I am so happy to see this place is still open. I bought a car here in 2000ish. Doc sold me a 1980something Chevy Beretta for $1600. He “financed” it for me. A very broke, mom of two, working her way through college.

We went for a test drive. He told me, “I sell cheap cars to poor people.” Ya know what? In my case at least, he was spot effing on.

I paid him weekly and that damn car lasted me years.

Anyhow, twenty three years later, this is probably the one and only time I bought a great car for a fair price from someone I not only respected, but remember fondly.

That favor helped me finish my degree. And buy my family a home. And on and on…

Thanks for helping the little folks when it seems the whole world is out to get us
