I was in a month ago and it was a better experience than I was expecting. They were very professional and educated and tried new medication for my problem. I had no expectations going in. I came out very happy with my treatment. I will be returning.

This office has really changed for the better. Last 3 visits have been a godsend. Highly recommend. They've helped me when other doctors on the Mountain either had no clue of didn't take the time.

Dr. Bergstrom is kind and caring. She did a great job with me and I had very little pain. I would highly recommend her and I will be going back

New patients package not so bad. They knew what i was there for. Would recommend, if that's what type of services are needed.

I called at 8:05 and then at 8:10. They still have the calls routed to the answering service and the answering service says that they are open and will be open until noon. Today is Friday. It is the Friday of a long holiday weekend.

I had a cyst on my back that needed to be removed. Deborah, the NP allowed her MA (MAs get less than 6 months training on how to take vitals and give shots, definitely not qualified for anything more) to suture the wound unsupervised. I went back for suture removal 3 weeks later, the wound was still not healed and I was told to come back in two weeks. My stitches were removed 5 weeks after the procedure, but the MA that did the removal (bergstrom never looked at the wound) missed a few sutures, so I had to go back next day when I noticed them. The MA placed steri-strips on the wound to "keep it from scarring". Well a year later I still have a huge gaping crater over my spine, I was actually asked if that scar was from a gunshot wound!!! Horrible work, all because of complacency! 😠
Update: I went back there for some Botox and was very pleased with that procedure and the results. I stand by my opinion that an MA is not qualified to suture, and I am still of the opinion that an MA should not be allowed to remove sutures until a provider actually look at the wounds and gives the go ahead, but after speaking to Debra, N.P. I will continue to use az dermatology within those stipulations.

The staff at Arizona Dermatology Show Low were very friendly, but the NP seemed rushed the first time I saw her. I had never had my "freckles" checked, but one seemed to be getting larger; I was told it was a mole and had a biopsy, which resulted in advice that the mole needed to be removed. The removal seemed easy enough, but the NP and her aide had a difficult time stitching up the wound. The aide did the final top-stitching with no supervision. Now, almost 4 weeks later, the wound is still not healed. I went in to have the stitches removed, but the aide who tried to do so could not remove them all. He said he was afraid that removing them would leave "pits" in my arm. So the stuff just sat there in the wounds, two pits at either end of the incision that were full of the black stitching and white material (I guess the under-stitching material) that collapsed into a goo. The aide told me to cut the stitching as it "works its way out." I have managed to pull out some loose stitching, but the white thread-like material that was allowed to bunch up on both ends of the incision have created pits in my arm that are not healing quickly (and some of it still remains, with black stitching underneath still adhered to skin underneath). I was not prepared for the mess the stitching made. My husband, who has had moles removed at clinics elsewhere (out of state), has never had the experience I've had. I wish I had just told them to leave the mole, that we would "monitor" it for a while. Or that I had gone to another clinic.

What a disappointment this clinic is. I waited an hour after my appointment time only to be rushed in for a 5 minute examination. They do not have time to be thorough. Not going back

Worst experience ever. Quoted price for procedure and paid at time of procedure prior to it being performed. Week after treatment they inform that they made a mistake and I will now be responsible for different amount then quoted. Supervisor tells me she can help by settling up payment plan. Why should I be responsible to pay for an amount I didn’t agree to? I understand employees make mistakes but believe AZDermatology should take responsibility for their employees mistake not the patient.

Take care of your body, DON'T GO TO AZ Dermatology!
Debra was unknoweledgable in diagnosing basal cell carcinoma. As a retired helicopter flight RN, I had recognized it as such. She repeated multiple times, as though she found folly in it that it was merely old age. The single test came back positive. I'm proud of my age and resulting wisdom. IDK if she took exception to my Catholic necklace or what her problem. Her behavior has delayed my treatment by almost a year!

Worst group I've met. Would not bill insurance and said pay up front and insurance can reimburse. Didn't make it into visit because don't know about you, but I can't afford to pay everything up front.

Very bad experience and service!!!! Had my Botox first week of December, 10 days after I see no result so I called back they gave me a date to go back and will have to inject more. But they have canceled and re-schedule me for 4x!!!! The funny thing is Everytime someone will call me to cancel the appointment and re-schedule, the day before the appointment someone would call me and I have to explain that it has been canceled. Internal Communication Problem??? Finally, before they cancel on me for the 5th time I called and cancelled it myself. Can't go through the stress & anxiety anymore with them. Guess what the answer was when I called to cancel? Ok thank you & hang up!!!!
