Amazing food and establishment. Everything I’ve tried has been spectacular and I love that most of their food (maybe all?) is seed oil free. I’ll eventually end up trying their whole menu.

While on a trip to Santa Fe, we got Yamas for takeout and enjoyed every bite of our meal! To start, we got the Avgolemono Soup and the Titan Fries. The fries were absolutely AMAZING, with just enough spice and loaded with flavor. These are a must try! The soup was mild but very refreshing, with the perfect amount of lemon flavor. For entrees, we had the Gyro Meat Plate with Spanakopita and the Pulled Chicken Plate with Dolmas. Both were seasoned perfectly and were large portions. We wrapped our meal up with a piece of Bougasta, and this alone will have us coming back! If you're looking for a delicious Greek meal, you need to try this place out.

Stopped in for some quick to go food and wow. Everything is excellent here. Hailing from Western NY I have always had a ton of options back East. It had gotten harder to find good Greek/Mediterranean food out West.

Yamas is excellent, everything if fresh, homemade and absolutely delicious. I recommend anything because I got such a variety and it was all great.

Yamas is a Greek restaurant with a capital “G.” There are items on the menu we had not seen or tasted before. My big Greek salad with Lamb (absolutely delicious) came with caper berries, something I had not heard of before, let alone tasted. Caper Berries are green and tear drop shaped with a 3 inch stem. (At first I thought it was a big olive.) The taste is briny and they are full of tiny, juicy seeds with a unique mouthfeel. We also ordered the Orzo Salad that came with a traditional Greek Ladolemono Vinaigrette. There are an array of side dishes. We just ordered one, Greek Fries (short and slender topped with feta and parsley) and the hot and zesty Red Tzatziki Sauce (tomato, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic, cilantro, parsley and olive oil) for dipping. Dessert was a shared Revani (semolina cake baked in almond, orange and rosewater, topped with a pistachio crumble.) Our beverage was unique to northern New Mexico, Zia Pinon Cola. Kola nuts are blended and brewed with Pińon Nuts harvested from the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and combined with lime juice, vanilla and cinnamon. It makes for a refreshing taste. There are many, many more traditional and unique dishes on the menu. We will be back and back again. Final tip: Yamas’ exterior belies its menu. It is located right on Cerrillos Road. But once inside the noise is conversation level (68 dB) and the background music is enjoyable. Surprisingly it is Counter Order with no waiting. Service was excellent.

Absolutely delicious! If you haven’t tried Yamas in Santa Fe, you are missing out on some seriously delicious meals! The ingredients are super fresh, the gyros are the best I’ve ever had, the tzatziki sauce out of this world, and their menu extensive. The fries with the feta and light seasoning are perfect! Service staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. It is very clear the owner cares about the quality of the food and the atmosphere of the establishment. You will want to try everything on the menu! Don’t forget a tasty dessert followed with a Greek coffee. My new favorite restaurant in Santa Fe!

Yiyas lemonade, Gyro, Spanakopita, with Greek salad, baklava and bougasta were delicious! Service and staff were friendly. I had never had moussaka, but it was ok. I would recommend the above mentioned.

The food was delicious. I ordered the lamb gyro with the Greek fries and a side salad and everything was so flavorful and well seasoned. The fries were perfectly crispy and the gyro was stuffed in such a way that you were able to get all of the ingredients in every bite. The restaurant was clean and the decor was lovely. The staff was also very attentive. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Cozy little Greek place with a ton of fantastic traditional Greek food! The lemon soup is amazing, as are their gyros, falafel and hummus! Super friendly staff, food comes out quick, pretty reasonable prices too, definitely recommend giving them a try!

Absolutely love this place! This was something SF was so in need of, good Greek food. After living on big cities and being able to ding food fresh Greek food, this was definitely something that was missing here. The place is delicious. You can tell they use the best freshest ingredients and there is thought and care put into every dish. We have probably eaten here 20+ times and have only had good experience. I highly recommend the Gyro, the pulled chicken plate and the zucchini fries are insanely delish. We also do take out from here and the food is always perfect when we get home. Definitely recommend Yamas!

In search of a salad, we had a late lunch at Yamas. I believe the business is family owned because I felt right at home as soon as I entered the establishment. We ordered a kale Mediterranean salad, Greek salad, falafel sandwich and Greek fries. The food came out really quickly and tasted great. The highlight of my meal were the dolmas on the Greek salad. They were nice and crisp and packed with flavor. As we finished our meal, the owner of the restaurant delivered Greek yogurt samples on the house. Definitely the best Greek yogurt I’ve ever had, topped with cherries. The texture was perfect and the flavor was just the happy ending to a wonderful meal.

Fantastic experience front to back. Menu has something for everyone, and a lot of very niche Greek foods, and every dish I've tried is delicious. Flavors are bold and satisfying, and each sauce is a clear individual with its own personality (My favorite is the red tzatziki). Entrees are a great size for their prices, and are sure to satisfy. I've had both dine in and take out, and recommend whichever is more convenient. If you do dine in, the service is some of the friendliest in Santa Fe, and if you take out you can expect a nicely packaged meal and a few kind words on your way out. I would advise having breath mints on hand because the food contains the garlic befitting genuine Greek food.

Overall this is a great place and I recommend it to friends and strangers every chance I get.

Lovely wait staff, delicious food. We loved everything we ordered. My husband said that the baklava was the closest to real Greek he's ever had in the states! Can't wait to come back!

Im glad i stopped in. The friendly staff, pleasing atmosphere, selection of beverages, knowledge of menu and of course.... the food!!!! My taste buds and stomach are still happy six hours later!
I had the Classic Greek gyro with falafel side, a white wine and mineral water. The wine portion was disappointing especially for what was charged. I don't recomend it. I will choose pre-packaged beverages only in the future. I generally don't eat out because it's so often disappointing in every aspect. But this time, I highly recommend Yamas.

The frozen greek yogurt is the best thing on the planet! Do not miss it.
I crave it daily. Thankfully there is a $2 sampler, but splurge for a full sized one. I prefer no toppings, but the toppings are awesome too!

Food is great at a great price. I was so happy to find a really good Mediterranean spot in Santa Fe. My fave is the pulled chicken plate.

Visiting from Las Cruces and took the family to eat. FOOD WAS AMAZING 👏 I work at two restaurants and am quite picky when it comes to food but wow this place really went above our expectations. Clean restaurant and employees were super sweet. I would drive back to Santa fe just to eat here again.
