Big Y World Class Market

This grocery store has everything! The selection is great and the prices are very good. The quality and variety of the pre-made food was excellent!

This place has some rough days. So many associates were grumpy last week, and I often wonder how management is treating them. But today was like walking into a totally different store. Shout out to Kirk at the deli for helping me keep shopping (I work for instacart) getting that extra time to get items is prime! Second shout out to Aden stocking the shelves! He took a moment while he was busy to see that I needed a product (I was waiting patiently for him to finish) not only acknowledged me, but was incredibly friendly and loaded the packs of water onto my cart. Getting this level of service is incredibly rare in general but twice in the same day? Amazing! Thank you guys!

Very friendly store. Very welcoming entrance with extremely nice employees. The restrooms were well stocked and clean. When we passed by the deli the worker noticed my young son and asked if it was ok to give him a slice of cheese. He was in heaven. Prices are great especially since most of the fruits and veggies were from local farms. The bakery was great. We ordered a small cake and the Baker was so helpful in choosing the right size and flavor frosting. Would highly recommend choosing this location!

Like the Boston road, wilbraham store the best. Best stocked. Always like their deli meats. They seem to last much longer than other area supermarket chains. Have to watch the pricing at Big Y though. I,ve noticed that certain items are higher in some locations than in others. Maybe altering their prices to fit the economic population of the area they are located in?

It's a great place to shop. The store is kept clean and the selection is great. Non-sale items are not the lowest out there, but they more than compensate for that with fantastic buy one get one free deals, and sometimes buy one get TWO free! If you got a young child with you they can get a free slice of cheese from the Deli and a free cookie from the bakery. Just have your child politely ask someone who works in either department.

Best Grocery store in the area and right down the street from us. Best fish in the area, clean and well kept. I'm usually here 3 times a week. Big Y has been around a long time. I'll shop at least 3 of their nearby stores. They carry liquors in some of their stores. Always do a nice job of keeping the store clean and carrying good products. Try B.Y. and you'll see what I mean!

They have made a lot of changes in this store.
More health conscious to vegans and to people who are on special diets (ones of an herbal type), yet still try to gear towards the norm.
The staff are always working to keep up with stocking the shelves and keeping customers happy!
They now offer 6 self check outs for the ease and convenience of cashing yourself out with just a few items and not having to wait in a line for longer orders to clear first! This is such a great thing!
Keep in mind they just started out and are learning ( like we all have to do) on how to work the "glitches" out.

This particular Big Y is always clean, organized and the customer service from every level of employee is exemplary. The seafood department associates are knowledgeable, friendly and go above and beyond.

Good shopping. They have a wide selection of both food and supplies. The bakery, butcher, and seafood departments are great. The only small complaint is the parking spots seem smaller than average.

The staff here are awesome. Good attitude, very helpful. They laugh at my bad jokes too! Even after shopping here for years, it still makes going to other stores feel depressing by comparison.

Use the app! Their Big Y app really improved my trip. I had my list on it so I didn't forget anything. Plus there are coupons. Also I got 10% off my order today. I saved 91.66 off of what would have been a 270.27 trip!

I have been shopping at the Ludlow Big Y for 22 years. I cannot say enough good about this store. Each time I am there I'm kindly greeted. They go out of their way to help and have never closed the door even when it's minutes before the closing hour. Every Big Y I shopped at has the best employees and customer service, particularly the Ludlow Big Y! (and the Wilbraham store too)

I come here for produce and grab and go lunches. The staff has been helpful and the prices are great if you are a silver savings member. Evian water 5 for $5 and even the steak Kabobs are prepped well just throw them on the grill.

I make a homemade spaghetti sauce that people ask me to make and I've tried Hamburg from many different places and only big walleye meets will be the only thing that makes my spaghetti sauce the way it's supposed to be and I think their customer service is top notch and I appreciate all of their fresh products

I use to go to Chicopee and South Hadley for the Pizza, until I had a negative experience with some rude woman working in S/ Hadley pizza shop. She should be fired or at the very least be put stocking shelves away from customer interactions. Never had a problem with Ludlow Big Y, always friendly and fresh pizza.
