Main Street Tavern

I had a burger with fries about a week ago and thought it was the best burger and fries I've had at a restaurant in recent years. Honestly, the hand cut fries were some of the very best fries I've ever had. Tasty, perfectly fried and nice potato flavor. The burger was above average, fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked to my specification, and perfectly priced. They also have this warm gorgonzola dressing/dip that I thought was absolutely delicious. I look forward to eating here again and trying more of their menu!

Kind of found this place on a whim. I was in the mood for poutine but didn't want to head to the Big E. I found out that they serve it and decided to go.
The poutine was excellent. The best I've had outside of Canada. A bit more black pepper and it would have been perfect. That was an easy fix with the shaker that was on the table. The gravy had a nice strong beef flavor and was nice and thick. The portion was more than enough for one person. So much so, that I barely ate the homemade potato chips that I wanted to try too.
The chips were good, but slightly overdone for my tastes. The dipping sauce that came with them was kind of bland.
My blueberry beer was excellent and so was the service. I liked the vibe of the place.
Next time I'm going to try their homemade pasta, sauce, and sausage.

This place never disappoints. We love having a drink and some delicious apps or dinner. Bonus, we get some keno time. Bartener and waitstaff are super friendly!

Nice app of brussel sprouts, dinner was good as well. Never see a waiting line. Parking is street parking so a little tough to find a spot. Service has been excellent.

Absolutely hands down the best homemade pasta ever. This place is fabulous, the food is through the roof and the waitstaff is extremely personable. My number one restaurant for sure. They let you experience the entire meal, every course not rushing you out like most restaurants. You will love this place.

This is everything a main street tavern should be - friendly, fun and welcoming. The only surprise was the food which is definitely a step above regular tavern fare. I was looking forward to a burger, but there were just too many better choices. There's a large bar and plenty of tables, too. The place to be in Monson, MA.

Another charm! Great food! Great atmosphere, love the mural too! We love to gather here with friends or just the two of us, unique thin crusted pizza’s, the best house salads, cold and crisp greens! We’ll be back again and again!

Always a great place to go. Great food good selection on beers bartenders are knowledgeable on mixed drinks. Priced right and local atmosphere you see your neighbors.

The fried haddock was wonderful. The salads were nice and fresh. We were up from NC visiting my sister and brother-in-law and this
was our first time to Main Street. I hope that we'll be back next year.

Ordered the calamari for appetizer, which had great flavor. The dinner salads were good size and the ranch dressing was tasteful. Ordered the haddock picatta and it was excellent! Nice piece of fish - enough to take home for left overs. Will go back again.

Our favorite meal is the grilled salmon, which comes with a house salad, vegetable side (perfectly seasoned and sauteed yellow squash and zucchini) and rice. I'm sure there are other side options, but this is what we almost always get, it's so yummm!! 10/10
I've had the French Onion soup, pretty good, considering its my favorite soup to eat out and each restaurant has their own version...this one is a 6-7/10.

I always plan on trying the Chicken Francaise, which is a huge favorite of mine, but always end up with the Salmon! Maybe next time I'll get the Chicken Francaise!?

Sometimes its a little too noisy in there, but worth it!

This was the closest restaurant to where we were so we gave it a shot and we are so happy that we did!!
Jake, our waiter had a great attitude and seemed to really like working here.
We got burgers; the French onion soup burger with mushrooms added and a bacon cheeseburger. We were thrilled at how FRESH and Tasty everything was!! The burgers were cooked to perfection and the fries were not frozen and yummy. Although we didn’t try any, they have a really delicious looking variety of fall cocktails. Sadly we were too full to eat anything else.
I highly recommend this restaurant! Great food, great value and super staff!

Came here for my daughter's birthday. Service was great! Food was absolutely fantastic!!!! Everything was excellent. The pasta dishes were out of this world!!!!!! Definitely will be back

We were greeted by friendly staff and the food came fast and delicious. They have some unique dishes and homemade pasta. The owner was even making his rounds to make sure everyone was happy.

Fabulous as always!! Tonight I had the Tavern Salmon and it was probably one of the best dishes I've ever had. Previously had fish and chips which was very good! Hubby loves their homemade pasta and tries a new type every time we go. Appetizers today we're the Brussel sprouts which we're fabulous! And fried mozzarella which was very good as well!! Love having such an amazing restaurant in our little town. Our waitress tonight was exceptional too!!

Fell in love with martinis first and amazing staff. Came for dinner today and had their Puttanesca. Such an amazing sauce and their homemade fresh pasta is the best! Highly recommend this gem in Monson. Will be coming back for more amazing food.

It's the best resturant in town, maybe the best in all hampden county. The drinks are excellent. The fish and chips and the chicken parm are the best things on the menu. The homemade pasta is amazing, it really is the best pasta I've had at a resturant. The fish is just so fresh, light, and buttery, not too heavily breaded. I also love the calamari appatizer, never overcooked or rubbery, just right. Went back through my camera roll looking for photos because I usually take some but... looks like I always eat the food too fast.

The service was amazing and the steak, vegetables, and fries were even better! I would recommend to any and everyone...😀
