Excellent food at very fair prices, some of the best dumplings and wonton soup I've had! my two friends and I shared one of the family combos and were totally stuffed AND still had leftovers. The hostess was very kind and accommodating when my friend asked for extra tofu. I would definitely recommend!

Literally the best chinese food in the area, and I’ve tried all of them before I gave this one a chance. I didn’t need to waste my time.

I rarely leave reviews, less it's really good or absolutely awful. I like these guys, I'm new to area, Lady is nice, it's hard finding a good Chinese restaurant. These guys are definitely one of the tops around. I don't go out to eat often, yet I can't help myself and go here twice a month. Best Chinese restaurant in the Springfield area.

I've ordered takeout a few times here now after not being thrilled with the nearby buffet. I get a PuPu and fried rice, nothing special. I like the food and the friendly greeting I've gotten each time. I recommend it.

I would give this place 10 stars if i could. During the beginning of the pandemic they were closed and i unfortunately had to try other places. It was painful the other food couldn't hold a candle stick to China Star. My husband and I drop over 100 dollars every time because the food quality is that good. We like to get a little of everything. Even the leftovers are amazing the next day. You always know what to expect. I had to come on and write this review because I just had Chinese food for the 2nd time in a month from somewhere other than here ( not by choice but because i work in Springfield and had to) and it was absolutely terrible to the point where i just threw it away. I just want China Star to know they are appreciated . I wish they delivered so i never had to order from another place again.

This Chinese food restaurant is highly consistent and their food tastes good. We routinely order the basics (chicken fingers, pork fried rice, and crab rangoons). The service is friendly and quick. There are about 8 tables for seating, but most people order for take out. Most orders take just about 10 minutes to complete. They have added new items to their menu in the past year or so after the ownership change. If you are on the fence about trying a new Chinese restaurant tonight, take a chance on this one.

This place has the FASTEST food prep time I've ever experienced. They not only have great prices... they also have delicious Chinese food. You can call them to order a take out meal and it'll be ready by the time you get there(realistic time is about 10-15 mins.. really fast.) They have a wide variety of different kinds of Chinese dishes that we know and love. Crab rangoons are a personal favorite of mine along with the meal deals they have that are very competitively priced.

If you're looking for a great take out place cause you're craving Chinese food that's cooked to perfection... CHINA STAR is a great place to find it.

Our go to spot for take out Chinese in the area. No complaints. Extremely consistent with the quality, taste and service. Fair prices. They are the only ones who make General Tsao’s spicy like it should be.

You get what you pay for, the portions are smaller as some other comments stated but the food is the best around. They are REALLY fast too. Very friendly too. It's a little small so I wouldn't recommend dining in.

They are def 5 star...they get to know their customers nd what they like nd how they like it. This has been by far the best Chinese food restaurant i have eaten at. Im a Person who does NOT like greasy food especially egg rolls. The egg rolls here are made to perfection. There's NEVER any grease on the egg rolls or my hands. Nonetheless if ever u r dissatisfied with ur order they will redo ur order the way u want it. They r very welcoming nd friendly. The prices also r great. U can actually get a full meal "Happy meal" for 5 bucks i.e. pork fried rice, (3) chicken fingers nd spare ribs. The serving is more than enough for 1 person. I will never eat at another Chinese restaurant nd i recommend this place to any Chinese food lover

The food is always delicious and affordable. The staff is always friendly, able to understand me on the phone clearly. The service is clean and done in a timely manner. Will miss this place once we move

The absolute best beef teriyaki around! They also have really good house lo mein. People are always friendly when I go in. Not much of a place to sit in eat. More of something to take out.

my favorite Chinese food in western mass. always quick, fresh, good flavor and quality at an excellent price. Building is nothing fantastic but the food is great. prices are reasonable aswell.

The looks of this place can be very deceiving honestly looks terrible BUT the food was amazing I got the poo poo plater for 2 and everything was fanominal! The best thing was the crab ragoon! If you or your significant other wants some really good Chinese I would go here!
