First time here! Wonderful place for all your German heritage! The market has everything but the restaurant is where this place takes the gold! Can be a little bit of a wait because it only holds very few guests. But the food is traditional and true. The beverages are amazing as well!... Who doesn't love a great beer? 🍺!!!! Looking for a traditional German meal... Look no further. Karl's is the place to go.

Happy to get some sausages and cheese you can not find in your regular grocery store. Love the liverwurst the white sausage, my recommendations is also for the blood sausage, delicious with boil potatoes and apples sauce

The store part is a perfect example of an old school German grocery store. All it's lacking is the Bäckerei! They more than make up for it with their hausmade sausages and imported meats and cheeses from Europe.
They also offer a little café where you can get everything for a traditional "Kaffee und Kuchen" (coffee and cake) to a Stammtisch (regular meetup to drink and socialize). The staff is friendly and helpful. Don't let its small size deceive you, it is packed to the brim with everything you need to recreate a little bit of Germany in the US.
Also, just like in Germany they don't do tips.

Excellent german and polish food. It's the only one spot in the North Shore area. Great variety and friendly service.

I love Karl's Sausage. Great place for a bite, delicious and fresh food. I always get the smoked bacon sliced thick, better quality and PRICE than anywhere else, especially in grocery stores. All the sausages are delicious so don't leave without a stock for the near and far future. The market part is a bit on the pricier side but I assume it's because of importing. Always a high recommendation to everyone I know who likes German food or is from Germany. Braunwerst and Chorizo are fantastic...

Excellent assortment of house-made sausages, European cheeses, imported delicacies, and holiday decorations. Almost an hour from our home, but worth the trip!

A small parasise if you like german sausage, cheese, crackers, chocolate, jams, cakes, crackers or beer (just to name a few). The store is packed with products but can get crowded as isles are fairly narrow.

First off! Several people prior to me complained about the pricing. They are dead wrong! The prices are very reasonable. The service was perfect thanks to Bob he explained all the different types of sausage. I drove an hour and a half to check out this store and I will definitely be back thanks again.

Great German food...How had I missed this for years??? Heart beer and a large menu of traditional German fare. Mix that with friendly staff and you have a can't miss!

This grocery/Cafe combination is a real gem. Friendly people, great food and, to be perfectly honest, the sausage I've had here has been better than most I've had in Germany!

This place is absolutely the best! Best brats I had in years oh, and it's a full market, so you can even get these to serve at your own cookout!

We love Karl's! We've been visiting this shop for 25 years, even way back when they were still on Route 1 in Saugus. Everything they make is excellent. I had them make 40+ pounds of venison sausage for us and it was out of this world. So good! We are fans and patrons for life.

Great service! Authentic yummy German food, chocolates and Bier!

While visiting my daughter, she suggested we go here and what a treat it was. The Nurembergrer sausages tasted like we were back in Germany. And we took home some Weisswurst which were delicious.
