Food was delicious! Piping hot, large portions, full of flavor. We did take out for an at home date night. The pork was tender and sauce was just right with the level of spice. The steak and shrimp was hot and steak cooked medium, as requested, without being dry. Potatoes dully cooked with just enough bit to not be mushy. Vegetables were on point too as they were fully cooked in a julienne cut but squash just crisp enough. I had enough for a second meal the next day.

Excellent food. I asked chef to make a dinner with mussel appetizer and he did.

One of the best restaurants I have been to I have been coming here for many years . Best Portuguese restaurant. Amount of food, and price. Consistency in the quality and flavor of the food.

Fried chicken wings with Amelia’s sauce are a must try! Home style shrimp is my favorite dish it’s absolutely amazing!

The five stars is for their customer service. My chicken wings were good. My friends did not have the same experience with their meal and drinks. We will go back just for beers.

Great Atmosphere and great bartenders. I had a Espresso which was delicious. The Lounge definitely gave the feel of a 70's Style Bar and it was just like stepping back into a time machine.

I've heard of them and great reviews and I went for a pool watching party for a candidate for City council. I had such good conversations with patrons and it was kind of on the political spectrum which I try to stay away from because some people are staunch one-sided or the other. We ended up understanding each other so well that it's not extreme to one side or the other and it was so enjoyable to have a good adult conversation lol.
The chef I ended up talking to was so fun and helpful and for the candidate we were there for on their own made her a couple platters.
The bartender was excellent, wonderful patrons it's a good atmosphere and a good place to be. I will definitely go back. Just because it's an enjoyable atmosphere.

This was my first time there for a candidate for City council poll watching party.
The patrons, bartender and the wonderful wonderful chef were so outgoing and inviting I had the greatest time I've had in a long long time. There was one patron we were talking about politics and we ended up being on the opposite side of the spectrum but we agreed that we need to be more in the middle and accepting of each person's views whether it be the two of us that were talking or anybody in the world. You might not agree with someone but never push your views on another person.
We as a society have to start accepting other people and not judging them for their beliefs. Again I had the greatest time and I will be back!

Food is amazing... atmosphere feels like a fun loving family party... service is accommodating and respectful... all around good Time!

Just ordered takeout two baked stuffed shrimp dinners, amazing!! New to the area and didn’t feel like pizza so glad we tried this!! We will be new regulars!

Great food, inexpensive drinks and friendly staff make for a fine experience whether dining, drinking or both. Pool, darts, and lottery are all fun and there's some leagues out of the bar. Small covered outdoor area for smoking is nice when it rains.

Attended fundraiser in dining room area. The group was pleasantly surprised to learn that Solar not only donated their dining area to the cause but also a dinner buffet for guests attending the event. What a generous surprise ... Food was excellent & server was awesome!

Gives off a Cheers vibe. Friendly people, great service, and awesome authentic Portuguese food.
