I was able to schedule an appointment within 24 hours of calling. The staff was very courteous and professional. I spent almost an hour there while Dr. Schroeder examined my senior canine twice and explained in detail my options for treating her cancer. And Dr. Schroeder followed up personally with a phone call the following day. I can't recommend them enough.

If you love your pets then definitely bring them here!! Loving, caring people and environment. I have nothing but gratitude and respect for all of the individuals that work here! Very thorough and informative. Always greeted with kindness and my kitty is super loved by all who know him there 💕🙌🏼 They make sure that our boy is in top shape. I just can’t say enough good about these folks! Thank you Dr Clemmens!

This is an apparent continuation to my previous review because it did not post. This animal hospital/clinic is by far one of the best in the entire metro area! All of the docs are so good and kind as well as the staff. Thanks again for a phenomenal visit. Dr Schroeder you’re pretty awesome too!

Every staff member is helpful and kind. I cannot say enough about Dr. Martens who has known my cat since she was 3 months old. Lacee is now entering the end stages of her adult life at 15. We are focusing on managing my pets pain to optimize her care at this time. I appreciate Dr. Martens philosophy regarding quality of life and I trust in her judgement to advise me when it will be time to say goodbye to my sweet baby. Thank you for your compassion and caring. It is so appreciated more than you know.

I give great credit to the entire team for their part in the longevity of my 18yr. old, kitty- girl. Their compassion is genuine and their professionalism is solid.

Very thorough exam & visit. Dr Martens was so kind and explained my dog’s nutritional needs without having to buy expensive dog foods!

Our 14 year old Bichon had routine checkup with Dr Schroeder who has conscientiously cared for her.
We were concerned about recent events that appear to us to be neurological. Luna has not coped well since we lost our 15 year old Poodle Tillman. The comprehensive care Dr Schroeder and all the staff provide at East Maryland Animal Hospital is very reassuring and comforting.

The most caring animal hospital we have been to! Everyone there is kind, attentive and happy to help. I couldn't recommend this place more for your pet!

The East Maryland team has taken great care of my Boxer for the past 10 years and they truly care. The doctors are thorough and always follow up to check on her.

All of the staff and the two vets I have interacted with have been professional, caring and friendly. My elderly cat isn't do well and her next visit is to say goodbye but it will be at Madison. I trust them to assist with a loving departure. Thank you.

They are friendly and helpful. Not gonna lie…a bit pricey…but I keep coming back because I know my dogs will get excellent care. They value my dogs like I value my dogs

I always have an easy check in experience and ease scheduling appointments. We’ve been coming here for three years.

Everyone was very nice! One nurse came out and gave our pup a couple treats and it helped him relax some more while we waited. Dr. Schroeder was great! Attentive, and gentle, and knowledgeable. I'll definitely recommend East Maryland Animal Hospital to all my fur loving friends!

Èverything was done very professionally and Doris is healing nicely. I asked if insurance have would covered any of the $480.00 bill. The tech said you have to send the bill in for reimbursement??? That's the answer??

I have a suggestion... I noticed all the people with large dogs were backing up to unload and then load the dogs. I realized that was because the heat from the black asphalt could burn there feet. It would be nice if I could have been reminded when making the appointment.

I had to take my dogs in yesterday for a well check.
Dr Schroeder always listens, takes her time, and gives all available options. She also keeps cost in mind. I couldn’t ask for anything more. Riley & Timmy say “Thank You!”

The most thorough and caring vet I have ever seen is Dr. Ann Clemons. She works with you in all scenarios. She spends time educating you on all possible prognoses and outcomes. If your funds are an issue as veterinary service costs/test have increased, she will give all possible secondary suggestions, as best as she can. Her instincts are excellent, based upon her years of experience. I have been her customer for over 15 years, and she's the only vet I will see.

Rabbits are considered an exotic animal so finding a veterinarian with the right knowledge and a staff who knows how to care for them can be a challenge.
Doctor Clemons is exceptional! She is so gentle and kind with my two small bunnies, an American Fuzzy Lop and a Netherland Dwarf. Both she and her staff take the time to carefully listen to my concerns and ask in depth questions. Treatment plans are clearly explained. If there are any questions after an appointment, Doctor Clemons or her staff are readily available to answer them.

What a wonderful Vet hospital! Bodhi was incredibly spoiled by the whole team. Everyone is super friendly. Dr. Schroeder was amazing with my dog and she answered all my questions.

The staff and Veterinary Docs at East Maryland are excellent and really care about the animals they see. They are also excellent with communication regarding your pets health.
