My wife and I purchased a sofa, love seat, ottoman and rocking chair from Roby's in October of 2017. We spent more than we have ever spent on furniture, as we are getting older and thought we would finally get something nice for ourselves, now that the kids are grown. We purchased a " top notch" brand and after a few weeks we noticed more and more snags in the fabric. It was completely the manufacturer's issue. we contacted Roby's about it way after their 10 day return policy. The Manufacturer would not help us at all, however, Roby's came through big time. They took the sofa and love seat back, gave us a complete refund and even gave us the 20 percent we got off the first deal to put toward 2 new custom pieces. We choose a different manufacturer and were able to afford a new love seat and sofa in the colors we liked and we were able to purchase another sofa with the extra! I can't say enough about this company. They really do want to please their customers and have many repeat customers. Now we have our new pieces and we are even happier with them than the original. A big shout out to: Jeremy and Brenda who worked tirelessly with us to get just the right thing. A big thumbs up to Chris and Devin, who are Roby's movers. they have been to our place 4 times and are always on time , professional, friendly, and expert movers. They really go above and beyond!

My family needed an additional mattress for our home. I went into Roby's, knowing their good reputation, but have not purchased from there before. Brenda was so helpful. She was patient with all my questions, very knowledgeable about the mattresses and gave me time to mull over my decision. I bought the mattress with confidence thanks to Brenda's help. She arranged delivery for the mattress and two gentleman came to my home. They called beforehand with their time of arrival. Conner and German were so careful in my home. Friendly, courteous, and professional. I'm so appreciative. Thank you!

We had an outstanding experience at Roby's Furniture & Appliance. Since the 1970s, we'd bought almost all our furniture and appliances from Rice Furniture in McMinnville. So when Roby's bought the store, we were heartbroken at losing the good, trustworthy, helpful staff of Rice's. Not to worry. They're still there.

We live in West Salem. When our refrigerator went out and Craig's Appliance Repair determined it was not worth fixing, we started shopping around. We were on the verge of buying a refrigerator from a big-box store in Salem when we decided to at least visit Roby's.

We left Roby's feeling very good about our purchase: an honest price; excellent appliance manager who knew his stuff; and friendly and not pushy service. Our experience with Roby's refrigerator delivery was just as good. The crew had to take off the front door and screen door to get the refrigerator in; they carefully covered it so wouldn't bruise anything and carefully moved other furniture out of the way in our little house as they made their way to the kitchen. Before they left, they put everything back together, made sure everything on the refrigerator was working properly and gave me understandable instructions on how to use the refrigerator. We bought a Maytag, which was not the highest-rated refrigerator in Consumer Reports (which I studied extensively) but the refrigerator was definitely worth the price and the service was outstanding. The manual that came with the refrigerator also is understandable -- and helpful!

We bought a new refrigerator and a washer & dryer for our new house. We liked that Roby's was local and they had good prices relative to the other places we scouted. Brenda helped discuss some options for us when we visited the store, and when we were ready to buy a few weeks later she helped process everything for us in a timely manner. The bummer was that the refrigerator and washer & dryer showed up at different times from wherever they were being transported from, but Brenda was so kind as to only charge us once for delivery! The delivery guys were awesome, they made sure not to make any dings on the house or the appliance(s) when trying to move them into the house; the gigantic refrigerator was particularly tough. I had a nice time chatting with those guys as well, and they helped install and make sure everything was functional before they left. Overall, we had a great experience with Roby's. I hope our appliances last for 50 years, but if we needed new ones we would definitely go back.

Roby's had a good selection of beds and delivered the very next day. Brenda was great to deal with and very helpful. After a week we decided the mattress was to hard for us. Roby's exchanged it with no problem what so ever. First class furniture store all around.

Had a great experience buying a new Refrigerator at Roby's. Chris and Devin helped install the fridge and they did a great job. They were very polite and considerate as they removed the old fridge and installed the new one. We did a lot of shopping previously with Rice's and plan to continue to shop at Roby's.

We recently purchased some living room furniture from Roby's and worked with Brenda Halverson. Brenda was absolutely great! It always felt like she had our best interest in mind and she worked many hours with us. Her design expertise was ever so helpful. I would definitely go back when in need of more furniture or accessaries.

We built a new house and purchased all of our kitchen appliances through Rice Furniture, went back and purchased our carpeting and our other flooring. They've always been super nice, and very friendly. I went to another furniture store, and purchased power lift chairs for my parents, and was very unhappy with the quality and the customer service. Just last week, I purchased new power lift chairs for them through Rice Furniture and they're on their way! We've always been treated well at Rices and have been very happy with quality, installation and service. I would recommend them highly.

Recently, I purchased a new mattress at Roby's in McMinnville. The process was made much easier with the helpful advice of Brenda. Once I bought the new mattress is was delivered and set-up by Devin and Bret who did the heavy lifting in record time. These three employees assure that I will return to Roby's in the future.

Finally moved out of th RV and back into a stick & brick home...needed lots of furniture! At the time, Roby’s was transitioning into what was once Rice Furniture. I purchased several pieces and had them held in the warehouse until I closed on my new home. My items were delivered by an outstanding crew of four. The two which stand out are Andy & Chris. They packed in some incredibly heavy items, many upstairs! Sadly some additional chairs for my dining table were the wrong stain color, another chair cracked trim. Replacements were immediately ordered and delivered by Chris. Unfortunately one of the replacement chairs had a leg with wood of questionable quality. The defect was discovered by the delivery crew when they assembled the chair (Chris). Again, replacements were ordered & delivered. It has been a pleasure doing business with this company.

Our experience with Roby's in McMinnville was excellent! We conducted business with Shaina exclusively through email. She was incredibly helpful, quick to respond, answered ALL of my very detailed questions, and she made me feel confident with my large purchase! We will definitely be doing business with Roby's in the future!

I was shopping for a mattress and Rudy was awesome and so knowledgeable on what to look for that was tailored to my needs. I actually bought the adjustable base first and I look forward to an awesome deal at year end prices for my mattress. I appreciate all the time and patience everyone gave. I would highly recommend them. Ask for Rudy if your looking for a mattress!

Nice friendly place to shop for furniture and appliances. Brenda Halverson, our salesperson, was great! She was very knowledgeable about the different brands of furniture and appliances. We didn't really care for our couch and loveseat after it was delivered, they had no problem letting us pick something else and delivering in it's place.

Was looking to purchase a new mattress set. Brenda was our sales person and was very knowledgeable. She took her time and we never felt rushed on this big decision. She made what could've been a very exhausting shopping experience a pleasure and we walked out with exactly what we were looking for.

The sales person, Beth, was very good. Directed us to what we need to be looking for and then gave us plenty of space to decide. Also offered us coffee. The delivery men David and Matt were really great. They moved a chair we needed moved to put our new recliner. Then they had to bring the recliner up stairs(a set of stairs to a platform and then up more stairs), through the narrow door, and up 3 steps that were also very narrow. The recliner barely fit. Then down 3 steps to be set in our living room. Smiling the whole time. Great guys. Thank you

Bret and Devin did an exceptional job of setting up our new adjustable mattress platform. They notified us ahead of time of their arrival, and were courteous and professional in their work.
