Went in to see if they could help me find what I needed to rewire a 70 plus year old custom made lamp. Mark, in the electric department, is wonderful! He continued to help other customers that came in, then went back to my lamp. Such a pleasant young man! He found a socket that would fit, and rewired everything. I thought I would just purchase what I needed and do it myself! That is customer service!

Ran in to get keys made and even before getting to the key machine, I had been greeted by two employees.

The third employee that made the keys was knowledgeable and had multiple copies made in minutes. Love the ease of finding capable staff at this location.

My go-to place in Kingman for just about everything I need! The first, most impressive thing about this place is the staff. Everybody is friendly and seem to enjoy working there. There are plenty of employees on the floor at all times who will come help you and they know where to find what you need in the store. Let's compare that to Home Depot...that's right, *crickets*

Next is the hardware section; it's outstanding, you can by individual components like nuts, bolts, springs, even tiny ball bearings, etc, when you need just one or two and don't want to be forced into buying a pack of them that you'll otherwise never need again. Now lets compare that to Home Depot which just plain doesn't have what you need or requires you to order it online in multipacks and wait for it to arrive.
I went to Home Depot recently, ONLY because it was after True Value had closed for the evening and I couldn't even buy a standard sized jam nut (thin nut) and they only offered the option to order a multi-pack of them online and then wait for it to arrive. I went to True Value the following day and there it was; I needed one and I bought one!

Prices are very reasonable here, cheaper than the competition much of the time and if you find something that's more than another retailer, you'll find it's not much more and that you're happy to pay the extra .50 cents to support this locally owned franchise with the excellent, helpful and knowledgeable customer service. There's not many hardware stores out there like this anymore so be sure to keep supporting this place and give them your business!

Great place for plumbing problems to get solved. I walked in with a valve in my hand and the employee knew the manufacture at a glance. Had the right part and I replaced the valve in only one trip?!? That’s a record for me where plumbing is concerned.

True value is a great store for most of my home improvement projects. they have just about everything I need, bit I would say the nicest thing about this store is there is always an employee near by to help you find what your looking for. At some bigger chain stores in town you can walk around for ten minutes at a time and never even see an employee, and when you do they are to busy to stop and help you look for an item. But the best part of true value is that they now carry Dots Pretzels! If you have never had them before they are the best pretzels on the planet! I used my last 3 paycheck to just buy these Dots Pretzels. It's become a problem, my wife is upset we don't have electricity or water. I can't say enough that there pretzels are that good. True Value = 10/10. Dots Pretzels = 1000/10

Has a good supply of lumber. Staff will cut (via a table saw as well as a vertical gravity saw) plywood (and other lumber) to the desired size at no additional cost. This is a great help to me, a homeowner with a limited work shop.
We also prefer to shop at locally-owned businesses. Kingman's True Value is also a family-owned business.

Old fashioned hardware store has great customer service and exhaustive inventory. Has lumber, bulk plumbing supplies and knowledgeable and pleasant sales staff. You don't have to look for help. Best place to start is Customer Service. Always have great experience.

The cashiers are great. Good sense of humor, pleasant and eager to assist. There is a gentleman in plumbing that is very helpful and doesn't speak down when you ask questions. Enjoy shopping in this store.

The store is great. They have such a variety of everything you could want. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a little shop inside the store, Dreams and Rainbows, they have some very cute things in there. A nice atmosphere to shop in.

Great service here. Walk in the door and it feels like Cheers where everybody knows your name. The girls always have a dog treat for our service dog.

True Value Hardware is the best hardware store in our town. And, I know there are a lot of contractors that deal with them exclusively.

The only place in town that's a real hardware store they have every thing people thear are very helpful as allways .

Love this store. They do it all ...from making keys to hardware, tools, and so much mire. Real small town helpfulness.

Their prices are a little high but their customer service is unmatched. The people that work there will literally trip over each other to help a customer. The plumbing and electrical selection is way better than Home Depot and the people in those departments are quite knowledgeable.

Can't beat true value. We always find what we are looking for. Someone is there if you have a question and you don't have to go looking for help. Very knowledgeable employees! In the lighting section the employee has helped us numerous times with our problems. He is a very helpful, kind, very patient employee. A great asset to the company.
