Dr. Chung has a cool practice and is a genuinely great dentist. Shannon makes scheduling a breeze and his dental assistants warm and personable. His work is painless and his smile is contagious - seriously though, he does phenomenal work and is wonderfully personable.

Cannot write enough positive things about my experience here! From the moment you walk in you’re met with a big smile and excellent service! The cleanings are fantastic and anyone you book with will provide a stellar job (I’ve had cleanings from multiple people and all are fantastic!)

Broke a crown over Thanksgiving. Went in expecting only an exam and plan for replacing and three to four week process. Was so happy and surprised to have the crown replaced during the appointment! Dr Chung has the equipment and ability to make a crown during the visit in the office.
More important however, is the skill-(the margins and fit were better than before) and the patient experience- ( Dr Chung and his team are caring, professional, and so personable) and timeline- in and out in under two hours.
Great experience all around. 5 stars and then some!!!

Tigard City Dental is awesome! Best dentist I have been to by far! Dr. Chung and his team are phenomenal. He’s positive, genuine, and gentle. I have quite a bit of anxiety around going to the dentist but I have never been to another dentist office that has been so understanding and caring! I definitely will continue to get my dental care done with Dr. Chung at Tigard City Dental and I 100% recommend their care!

I have anxiety around seeing the dentist and I often felt they were talking down to me so I’ve literally never written a positive review for one before. But, Dr. Chung and his staff put me right at ease. Dr. Chung’s demeanor was friendly and calming. He spoke to me like an equal and gave me the confidence to take control of my oral health. I’m actually looking forward to my next appointment!

Friendly and professional. Everyone is so kind, gentle and encouraging. My family will continue to use Dr Chung’s office as long as we live here.

Dr. Chung, Robin, and Shannon are who I met today. This was my first visit to Tigard City Dental and it was a wonderful experience from the onset when I called to make my initial appointment with Shannon. She was well organized, informative, and patient with all my questions.
Today when I went in for my initial exam, I was greeted brightly by everyone and enjoyed my conversations with Robin, Dr. Chung, and Shannon. They are a quality dental office who truly cares about the well-being of their patients. I have been a patient for over a year, and I can’t recommend him enough! I’ve moved my whole family to his practice because Dr. Chung and his team are AMAZING! I previously had my dental care through a larger dental practice, and I always felt like a number. At the larger dental office, I had a dental crown completed but afterwards I began experiencing a lot of pain due to the gap between the teeth. I was told that there is nothing they can do, and I seriously thought that I would have to suffer indefinitely.

Dr Chung was able to recrown my tooth and now I have NO PAIN! He is so caring, not only for my dental needs but for my well-being. With his encouragement I even stopped smoking which I have been struggling with since the pandemic started. The staff have been fabulous and so helpful. Plus the office is clean and very welcoming. I know my family are in good hands :)

Honestly, 5 stars is not enough. Dr. Chung is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. After leaving a larger chain dental group, I was discouraged and felt like I wouldn't find any dentist who would listen. THEN... I read the reviews for Dr. Chung and got scheduled for a new patient visit. In the past month almost all of my cavities (which my previous dentist failed to catch) have been filled and if they aren't filled, I have appointments to get them filled. Making appointments has been so easy and now I don't dread going to the dentist. The process each time is always so fast (I had an 8:30 appt for 2 fillings and was done by 9) while also being caring and making sure I felt heard. I used to worry about Novocain shots before a filling due to past bad experiences but I have barely felt the ones from Dr. Chung. All of the staff is so friendly and helpful. This office makes me feel like a person and not just a number or a bill. Thank you Dr. Chung and staff for being the best!

Dr. Chung and his professional crew, from receptionist to Dr. Chung, are always incredibly personable, knowledgeable, and fun!

Dr Chung and the entire staff are such a delight!!! They're fun, engaging, and ensure your comfort with each visit. My husband and I are relatively new to the area and are incredibly happy with Tigard City Dental as our new dental care providers. I don't think I can say that I've ever had that much fun visiting the dentist before but now I can because this staff is truly one of a kind. Friendly and hilarious and treats you like a lifetime friend. Not to mention that they are honest and transparent with regard to your dental health and they ensure you're provided the right information and options. Dr. Chung is wonderful. He’s thorough, upbeat, and knowledgeable. He took his time answering all my questions. The rest of the staff have were all patient, positive, and professional. I highly recommend this practice!

I've had good dentists and bad dentists and Dr. Chung is by far the best of them all. Not only is he polite, professional, and kind, he has exceptional dental skills, including the more complex dental issues like crowns and bridges. He has even saved two of my teeth from reabsorption. And his staff is not only exceptional in their jobs, they are top professionals with super personalities. You will have one of the nicest dental visits you can imagine with Tigard City Dental.

I can’t say enough about Dr Chung. I am not one who likes to go to the dentist, but Dr Chung and his staff make it very welcoming. Both the staff and Dr Chung are super professional and deliver on what they say. They are truly the best and when I need an emergency appointment they are always available! Every time I go on o the office I am very comfortable and I feel welcomed. I appreciate everything they have done for me.

Dr. Chung and his staff are lifesavers! I thought I chipped a tooth two days before my wedding and Dr. Chung was able to get me scheduled to get it fixed! Everyone I came into contact with was kind, personable, understanding and friendly. I’m so thankful to have him as a new part of my care team, as he was the first dentist I’ve had in 10 years that made me feel comfortable.

Dr. Chung is one of the nicest people, as well as everyone on his staff. They all do whatever they can to make you feel as comfortable as possible while also making sure you are as informed as you’d want/need to be on your care. Their office is the cleanest dental office I’ve ever been in. I’m really happy we found Dr. Chung! Highly recommend! 😊

What a great office! The staff here are extremely nice. I didn't spend a ton of time with Dr. Chung but he was very warm and friendly, and gave me great tips for some of the dental issues I was having. He also gave me suggestions for alternatives that worked with my budget. He wasn't pushy at all with services. I'll definitely be coming back.

Dr Chung and his entire staff are top notch! My husband and I had seen Dr Chung in his previous office years before he came to Tigard Dental. We were thrilled when we found out he was back in practice and close to us! I have trusted Dr Chung with lots of dental work over the years, including crowns and veneers on my front, top teeth - and I would never trust anyone else to do the same (amazing) work he does. Beyond being an excellent dentist, Dr Chung is personable, friendly, and will never push you to have dental work done that isn’t necessary. I would highly recommend Dr Chung at Tigard City Dental!

By far the best dental care I have ever had. All the office staff is great. Dr. Chung does wonderful work. I really appreciate his answering questions and great explanations on procedures. He now has a really cool machine that can mill a crown so that can be done same day so no more second visit or time with a temporary crown. I am very happy about that. I live 85 miles away so quite a drive but well worth it to me to have such a great dentist.
