Nahant Beach And Playground

Restrooms at site, very clean. Wash off area, walking trails. Beach is clean, beautiful place. Small parking and it's free. There is always someone around you can ask for assist. Love the place

Very nice beach close to the city. There are a lot of parking spaces but might be crowded on nice sunny days.

Fully fenced in. Two entrances/gates; close to the beach; small parking lot that gets full at peak times (i.e. a summer Saturday midday); a decent park with nice views of the ocean and good for plane spotting; the con is it’s near a busy roundabout/rotary; I’ve posted this park on here before but after visiting it today I decided to make an updated video on it

A really spacious beach not too far from the city. Gorgeous location and plenty of parking even if the lot gets full.

Absolutely love this beach. The sand is amazingly soft, definitely my favorite beach in the state. Although, there was alot more seaweed washed up on the shore then last time. Great beach for kids, smaller waves that are great for body surfing. I had a great day with my friends at Nahant beach!

Very clean beach. Went early in the morning to walk with a friend. Not too crowded. Walked along the path and then down to the shore. Great place to walk. Just watch out for bicyclists coming from behind you on the path and give you no warning. Next time this old lady will stick to walking the shoreline...lol

This is a great beach. Parking is the drawback. On weekends the lot fills early. The way the parking lot is set up , most people have to park toward the Lynn end of the beach. So that end gets crowded. It's a long walk to the other end. It's also expensive to park there. Get a season pass. Or if you're 62 or older you can get a senior pass that never expires.

It's within walking distance from my loft. There's parking for the colder weather and the start of a bike ride, beach walk or run down the causeway to Nahant. There's little visitor parking in Nahant so the parking for the beach allows visitors driving a way to enjoy the beach or walk into Nahant. Tides Restaurant is at the end of the causeway, good place to meet friends with food and drinks. It's really the gateway to access the interesting coves and parks by foot.

it's a nice park by the beach so the veiw is nice the park isn't dirty. there is alot of people but it's summer and all parks have alot of people. It's ice my 3 year old son had fun.

$5 for a well maintained beach? Yes. They now even accept credit cards at entry. Multiple Bathrooms and showers. Lots of parking in brand new as of 2015 lot.

Pro tip, get there early but if you don't walk as far right towards Dunkin Donuts as you can if you want less crowd.

Very international beach unlike some of the elitist north shore beaches. This beach is only $5 and has services so you will get an eclectic mix of people from Lynn and the neighboring towns.

People will try to surf depending on tide.

The water stays shallow for a really long time so it's very safe for small children.

The MDC grooms the beach daily so the gray sand stays clean. Beware of the Park Rangers if you were planning on boozing and smoking on this Non Smoking Dry Public Beach.

Amazing beach with clean water and sand. Fun place to go and it's right next to Lynn Beach. Parking is along the main road. Gets very busy during weekends and evenings.

A nice and relatively clean beach with bathrooms at the half-mile marks. They have a decent boardwalk you can enjoy or go down onto the beach itself. Great for walks, running, or bicycling.
