Captain D's

It is the same captain D's since I was a kid. I am not saying this is a healthy option but for fried seafood they are consistent and chicken strips are awesome as well.

Only one person working front. She stayed cheerful while taking window orders and inside orders and running food out to cars in 96° heat. No one got upset because all were so amazed at her cheerfulness with air not working properly indoors. Was about 80/81° inside. She is the best.

Ordered to go and paid online. I ordered two 4 piece (Pollock) at Captain D's and two 3 piece catfish dinners at Chicken Express. Price per oz. is considerably less at Captain D's. Fresh Pollock is $2/ lb. more at Kroger. Next time, I'll try Captain D's catfish.
Chicken Express catfish is big and good, just costs more.

Savannah is an asset to the Benton location!! We placed a large order and she was pleasant and efficient.. She interacts with all the customers great and is a hard worker. Hard to find workers of this caliber..

My wife has her nails done in Benton and she broke one this morning at church so I told her we would drive down that way, eat a quick lunch and get her nails fixed. I have always enjoyed Captain D's but it has been quite a while since we have been conveniently near one so when we went down Military we pulled in to eat. The menu has had a few changes since the last time we were there but my wife and I both ordered our traditional favorites. She had the chicken tenders and had the three piece fish with Cole Slaw and mac and cheese. As I paid for the meal I noticed a sign on the counter for seafood gumbo. I told the manager that I had run a store in Louisiana and learned to love good Cajun gumbo. I was actually a little surprised when he said that if I was used to Louisiana gumbo, it was alright but not as good as real Louisiana gumbo. So I added a small gumbo to my meal just to try it. After we were served he made a point to come over to make sure that everything was alright, that we didn't need anything else and to ask what I thought of the gumbo. I confessed that it had a little more salt than I liked but all-in-all it wasn't bad. He was very friendly and polite, the food was as always good (and Captain D's has always had great sweet tea),but the service was excellent. We were made to feel welcome by the whole staff. Good food, good conversation and great service, how could you go wrong?

Fast & friendly service through drive thru. Food was hot, fresh & delicious. Generous portions, affordable. Nice change from typical fast food burgers/chicken.

My family and I (2 adults 4 kids) went into captain d's about 30 minutes or so b4 their closing time. After hours of Christmas shopping we just wanted a place we could all sit down together and eat. The ones working that night were very, very polite. The food was fresh, hot.. tasted great. These people went above and beyond my expectations.

Let me say that the young man that was the cashier on yesterday worked very hard in keeping the dining area going and also the drive through. Everything was cooked to how I like it and guess what I’m going back today to eat lunch. I hate I can’t remember the young man name but he had a bunch of city employees come in gave them all their drinks the cook was listening as everyone ordered and she as well helped out and made sure everything fresh and fast...

Best fish n chips in benton.

Decided to give them another chance. They were so friendly and nice this time. Told us about senior discount as soon as we walked in. Appreciated that. Food was good too. We will come back.

I eat here about once a week and the food is always great. The same guy takes my order every time and he's always really polite and helpful. The service isn't always the absolute fastest but I'm never in that much of a hurry and and don't mind waiting a minute for hot and fresh food. One of my favorite restaurants on Military Rd.

I honestly haven't visited a captain D's in probably 15 years. Well it is still as good as I remember from my childhood years.

The wild Alaskan Cod they use apparently makes all the difference.

It's been awhile, today's visit went very well food cooked correct no greasy as$ fingers service was great manager came up to us and checked on us. Would come back.

I’ve been here several times. Our order is always accurate and timely. Food is always hot and fresh and good. Other then maybe moving to a better location I couldn’t offer any suggestions for them on how to improve. Keep doing what y’all are doing!

A LOT better than they used to be.. Clean, friendly, good food. Even though my order was slightly wrong, which I don't fault them due to being extremely busy, I still give it 5 stars

Great Food like I always have. Very nice and friendly staff. The more you hold a conversation with them, the better the food and service is. I wish corporate would give them more money to fix up the store. But That doesnt matter! Also Cleanest Bathrooms in town!

They were very nice and didn't rush me while I was ordering. With all that we ordered the price was good. So good food and great service I say thank you.

Excellent place to eat.
It needs a remodel but the food is great as always.

Today was the 1st time eating there!! Man it was delicious. We order Fish Sandwich and Frys. Man they made it fresh to order and the staff was super friendly. We will be going back here. Thank you for the great experience!!!
