Take the T for a short walk to the theater. Food choices are above average and staff are pleasant and helpful. Lots of comfortable seating with chairs that lean back and armrests that move up so you can cuddle. Big screens, great sound, clean bathrooms--you can't go wrong!6

This is my go-to big theatre. Would recommend purchasing tickets online prior to arriving as seats tend to go fast. They have a bar indoors with very expensive but fun drinks. Usually very clean with lots of restrooms near the theatres.

Had a great time here! Watched super mario in Dolby cinema and evil dead rise in standard. Dolby cinema is fantastic with super sound and amazing video (probably the best image quality you can achieve in a movie theatre). And super comfy seating! The theatre is also quite big and in the very centre of Boston. There's also the convenience of A-list for moviegoers. I'm Italian, I don't live here and I wish in Italy there was something like this with Dolby cinema and a convenient movie subscription. Most of Italian theatres still have normal/classic seating and no Dolby cinema or IMAX

This is like anyother AMC theater with some antique touch. It's kinda maintained well and it's very upscale. It also has imax and 3d movies in there. It's opposite huge park with good of street parking.

Honestly there aren't many movie theatre options in Boston, this is a good choice. It's pricey, typically $10-15/ticket and popcorn and a drink will set you back another $10-15, but for the rare blockbuster experience, it's worth it. Best to order tickets online and print them at the kiosk, choose-ahead seating so it pays to book a day or two in advance.

Great theater, my girl and I went to see BEAST with Idris Elba, entertaining movie. Definitely would go back to AMC Imax on Tremont in Boston.

It looks like I've come out of a time machine. The new improvement doesn't interfere in the "retro" style.

Absolutely breathtaking. Saw avatar way of the water in 3d and I couldn't have been more happier. At some parts the movie lagged like 20 fps. Of you don't know what I mean. You will see. But overall great experience. There is a mcds and a walgreens right next door so save your money and bring a big backpack full of snacks and drinks!

stops and it has multiple screens. The sound quality and the overall experience is also very good.

Beautiful theater in downtown Boston. Multiple floors. Free refills on drinks. A bar next to where you order food. Multiple floors. Huge theaters. Clean place. Friendly, approachable staff. I had a great time here! Id definitely come back when I'm in town again. 😁

Honest review. This place was insane. I went to watch Spider-man across the spider verse yesterday and it was a great experience. It could use some cleaning but compared to other theaters I have went to the cleaning isn’t even that noticeable. Always go for Dolby Cinemas. Dolby Cinemas has EXCEPTIONAL screen quality and size. The audio is just. INSANE. The seat recliners could use some work though, that’s really my only dislike. But overall this theater is definitely the best one around. I used to go to the Revere one and it was better than this one but this one is still amazing. Definitely recommend

Last week, I had visited the AMC Boston Common on a Saturday night, and I have to say, it was a nice experience after long time without being in a cinema. The cinema room was nearly empty, which allowed me to fully immerse myself in the movie and enjoy it.

One thing that made the experience even better was the convenience of the AMC app. We were able to purchase our tickets in advance and order our popcorn and drinks through the app as well, which saved us time and made the whole process seamless.

The cinema room was clean and well-maintained, which added to the overall enjoyment of the experience. The seats were comfortable, and the sound and picture quality were top-notch.

If you're looking for a great movie-watching experience in the Boston area, I highly recommend the AMC Boston Common. The convenience of the app, the cleanliness of the theater, and the peaceful environment of an almost empty cinema room made for an exceptional experience that I will definitely be repeating in the future.

I LOVE THE AMC 19. please make popcorn cheaper but that is my second home.

My go-to theater in Boston area. The seats are comfortable (unlike Assembly Row that makes my back hurt after an hour) and the spacing is ideal for viewing (better than Fenway). The unique, glamorous ceiling decor always makes it feel special to go to this theater. I’ve had issues from time to time, like overhead lights not going off when the movie starts, but the manager has made up for mistakes and it is still my preferred venue.

I saw "dune" in the imax theater, it was fantastic, giant screen, awesome sound system, comfy seating.

The movie was hour late and they provided me with a free popcorn & drink for waiting that long. Very thankful. And the movie Jesus Revolution is 5STAR!!!

Got here early so killed some time at the bar. Loved the drink there, Tito's Tide pool I think it was called. The Coca cola mix machines are great too since they give you a ton of flavors to choose from for soda. 3D experience was fun.

Still got it's charm. I always love to come to this AMC because it's just so beautiful. The view, decor and overall the screening room themselves. Plus the Free premieres are just a delight.
