Grasshopper Construction is a gem. They just refinished our bathtub and resealed all bathroom tiles, and from the price to the end product, we are very happy. Eric is always professional, candid, incredibly knowledgeable, and goes out of his way to deliver a high quality result.

I called Grasshopper Construction to make some major repairs and additions to our home and we’re extremely satisfied with their services. Grasshopper Construction isn’t the #2 but the #1 company to call when you’re in need for roofing replacements, painting, flooring, custom bathrooms/showers, remodeling, etc…. Eric and another worker with the company were two very hardworking people. The first guy who came & fixed our ceiling was very professional and nice. Then Eric came later that day to install a knob for our shower & even did an extra service, which was fixing our garbage disposal. He was also very nice & was only coming for the knob switch but decided to do extra when he most definitely didn’t have to. I was very pleased with the service these two men provided.

Eric and Grasshopper Construction have been amazing with their work. When I had a car drive trough the wall of my garage, he came out and looked at the damage and gave me an estimate when others said I would be waiting for several months before they could even take a look at it. The work he's done has been great in both the workmanship and the cost. He's been very responsive to concerns and keeping me in the loop on everything. I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat.

We had seamless, covered, gutters installed a few years ago. Because of the roofing overhang they had to trim the entire north side back where the gutters would be effective during hard rain. The house is 90' long and we had it installed on both sides so there was a great deal of work involved.

Around the end of last winter we had a house fire affecting about a 30' area, mostly on the outside wall as well as roof area of the house and water damage to the inside sheetrock plus insulation from putting the fire out.

For the paint to match they painted the entire living room. All 4 walls and ceiling areas.

The boards on the outside that required replacement were done as well as the insulation, vinyl siding, roof plywood, truss boards, and metal roofing reinstalled.

They were professional, expedient, and pleasant to work with through the entirety of the jobs they performed. From the initial inspection on the job sites right through the completion of the projects, they remained very professional.
All old materials were removed and hauled away.
Just a very pleasant experience throughout.

My porch door was cracked open enough for my cats to go in and out and I find their card stuck in my entry door to my house never minding that the porch door they opened to enter has "No Soliciting" signs on it. This was very unprofessional and I will not be using them for any of my repair work.

"Very disappointed and confused" at his initial blah, blah, blah "please, let me have your contract" attitude, and then failure to meet deadlines, wasting my time, then insults and change of attitude "AFTER" TAKING MY CASH DEPOSIT and attempting to charge me sales tax on the painting contract in apparent violation (not adjudicated) of 2010 Arkansas Code Title 26 - Taxation Subtitle 5 - State Taxes Chapter 52 - Gross Receipts Tax Subchapter 3 - Imposition of Tax § 26-52-301, and the untimely WASTE OF MY TIME coupled with excessive and UNNECESSARY DRAMA, ARGUMENTS, CONFRONTATIONS, INSULTS and then when he finally arrived (3 DAYS LATE) to start painting he FAILED TO COVER THE HOUSE PROPERTY (TAPING/DRAPING/PLASTIC SHEETING) CAUSING UNNECESSARY AND EXTENSIVE PROPERTY DAMAGE TO MY (partially painted still after ONE MONTH), DECK/PORCH, HOUSE NUMBERS, ROOF, WINDOWS AND NATURAL STONE FOUNDATION AND MY SHELVES WITH HANDYMAN TOOLS AND MATERIALS BY ANGRILY SLAMING THE SHELVES ON THE CONCRETE SIDEWALK AND TOSSING THE GRILL UP THE HILL FROM THE HOUSE IN ANGER WHILE HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE PAINTING MY HOUSE not damaging my personal things and exterior of the house where he was spray painting, treating this paid-in/invested client ($700 + 75), going so far as the shout at client by phone, then failing to give or offer any guidance on what I was supposed to do in anticipation of his arrival to paint the house, then getting angry that I had not done was "you were supposed to do, move the stuff away from the house" (I wasn't told anything to do?) NOT SHOWING UP ON TIME AND WASTING A LOT OF MY PERSONAL TIME, abandoning the project after DESTROYING personal items in my yard after DAMAGING THE EXTERIOR ADDRESS AND FRONT PORCH DECK by negligently failing to cover up these areas (address brass numbers and wooden deck) and then recklessly painting areas which were not supposed to be painted, and then, of course, STARTING ANOTHER ARGUMENT WITH THE CUSTOMER. One month AFTER THE CONTRACT WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE BEEN FINISHED, my house still stands only PARTIALLY PAINTED, and Grasshopper has DISAPPEARED WITH MY MONEY. With all due respect, please, please, please be very CAREFUL WITH THIS PERSON before giving him any money or agreeing to his 10% GRASSHOPPER SERVICE CHARGE, PROFIT AND/OR SPECIALIZED TAX AND/OR RETAIL SALES TAX IMPROPER COLECTION, (i.e., possible violation of 2010 Arkansas Code Title 26 - Taxation Subtitle 5 - State Taxes Chapter 52 - Gross Receipts Tax Subchapter 3 - Imposition of Tax § 26-52-301) for bickering and insisting that his INVOICES FOR PAINTING CONTRACTS WITH 10% TAX MAY NEED TO BE REFUNDED TO CUSTOMERS if non-SALES TAXable under 2010 Arkansas Code Title 26 - Taxation Subtitle 5 - State Taxes Chapter 52 - Gross Receipts Tax Subchapter 3 - Imposition of Tax § 26-52-301. It's not clear if there is a violation of this Statute by Grasshopper, but if they charged this and to find out if this is even proper per 2010 Arkansas Code Title 26 - Taxation Subtitle 5 - State Taxes Chapter 52 - Gross Receipts Tax Subchapter 3 - Imposition of Tax § 26-52-301. It's not clear at this time, but should be investigated.
