Although fried Haddock tacos were on the menu, waiter gladly conveyed our request for baked Haddock tacos. Delivered with a wonderful salad and seasoned perfectly, they were superb! My mouth waters with the memory! We followed with Sticky Toffee pudding (delicious) and tea!!!

We had a great meal here, good cocktails, and fine service. The full bellied clams were recommended, and very yummy. They also have smoker, and served great smoked brisket, the ribs are probably also good ! A pleasant surprise, as we expected only a seafood focus. Would recommend !

Dinner for 3, at 1830. King Ralph was out waiter, it was Halloween. Ordered the lobster carbona and the fried calms. Dessert was a pumpkin cranberry cheesecake and a figgy pudding. Dinner was great and dessert was tasty. Great ambience, not loud at all. Clean restaurant.

Spectacular supper along the Essex River with the perfect combo of delicious food, beautiful view and first rate service! Their clam chowder is unique with fried clams and crispy pork belly on top! The oysters and shrimp cocktail are so fresh! The steak tips and hot lobster roll were sumptuous! They have creative mocktails. My favorite spot for seafood and more!

I’ve have been remiss in accolades as I have been here several times over the past few years… outstanding food highly recommend the lobster salad, the winter wedge and the key lime pie is a slice of heaven 🤩 staff is lovely and a fantastic location

One of the best dinner spots in Essex. It has a great ambiance and the noise level is perfect because you can hear everyone you are with but not so quiet that you can other patrons around you. The food. Oh my. It is absolutely delicious. They have a great variety of dishes and their portions are generous. I am a huge fan of their clam chowder, it's the best I've had on the north shore. I had one of their burger specials. I also tried their mussels and it was amazing. The mussels are steamed and placed in a delicious well-flavored, slightly creamy sauce.

In my opinion this is one of the best overall restaurants in the North Shore. Whether you're going on a date or family, it never disappoints. The mussels are probably the best appetizer to have, make sure you order a lot of bread and a spoon because you will want to sink the bread in the delicious sauce and eat it like a soup. The atmosphere is very casual. Highly recommended!

The restaurant catered wonderfully to our group of seventeen and managed us well..
Food excellent and menu pleasantly varied.
Our server handled us with finesse and patience and even had time to socialize a bit.

Love the oysters here. Summer is always happening here but come at winter time and you have the peaceful little romantic table by the window watching the snow fall. The food is phenomenal here. So tasty. Love this place.

One of my favorite restaurants for a special dinner! My family all loves it here. I’m a big fan of the mussels and the oysters. I sometimes have to stop myself from drinking the mussel sauce as a soup it’s soo flavorful! Definitely save room for their desserts too!

Delicious meal with an Essex River view, hard to beat that! Enjoyed a blackened chicken salad and had plenty left to take home.

One of the best dining experiences on the North Shore. Wonderful seafood dishes with new twists and bright flavors, as well as wonderfully executed staples. The drinks were great and the marsh side view is wonderful! CK has catapulted itself into our top 3 restaurants in the area and should definitely be on your list.

Probably one of the best seafood restaurants in Cape Ann. The oysters and shrimp cocktail are some of the best raw bar items I’ve ever had. The Thai coconut curry mussels are a must try. The tacos were a bit salty though. Make sure to come here for a nice view with fresh seafood.

First time visiting the beautiful town of Essex! We sat at the bar and has the best experience with Ali, the bartender! Ordered clams, oysters, mussels, lobster carbonara and tacos with a bottle of wine! Everything was absolutely delicious, Ali was an incredible bartender, and the atmosphere was stellar. Would highly recommend this spot if you’re passing through or visiting for the weekend.

Excellent seafood with a perfect dose of picturesque Essex land and waterscapes. Sit on the open deck, screened in porch/bar area, or the cozy dining room, all with views of the water inlets. Very relaxed and care free atmosphere.

Shrimp, mussels, fried clam appetizers and salmon entree was great; don't recommend baked haddock -- saffron cream and fish just don't mix. Burger with lobster looked good (wish I got that instead). Jazz band was an amazing touch.
