Lotta Lou's Cafe

You know? You have to love spots and folks like this. So cool to have been lucky enough and managed to avoid the commercial junk food at the interstate gas stations. Just saw "cafe" on the window as we slowly passed by. I mean, how can you screw up a couple scrambled eggs, toast and coffee?
Walked in and a gentleman 89 yrs old motioned for us to join him at large round wooden table, so we did. We shared stories (mostly his and they were good), then his daughter who was the cook and ran the place joined the talk. So glad we stopped.

I stumbled across this little diner while on a cross country roadtrip. Eager to try something new we stopped and I am forever thankful we did. This place was so quirky from the decor to the sweet lady running it. Tbw food was delicious, reminded me of my grandma cooking, and was reasonably priced. I loved it so much that I've been recommending it to people I know will pass through that area for over two years now. I definitely reccomend eating here and definitely will be back one day myself.

Fabulous place

We stopped here for a coffee break. It's a vintage cafe/diner with the loveliest welcome. Coffee had just been brewed and was lovely, the gentleman showed us photos and memorabilia from years ago and we had a lovely chat with the owner. A personal touch and I would stop here for a coffee again! Thank you.😃
