I’ll answer your first question. Yes, you should come here! They really have something special going on here. A dive bar with a kitchen doing different takes on normal bar favorites you wouldn’t expect, with an intimate performance venue and warm atmosphere. A performance venue organized by well thought out booking and planning. A wide variety of performers and musical talent that can draw many a crowd to this gem! An incredibly hospitable and friendly staff. Try the blue fish melt, or hot roast beef! They have great oysters and TRY THE QUAIL EGGS! On any given night you can find a fun time or incredible performer behind these doors. On Thursday nights, it is home to one of the most popular open mic comedy nights in New England, drawing not only from local talent, but from the Tri-state and NYC talent and much further. An awesome time and great mood to be a part of. Don’t miss your chance to say you were at this place, because it really is a special place and experience.

Very cool place. Pleasantly surprised with what has opened up here. The interior is uniquely imagined, with unique shapes and objects covering every inch of the bar room. The ambiance is brought via a record player and they’ve got a decent selection of music from days past to listen to.

Also, they’re having a legend from podcasts past, Matt Fulchiron, doing standup tonite. The owner said he’s talking to Dean Del Ray also. Awesome. The only complaint is they don’t have Bud Light Orange :(

Update: Chatted with who I think is the owner, who was very gracious and receptive to my original review. Table service substantially improved since our last visit, and food/cocktails are still consistently stellar. The fact that they attend to reviews and are quick to address them is impressive. So happy we went back to what's turning into our favorite place for food and drinks in Westfield. I highly recommend it.

Original review: I'll start by saying I really like this place - the drinks are incredible, and in particular, their cheese and charcuterie platter is worth the money. Atmosphere is like a 1920's speakeasy. The only setback is that on each visit, our table service took way too long (and it was not that busy) as most attention is given to bar patrons. Most recently, early on a Saturday night, they didn't have the alcohol needed for two of their cocktails, and it took 30 minutes to get the one I ordered. I really want this place to do well, and I still recommend it, just be prepared to wait if you're seated at a table.

Great place for cocktails and upscale bar food. Kitschy, fun vibe and good liquor selection. Trust them for a well-made drink.

Really awesome place that's tucked away in downtown Westfield! Fantastic food and drinks and the wait staff are are super nice!

A pretty sweet place with live music. Hard to go wrong! Strong mixed drinks, though mostly IPAs for beer. Do note the can of ear plugs in the event room... maybe it should be outside the entrance. Good place to get a mosh going.

Food is a tad pricey until you see the portions. The roast beef sandwiches are huge and stuffed.
Staff are some of the coolest cats you'll meet.
Hands down one of the best local joints.

Great bar with knowledgeable bartenders. A few of us were all ordering cocktails and passing them around and they were all delicious. The hot olives are incredible. Sandwiches are on another level.

At Hutghi's at The Nook, I had a wonderful time. The crowd was pleasant, the music was excellent, and the ambiance was upbeat and exciting. The bartenders were talented and created delectable drinks. I urge you to sample their specialty beverage; it was amazing!

Great little hole in the wall. Drinks are great and they have local brews and ciders. Music is played on vinyl and the last time I was there the bartender heard me mention a band I wanted to hear and put on their album. Nice atmosphere with a good vibe.

The coolest little underground scene in Westfield. Owned by two converted Cali-boys, these two have added the "cool" element to the downtown scene. Every unique liquor you can only find there make their signature cocktails alone a reason to visit. Pair these libation treasures with a feeling of walking into the past with everything from decor to drinking glasses, an amazing, ever-changing, fresh, and similarly unique menu, and you've got a winning ensemble sure to impress any out of town guest or mark that special occasion with style. They have live stand up comedy and even added blues night! Best spot, must visit!!

Hutghi's is a friendly dark nook anytime with no TV taking you away from the real people around you. But I LOVE the dollar oysters and open mic music hosted by Dan Harvester on Wednesdays. Love local music at pass the hat prices. Check it out!

Great place to go with friends. Love the oysters, always fresh and tasty, the roast beef sandwich is always a enjoyable. They play a wide variety of vinyl records....the staff is friendly and can make any drink as well as the drinks on the menu. All in all a fun place to go.

Definitely will be returning to this place. They had some great craft beer and cocktails. They have a small menu but it is very eccentric as I enjoyed the pickled quail eggs. However, on Wednesday and Thursday they have $1 oysters and their oysters were DELICIOUS!

!! an absolute gem. kevin and andy were so great to talk to— super kind, and just down right genuine humans. from the vintage tchotchkes decorating the space, to the vinyl spinning (television, iron maiden, and zeppelin alone - while we were there), the great drinks (house made jalapeño gin;) + food, it feels like you’re at a home away from home. don’t sleep on hutghis—

Staff was great, and the fact that the music in the bar is from vinyl was awesome. Food was great too.
