Feels like home, just sitting at home in a busy kitchen like my Grandmas. The hustle and bustle. The mismatched mugs, the random salt and pepper shakers it is the homey vibe you are looking for a home away from home.

I have tried all the food. It is all delicous. The breads, the cookies, the muffins, the sandwiches, the soups. I mean everything it is all delicious.

It is all so so good.

Auntie Cathie’s Kitchen was the best choice for our wedding catering. Cathie, who we struggled to not call Auntie Cathie the entire time, fits right in like a member of the family. She was so excited about our venue and made us feel like she was going to cater our entire wedding with the warmth of a home cooked meal. She delivered on that notion and created an excellent experience for us. She answered our questions diligently and met with us several times to help us put together a delicious menu. Our guests loved the food and we had a great time sharing our wedding experience with her and her staff. She told us that she would make more than enough food which she absolutely delivered on (we had leftovers for weeks!). Other caterers told us that we couldn’t keep extra food which seemed wasteful and counterintuitive. The staff she brought with her were just as kind and enthusiastic as she was. She offered us a price that couldn’t be beat, believing that just because the catering was for a wedding, doesn’t justify price gouging. She was very accommodating with dietary restrictions, which was greatly appreciated as the bride and several guests were gluten-free. I do believe this was her last time catering, so the best way you can support this awesome local business is to stop into Auntie Cathie’s Kitchen and get yourself a nice home cooked meal or a delicious gluten free dessert.

If you’re thinking of coming here for some food, just stop thinking about it and get over here! Their food is absolutely wonderful! This is easily the best chicken salad I’ve ever had in my life (and most of my life revolves around food lol) we also had some of their clam chowder and it’s definitely outstanding! We also tried the gluten free waffles and it’s just to die for. On top of that we chatted a bit with Auntie Cathie herself and she’s such a wonderful and sweet person, she even shared with me a couple of her secrets, still need to find out how she literally makes the best gluten free bread I’ve ever had in my life: get over here and enjoy her superior food ASAP!!!

When I found out I had celiac disease a couple months before my wedding, Cathie saved the day by making my wedding cake and catering brunch on my wedding day. We had a lot of compliments on the cake and many people didn't even realize it was gluten free! And brunch was amazing! The sandwiches were perfect, the quiche was great, the pastries were awesome, everyone loved it! My bridal party was a little skeptical when I told them all the food that morning would be gluten free, but they all enjoyed it the day of. To address some things other reviews have mentioned... Cathie can sometimes sound a little rushed when talking to her, but that's just because they are so busy! She is a super nice person! And things are expensive there because it's a dedicated gluten free/allergy friendly place. As a baker myself I have been discovering just how stinking expensive it is to make safe, tasty, gluten free stuff. And it's really not that expensive compared to other bakeries! Actually, my wedding cake cost a tad bit less than it was going to cost at Atkins Farm, which was a nice surprise. I don't have professional pictures back yet, but I've attached a picture of the cake.

The food was AMAZING. Many gluten free and vegan options. Baked goods also gluten free and vegan.

My daughter was diagnosed with Celiacs a month ago. Today my mother and myself took her out to eat here to lift her spirits and return to some normalcy. My mother and I do not have any food allergies or conditions that require dietary restrictions.

I will be honest...I went there with full expectations to be a bit disappointed. Gluten-free, allergy-friendly food has a reputation for being not a good as standard fare. I am here to report that I was so very wrong.

I got the avocado toast and my daughter chose the apple waffles. I don't think I've had a better breakfast in years...I can honestly say that the gluten-free meal was so good that I'm annoyed we don't live closer to Auntie Cathie so I could have this regularly. My daughter cleaned her plate and had nothing but compliments for the meal.

Of course... we couldn't leave without some baked goods after seeing the display case and tasting the quality of the other dishes. The chocolate cake was excellent... but holy hell was the cinnamon bun worth killing for. I would take this gluten free cinnamon bin over Cinnabon... words I never thought I'd utter.

I don't know Aunt Cathie or anyone who works there. I've got no skin in this game. I just want to give praise where it has been oh-so-rightfully earned. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. I'd give double the stars if I could and I'll definitely be visiting again.

I’ve been going to auntie Cathie’s since she opened on elm street in west Springfield. Now she is located in Agawam which is a bit v closer to me! All her food is FANTASTIC . You will never not like anything she makes! We had her cater for my daughters 1st birthday who has a dairy, soy and gluten allergy and we keep her nut free. SHE MADE EVERYTHING ALL OF THAT FREE. Cathie and her employee’s are amazing. Everyone at the party. Couldn’t BELIEVE it was all of that free. I think my uncle put it best . “ not only does this food taste good but the best part about it is I won’t be sh*tting myself after!” Lol
I can not recommend her enough. The Price point was incredible too! Less expensive than other places that weren’t even allergen free! We also had SO much left over food and desserts. We purchased for 50 people but probably could have fed 100! (We had so much desserts we couldn’t put them all out at once lol) Go try her food out you won’t regret it!

Food was great, and the front of house ladies were very nice. Loved the decor, it was whimsical and fun.
Bakery case looked 100% gluten free, and there was no shortage of cupcakes, brownies, lemon treats.
I had the bacon egg and cheese and the h7sband had the meatloaf sandwich. A special shout out to the coleslaw, not too wet, not too sweet, not too acidic.
Coffee was a self serve situation with plenty of sugar substitute options, which I appreciate, and an eclectic selection of tea (including Stash which is a personal favorite). Will be back, mostly likely with my mom and dad who love a mom and pop eatery.

Amazingly kind and accommodating! Helped me with last minute cupcake rescue for a birthday and everything turned out wonderful! Delicious too, especially for gluten free!!❤

I love to stop by if any my family with me, and they are wonderful to provide a gluten free and vegan. My most favorite is Apple waffle, so great. I will going to that place again soon.

The GF Waffles with strawberries and dairy-free whipped cream was amazingly flavorful! Nothing artificial and no funny aftertaste. So nice to be able to dine and not worry about hidden ingredients!

Absolutely delicious food and drink! Great coffee and breakfast. Everything was wonderful. The warm cozy but fun vibe of the atmosphere and the friendliness of staff are truly the cherry on top. Brought some cupcakes and cookies home and they did not disappoint!!! 100% recommend!

We had a delight meal at Auntie Cathies Kitchen. Fresh homemade, vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free choices as well as standard ( actually nothing was standard) fare. I marvelled as plate after plate of yummy goodness made its way to each table. I had a "lobster grilled cheese". Plenty of lobster, homemade bread. It was delicious!

This restaurant quickly became a favorite among friends and family. The selection is extensive, the ingredients are fresh, the servings are bountiful, and the staff are warm, friendly, attentive.
Local art is also available!

This place has the BEST gluten free food I've ever had! The staff are friendly and the service is wonderful. I eat here regularly. Definitely on my top 5 list of local restaurants.

I LOVE Auntie Cathie's! I have been a patron since she was at her previous location. The food is always to die for. I have celiac, and it means so much to have a locally owned, safe place for me to eat. Her portions are huge, so you'll probably need a to go box! And don't forget to grab all the baked goodies like cupcakes and muffins before you leave. The inside is decorated eclecticly and gives such good vibes! Cathie takes pride in her business, and it shows. Everything I've ever ordered is delicious so you can't go wrong with anything you choose!
