Tavern Restaurant

I have been here a few times before, and I have enjoyed it every time. This time I got the chicken parm, and it was very good. For some reason, the pasta is treated as a side and comes separately, but then again the main portion of chicken is very large so I can see why they would want to divide them. The sauce is unique in my opinion; sometimes spicy and sometimes sweet, but never both at once. Perhaps it was two different sauces, but if so they were thoroughly mixed.

We were driving through and settled on Tavern Restaurant as the most promising option in 30 miles. We were not disappointed! The three of us had the luncheon special, 10 oz. prime rib with potato and broccoli, which was just $15. Many good beers were on tap. A model train was running around above the bar for the holidays. The service was excellent. I only wish I lived closer so I could visit again soon.

Great variety of meals on the menu ... and amazing service. Food was delicious especially their Au gratin potatoes.

Way exceeded my expectations. Prime rib was excellent. Italian lemon cake was a delight but, even though we shared it we were too full to finish it.

This was my first time at the Tavern restaurant and it was delicious. The waitress was amazing and so attentive. And the price was reasonable. I will definitely go back.

Love the atmosphere and food has been incredible lately. The Cobb salad is HUGE, the chicken Romano is great and prime rib is delicious!

Good friends and food

I and the family (10 though 13 year olds) stopped here for dinner during a road trip and were very pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and friendly service at The Tavern Restaurant. I was reminded of the great restaurants my grandparents used to take me to back when I was a kid and when restaurants did it right: bread and drinks while you peruse the menu, salad or soup while your entree is prepared. The dining room is beautiful and the staff very friendly and attentive. Top notch American restaurant!

It was our first time going to this restaurant, we wanted to try somewhere new. Let me tell you ever since we walked in the atmosphere felt amazing. Everyone so kind and humble. Our server was Nick such a kind soul. He took his time to tells us all the specials and was just so sweet definitely stoled our hearts since he welcomed us ❤

I had their Nachos special and Hot Fudge Ice Cream Puff. Both were excellent. The service was great and refills were made before they were needed. Definitely will return.

Great casual spot! The prices were very reasonable and the food was delicious! Try the Turkey club its the best I've had in awhile!

Wonderful, local eatery. Nice dining area as well as the bar side, with full table service. Tuesday trivia nights have been a favorite and both Lauren and Kari are the best!

0-10 scale, 10 being absolute best, they are 100 with their customer service!! 😍🤩😍🤩 just phenomenal!! The food is fantastic and the portions are big to top it all off. Clean, friendly, and super attentive staff. Prices are reasonable as well to boot. 😃10/10 would HIGHLY recommend and go back! I have NEVER had better service anywhere else than what we had tonight!! ((And I didn't get hurt eating here!))

My group happened upon this place after our original plans fell through and I couldn’t be happier. All of the staff seemed genuinely happy to serve. I commented that our waitress seemed out of place because her quality of service is something I’d expect out of a much fancier place. Plenty of good food to choose, if you’re a bacon lover, the potato skins are for you. The chocolate cake is to die for. Shout out to Chris to going above and beyond looking out for the customers too. Really happy we stumbled on this place in our short visit to Westfield.

Our first time and we loved it! Our waitstaff person was Nick, and he was amazing!! We got chicken parm and chicken Marsala, they were both perfect, and beyond delicious!! We’ll definitely be back. We HIGHLY recommend the Tavern!! Thank you Nick!!!

The food is consistently great. The interior is beautifully decorated for Christmas.

We had a party of 9 celebrating a 95th birthday and they were excellent about taking reservations. Our server Landon was the best and they allowed us to bring in a cake and cut it up and sang happy birthday with us.
