Anchor House Restaurant and Catering

This was our very first visit, but it wont be our last. The mister and I kept seeing "local restaurants" pop up in our FB feeds, and the seared ahi caught our eye.

Walking in we didn't know what to expect, and we were slightly surprised by the bar lounge area, and what appears to be the "regular crowd". When we walked in we were seated in the back, restaurant area, overlooking the pond.

The service was super over the top attentive. The food was great, in portion, presentation, and flavor.

We were very pleased, and look forward to returning again.

First time I have been in that building since the 70's! When I was really little and the big pot was hanging out front, my mom put me in the pot to take a picture! Today was a wonderful meal and the service was excellent! Our waitress was serving 14 of us! She did a wonderful job and was very pleasant!

We didn't even have to wait. We were seated right away. The atmosphere was real nice. The food was great. And our waitress (Rachel) was very nice, polite, and friendly. We would recommend this restaurant to people we know. And we ourselves will return to dine.

Excellence place for a bite to eat! Coming from a guy that loves his food, this place is a hidden gem. Christmas party with even santa hanging out. Great staff and chef Alex is an amazing cook. Also, love the new renovations done with a huge screen. Also talking to the bar manager Carl and they are even getting 6 new craft beers on tap. I highly recommend this place for anyone that enjoys a good beer and some tasty food done right!!!

My mother used to bring us to the Lake behind the restaurant to swim when I was about 5 yrs old (I am 60+ now). We used to also go in and eat and it was wonderful. So many great memories, I am so happy it's still there but wondering, where is the big pot that used to be outside?

Waitress Elizabeth was phenomenal !
Wide selection of appetizers, entrees and specials, including Seafood dishes, meat, and pasta . The thai shrimp was delicious.
Desert selection was excellent. Cheesecake was the special today. Very good!
Food was excellent overall.
Tiffany style lamps in the room overlooking lake could stand to be updated, and paint the knotty pine.

Best food in Wilbraham!

It was all there. The service (Liz was awesome), the fare and the ambiance...all great. What a nice surprise! Reasonable prices. I would recommend the coconut seared scallops with julienne apple. Served with bread and bruschetta, garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. We had the creme brûlée for dessert! Yum!

BEST Restaurant in western mass.The service is outstanding and very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. The staff treats you like family from start to finish & the food presentation was beautiful. I will definetly be going back again soon.

Booked a funeral meal for 21 2 days in advance. The staff were kind and eager to please, the service was amazing, and the food was delicious. Everyone in our group was pleased.

Great food and service, best meal I've had in a long time! The patio was a great relaxed dining atmosphere with a beautiful riverview!

The chef was extremely kind. He came out and he talked with me and my family. You can tell he is very passionate about his cooking and what he serves to his guests.

We had the best server her name was Ashley lunch was absolutely terrific the place is very homey and very friendly customers that come to the bar are willing to conversate with you and just have a good time I love the place and I'll be back many times and I think you should try it

Has all you need for all your Seafood Cravings excellent establishment for any type of seafood the scallops are out of this world customer service is beyond you can imagine very attentive they do a lot of fundraisers and give back to the community you can also have a full bar with Keno the scenery of the back first floor and second floor are breathless of the lake and reasonable prices just a very nice staple of Wilbraham
