your breath away when going outside.
The views are beautiful around the hotel as well, just make sure you wait to do any site seeing until after 9am

Neat lil place. Got a double queen with a kitchenette. The room had a golf course view and the best part was the sliding door and easy access to our truck. Clean rooms. Comfy enough beds

Very happy with the room. Service was friendly and excellent. Breakfast was not great, but given the low price I was perfectly happy with what I got.

My family and I consist of approx 100 people have been coming to this hotel for 30 years through many owners and changes. Quality had a pretty big shock when we came the first year. They handled us very well these last 2 years. They are incredibly accommodating. Theresa at the front desk works so hard with my Aunt to plan all our rooms. Cleaning staff is diligent and friendly. They remember how you like things done and go above and beyond to make you comfortable. Thank you for hosting us again quality! You guys are the best.

Stayed for a week and it’s was a great hotel nothing fancy but the room was clean,
spacious and comfy, breakfast was offer daily great sitting areas and staff was very friendly, unfortunately we had to check out due to not much around to grab food daily we had to drive to Hermiston for every need, but will recommend this hotel for short term living great outdoors to go for walks .

We had a very nice overnight stay here in mid August. We enjoyed a refreshing swim in their sparkling clean pool, and found their hot breakfast selections quite above average, with more than adequate seating available. Our room was quite possibly the largest we've had anywhere and all decor was fresh and appealing. OK, this isn't a Hilton, but it was possibly one of the best motels we have ever stayed at.

Very clean and quiet. Extremely large and clean room. Breakfast was awesome. Eggs, biscuits and sausage gravy, link sausage, waffles, fresh fruit and more! Hot and fresh. Staff attentive. Spent 2 nights. Would definitely stay again. Only drawback was attached Mexican restaurant not much selection, very small portions and personnel spoke limited English.

Front desk clerk, Stephanie, was really nice. She actually helped me out by giving me names and numbers of a few tire shops in this area to get a new tire at because my tire had a blowout right before I stopped here. Im from Indianapolis and im driving back from Battleground, Washington so I do not know this area so it was nice to have someone go out of their way for me. The room is very neat and clean and im extremely satisfied with Quality Inn. Thanks Stephanie!!

Honestly this is a great place to stay! What you get for the price you pay is totally worth it. They offer a very good and tasty breakfast every morning. There is an out door pool. Many rooms have patios or balconies for no extra cost. The rooms are very clean and cozy and good sized. The staff, including the supervisors are friendly and helpful. There is free wifi for guests. Also has vending and ice machines. Rooms have bathtubs and there is several room types to fit your needs or wants. The entire inside and outside of establishment is clean. Very pleased with the cleanliness of everything. The location of hotel at first seems to be a little out if the way but it is actually in a desirable locale. Sitting above a river, lock and dam and a wildlife presence area with several parks & ponds. It is also right on the corner of a big, nice and professional golf course. It is within driving time of shopping, food and many different towns and cities. The hotel also has on site laundry room for the guests. There is all sorts of items that the hotel staff has on hand for traveler's needs. A mexican restaurant is connected to the hotel and there is a bar and market within close walking distance. I can safely and honestly refer anyone to this establishment and feel good about it. I will be staying at this hotel in the future.

Great experience! Stayed one night, staff was excellent! Hotel was a little old but still very clean no complaints and wow what a breakfast! This isn't no bagel, cereal breakfast, I'm talking biscuits and gravy, waffles, eggs, sausage, Danishes, etc. well worth it! Definitely would reccomend this hotel. If I had to complain about anything, I went in February and the closest place to eat was 5 miles away. Not a real big deal but that's all to complain about lol.

Really enjoyed our stay at this place! We stopped here on our way from Washington to Idaho, perfect spot to stop with our dog! Big rooms, breakfast and great rates! Thank you!

The room was clean, check in process was easy, and Gary (I think that was his name) was kind, courteous, funny, and attentive. Kudos to Gary! Great stay. We will stay here again if in the area.
