I haven’t been to the dentist in years due to anxiety. I called today to try to get an appointment because one of my wisdom teeth are giving me some problems, they got me an appointment within 20mins. I am writing this post because of the experience I had with the tech who saw me. I explained why I haven’t been to the dentist in years and they validated my feelings and did everything they could to make sure I was comfortable the whole time. I was too anxious to catch their name but, I wanted to shout them out. Their kindness meant everything to me and I am not feeling as anxious about going back.

I went to pick up my oldest boy (40) breathing medication. His commute to work 1hour 15 minutes. So I drove out there. Very nice people. My son loves his doctor. Nice, clean and professional.

Did not wait to long and they re great with kids

Dr. Elizabeth O'Dair was right. Doctors that end up injuring the patient or complications arise from their procedure and then abandon patient and expect the primary care doctor or equivalence to manage the issue, such as pain, are irresponsible. You go in for a procedure, inpatient or outpatient, and come out in worse condition. Obviously brought on by medical intervention (treatment).

Be careful with referrals. Referrals in Massachusetts are being used to avoid responsibility for outcome of care and continued care of patient. That is why referrals are now an office policy, not necessary insurance. For instance, when the PCP or Dentist refers you for a procedure the specialist, requires a referral, takes no responsibility for complications that arise from procedure and post operative is virtually non existent. The specialist won't even contact the referring doctor with concerns you bring forward. The specialist sends you back, with spoken brushing off attitude, to PCP or Dentist. This pattern, common now, is completely dismissive of the wellbeing of patient and down right rude. Big money with "in and out procedures and treatments" and referrals are being used to minimize potential liability from medical error, mistake, or in this case, disregard for obligation with continium care and treatment (that is, intentional neglect of responsibility to patient and negligence of their life). I like dr. O'Dair but she hasn't taken new patients in 6 years. I call often and she doesn't have room for me according to those that answer phone at center. Too bad cause good PCPs are hard to come by.

Very on Point very rare are they so busy to not get back to you in a timely fashion my PCP is awesome they care

Wonderful team. Care about patients dental care. Explain care needed, facts, and work to resolve issues oral care for all patients even MA Health, or medicaid. Do not discriminate. 😊

Chicopee health center is better than holyoke health center not so over crowded.
