Springfield Union Station

Great station and wonderful city with deep historic links to the Underground Railroad.

The station is a major connection for north-south and east-west travelers. It is a beautiful grand space, always clean with ample seating and there are many outlets for charging your cell phones.

One of the cool things is that Union Station also connects to Peter Pan and Greyhound Buses, plus you can catch the local Buses from there as well.

The thing I like the most about this station is the convenience. Because it’s a small station, it’s so easy to find your way around it. Convenience pick up and drop off point right outside the station and there’s usually no traffic around here. The station decoration is a bit strange but I like it’s uniqueness. For example it has a barber chair in a glass box or has dining set on display. Doesn’t make sense but is cute

This train station was exponentially larger that the one in Waterbury, VT. They had a Subway, Dunkin Donuts and Convenience store on site. The staff was extremely helpful when it came to giving us directions to the correct platform and track. Nice restrooms as well and centrally located.

Calm and clean. Interesting exhibits. Signage very good! There’s even a book exchange station!

The signs are very clear and easy to read. Parking was easy to find and was affordable. It'd easy to find your way around the bus and train areas of the station. The bathrooms are large and clean. I quite liked the ambiance inside the station. It felt safe and secure.

Everything is cleans.. safety, and this kiosk is a good spot where you can find good stuff

Great station in springfield if u need a bus a peterpan bus or amtrak its the place to go to.for.your traveling needs

I had to pick up my Neighbor there last week. It reminds me of when it closed back in 1973. Great renovations.

The station was renovated in the past few years to accommodate investment in the CTrail and Amtrak trains. It's a great way to get between Western Mass and a number of major cities in Connecticut, and on to NYC with many worthwhile stops in between.
The building is well-maintained. The bathrooms are cleaned frequently. The convenience store is usually open. Elevators go up to the train platform on the roof.
There are some wall murals and displays about the history of Springfield.

Clean and friendly station

I think its way more organized at union station then the old bus station...The place is clean as can be..and well policed ..

Coming here to catch the bus or train or Peter Pan bus or greyhound bus for traveling. They have a convenience store and Dunkin’ Donuts. I don’t know at what time they open and close. But feels like Dunkin’ Donuts opens after 6 and I think the same with the convenience store. Because last time that I was catching the train at 5 something in the morning they was closed.

Friendly service desk, friendly drivers, good scheduling of rides! Also has a great lobby it has a Dunkin' Donuts!

Beautifully restored, great security with an organization who knows how to run this facility...you should check out this station as it is just incredible.

Beautiful and functional train station. Conveniently located downtown.

Easy access to all buses, indoor bathroom facilities at both ends of the terminal, as well as a unit designed for use if you have infants(babies).
